Worst place to purchase! Never going back... My parents bought a kitchen table (elderly couple).. I would think that they would at least be thoughtful and considerate, my parents were looking at a smaller table with the idea of it fitting in there kitchen, salesmen being the con artist they are, pushed a more expensive table and bigger then needed! When delivered my parents still argued that it was still to big, as they were leaving my parents told the delivery crew that it's not what they wanted, they made them sign the delivery slip and kept pushing the issue until they signed it we called to tell the managers what happened they wouldn't help them and they aren't returning the table at all! We were shopping for some specific types of furniture for our new downsized home. Elena greeted us as we walked in, and listened to our needs. She was patient as she showed us around the store and pointed out various possibilities. She then left us to look around, but she was always nearby. When she came back to us, we pointed out our selections, and she walked us through the various configurations that might work for us. She stayed with us for almost an hour as we made our selections, always explaining the details of what we were looking at. When we made our purchases, she explained everything and made the process easy. She was always friendly and courteous, and easy to work with, though we were a bit fussy about what we wanted. the service within the shop was decent up until one of the employees came up to my guest and I to kick us out keep in mind we were browsing around trying to figure out what kind of couch, bedding and table set we wanted for our apartment. The lady within the shop then presumed to walk us to the exit due to whatever reason and kept saying thanking you for coming and as my companion was saying he wanted to look at another couch she was said it was nice having us here. One of the tables came with a scratch! Absolute crap, steer away! We bought and paid for (not financed), a full bedroom set and it took 5 months for part of it to be delivered, it's now been 3 more months and we are still waiting for the matching nightstands that the ZERO personality manager at the Palmdale location promised would arrive in Jan. of 2022. Today I even clicked "confirmed" for a delivery of the nightstands for Monday, 3/7 and I just got a call that the delivery is now scheduled for April and that the furniture is overseas somewhere. If I could I would rate the whole company a 0. I've purchase twice bedroom sets from them and I've had a bad experience twice. All the employees lie to get you to buy furniture promising you a deal and and in the end you don't even get what you pay for. I ordered a whole set from them that included the dresser,night stands, mattress, bed frame, lamps, pillow and a comforter. I'm at the end of everything I didn't get my pillows or comforter. Aside from that at the time of delivery they sent a miss match dresser and had to return several times as it was damaged every time. When it comes to their finance department they do not communicate amongst each other cause finance will start charging interest from the day you leave the store and it doesn't matter if your get what you paid for or not. I had the worst experience with this store and these people, no customer service at all!!! I made a $4,000 purchase on Dec23 and delivering should've been done on the 28th I am a 67 YO retired and disable man I asked the delivery guys to move couple of this out of the way and they said they have about a strict policy not to move customer's stuff because they can get hurt, as I am disabled I said cancel the order. They left and I get a phone call THU morning asking me to take the order saying they would help me to move my stuff in order to make the delivery, I said fine and the arrival time was between 12-4 PM really??? The guys got to my place after 6 PM and we're in my home passed 8 o'clock and guess what?? They forgot the screws to assemble the dining table, the guy supposedly said his supervisor told them another guy would be back on SAT to finish the job (this was a lie) on FRI there was no order in the system to return to my place on SAT regardless I received a text saying someone would be in my home on SAT, Saturday morning I get a phone call saying that no one was coming to see me. Before that on FRI I called the store and I asked for the customer service manager and 55 minutes later no one picked up the phone, SAT evening I get a phone call that a technician will be at my home on TUE Jan 3rd so for 6 days I had to eat standing up on my counter (remember I'm disabled) do a guys showed up and assemble my table, this is the first day after the delivery I can sit down at my table for decent meal. This day I discover that because I ordered a tall table I cannot sit down for more that's few minutes before my hip starts hurting big time so I called the warehouse and I ask them to swap this table for a normal height the answer was