I went to shop to get a new bedroom set in December and then I came back and ordered a mattress. Everything got delivered. I'm in the beginning of January. They told me I had 72 hours to change my mind as soon as they brought the bedroom set to my home I called and told him I did not want the thing under the mattress to make it vibrate. They said nothing they could do. I've reached out to the sales person. I've reached out to the manager in Palmdale and nobody will help me this used to be my one stop shop for furniture. I will not be going back. I'm very upset. I spent $15,000 and they won't take back something. I called the next day and told them I did not want very upsetting but I will find somewhere else to shop. As a big company, they shouldn't advertise something if they don't stand with it and when I call my sales person, he says there's nothing he could do about it. My wife had an incident some years ago with an alleged manager. He was young and very inexperienced in working on his people skills. She was treated with great disrespect. He was such a weasel to her that I have never forgotten the incident. I wouldn't buy anything from any Ashley store. We wound up buying a LOVESAC sofa. Great service, and very honest and easy to work with. Was it expensive? Yes, it was, but it was a pleasure to drop big money on a company that treats its customers like gold. This issue could've been resolved in house had someone at the store called me back but instead they pretended to care by replying on here and I had to resolve it with the Better Business Bureau. Update: Shortly after 8am the following morning, my husband contacted someone in their Escalations department. They then said they'd have regional review the claim and contact us later on that day. Surprise, the claim was denied again. They came to that conclusion from the photos taken by the delivery guy. However, you can clearly see in the images that the recliners will not open simultaneously and if you move the recliners in any direction you'll be blocking a fire place, doorway and walk way. I contacted escalations again and reiterated the information above. Kay, the representative, couldn't provide any new insight and simply repeated the information from the email. I asked for the number to regional and she said she couldn't provide that number because they don't have access to it. After several failed attempts to come to some sort of resolution, my husband sent them an email threatening legal action... The following day, we received our one-time courtesy approval to exchange the couches. We are finally happy with our new couches but horribly dissatisfied by the whole experience. We won't be retuning to Ashley's but if you decide to, I think it's important to note: You have more rights as an online customer than an in store one. Read the fine print before signing anything in store. Upon delivery, you CAN refuse it. Simply tell the guys to take it back. Good luck! read more

My Mom bought a Stern & Foster mattress back in March 2025. The mattress and the base was over 4,000.00. After her purchase she feeling discomfort. Back in December of 2024 we spent close to 5000 dollars on a set of couches and matching recliner. We bought this from furniture discount. We we told by Caeser, the salesman, that the furniture was warrantied for 3 years. Not only did he lie but, within 1 maybe 2 months the furniture started squeaking loudly from material rubbing against material. I called the store and Ashley sent out a rep. All he did was smear some kind of lubricant on the sides of the couches and recliner. It stopped for 2 weeks but came right back. We were told by Ashley to rub vasoline if it continued. We were met by Mukesh who showed us a few tables we found one we liked but he kept insisting we look at a mattress also I told him we do not need now. We said OK we can look after hours of listening to him try to sell us a mattress and kept mention the Tempur-Pedic why those are up to 15 k for one he makes a fat commission. He bragged about how he was a millionaire and just works there for conversation. Well, we decided to skip the table and go with a nectar mattress as we could use not but the table is not needed now. I asked him throughout the hours of being there if we could return it if we do not like it, he said yes you have 30 days to return or exchange, and the mattress comes with the 365-night trial through the manufacture and who is the manufacture Ashley they own nectar. We said OK as long as this is correct, he assured us he is correct and that furniture is no return. We also bought the adjustable base, which is supposed to be a king, but they did not have them available so why demo it then! After being there hours, he called over the store mgr. Julie who looked at the paper print out to see if she could give discounts. I noticed on the paper Mukesh put down a queen mattress and he knew very well we wanted a king mattress, and he had two twin xl bases that makes a king base So Julie took off $200 after she walked away and when it came time to pay, I told Mukesh it's a king not queen so he said oh yes and changed it to a king! I said Well now we lose the $200 off he said let me go talk to Julie he came back and said he cannot take anymore off really well you just raised the price because it's a king I say that part was all planned to make you think you are getting a deal. We slept on the mattress 2 nights, and we could tell it would not last we called Mukesh and told him we want to return it, and we would be in. So, we were met by Mukesh he wanted to show us more mattresses and said no we just want to return it! I said so what do we do? He said go to the return counter. We were met by a girl in glasses and dark hair I told her we want to return it she said how long have you slept on it? I said 2 nights she said you cannot return it I was shocked I told her what Mukesh Said and apparently, he lied to us! I got into a huge argument with this girl and out comes this big, tall fat guy in glasses who grabbed the cancellation return sign and took it down. He started leaning over the counter pointing his finger at me and yelling at me! Um I am the customer who just spent thousands here and is this how they treat people! My husband had to step in this man was piece I said I was going to call corporate he said he was from there and I doubt it! If you where you would not be yelling at a woman customer! You would realize your salesman lied to us and take care us even Mukesh walked over and i turn to him and said you lied to us! They had the gall to want to offer store credit for the mattress return and I said no thank you. Emailed them pictures of all the damages, they sent someone to inspect the table and was told the table wasn't damaged and looked exactly like their display. Make sure you pay attention to what you are getting, this place is like a used car lot where all the want to do it take your money. I went to get a couch for my home and one day I was quoted a reasonable price, then after some research I followed up the next day and saw they were over charging me about 80 bucks for their protection plan where online is gives you pricing for each item. But when I brought it up they did see it and said there is nothing they can do. Interesting? So their manager some lady with too much make up comes to try to help but, she the worst manager I have ever met. I tell her about the price I was quoted and she was " nothing is set that's not the price, you are being charged to little and she ups the delivery fee, the monthly, just absurd. To top it off I found the initial sales associate who helped me, they gave me deliver for 100 compared to 350 they wanted to charge and got a decent deal. Now you ready for the best part of this sht show.. they deliver the items damaged with stains !!!! I told the driver and he said someone will come and replace it. And what does