once delivered Iñtheir policy is that they cannot do anything for you they won't swap the table!!!! In another words I bought I am fucked!!! also the first team assembled a lounge that was part of the order and they just left it there it was assembled wrong until today another person came to fix this lounge and he discover that these pieces were NOT snapped together as they suppose to and the bed section was still tied from the factory this tells me that if I need it to use the bed in a month or so and because I am disabled there is no way in hell I could've open this bed for it's use!!! I wish there was a way to give the store and the employees 5 stars. Linda and Elena ( not sure of the spelling ) were amazing. I did 3 major purchases with them. Also their customer service employees were great. However, there delivery people and warehouse is ridiculous. We have been waiting for over a month for a food board. A chair leg was broke and a replacement was mailed to me. They mailed the wrong leg design. Their delivery time frame is 12:30-4:30, today they called and said they would be here at 5:30pm. I have a dresser that is uneven and their repair guy came out and said I have a uneven floor, I showed him with a level that it wasn't. The list goes on.... They charge you a insane amount for product insurance and I believe $10 recycling fee per item they unwrap. Very poor quality furniture! Bought the pop top gately collection family room tables. Go to Open the end table shortly after purchase -the screws rip Out causing the wood to split. They agree to change it out. The one they exchange it out for does the same thing and now the store manager won't do anything for us at all. It's a manufacturer defect! A poor design! TLDR; If you find something you like here, LOOK ONLINE FIRST for the real price!! afw.com is a good place to look too! We purchased a bedroom set here once and seemed to have a good experience with our sales rep, so we came back for the master bedroom set. Found one that we liked, but it was way outside of our range. Rep gave us a bit of a discount, brought over the manager, he brought it all the way down to 50% off. Seemed like it might have been an OK deal but he was pressuring us way hard while saying there was no pressure ("tonight only deal, one time offer, etc). Decided not to go with it for the price. Later I look up the price on the website...and it was listed for WAY less than what his "tonight only, one time offer" pressure deal!! Then I do some more research online and found afw.com, where I got my entire bedroom set, exactly the same, at 71% off the price they listed in the store, and 41 PERCENT LESS than their "absolute lowest, tonight only, one time exception" "offer". Doing this saved me $4790 off the listed in store price and $1340 off their best in store deal. See attached pictures for evidence of one of the items. So if you feel like throwing away cash for no reason, this is great place to do that. Nothing against the sales reps but the store management here is obviously using deceptive and shady sales tactics. Your customers will appreciate a little transparency, and maybe not straight up lie to them. At least use the online prices. read more

The customer service at Ashley's in Palmdale is immaculate. Even if something goes wrong with my order, they have always gone out of their way to fix it in a timely and efficient manner. The office supervisor Stephanie always goes out of her way to help with all my purchases their. I can see why she has 8 awards on the wall! I have lots of friends and family that have shopped their and will continue to shop there thanks to Stephanie, she practically keeps that place afloat! My experience as a first time customer was horrible. The set I purchased was not assembled correctly and the customer service is horrible they just keep apologizing but are not coming up with a solution for the problem at hand. They do not value the customers like they claim. We bought a couch 5 years ago. We went into Ashley's, sat on a couch in the showroom and loved it! When this same couch was delivered to our home we noticed immediately this was not as good of quality as the showroom couch! Its incredibly uncomfortable. You sink so far down your back starts to hurt within minutes. After 2 weeks parts of the frame underneath broke. Shortly after that some springs have broken. Its a complete disaster! Oh and it stains so easily! I would give zero stars but thats not an option. I will never buy furniture from Ashley's again! Our furniture started to crack after 2 years . I put a patio set. With the insurance. I filled a claim and I got it on special so they wouldn't replace it. They gave an in store credit. They failed to inform me the credit is good for 6 months. I went to use it, 7 months later and they refused the money. They are a joke. We've bought all our furniture from them and this is how they have their customers.. never again. I hope you guys don't make the same mistake. read more
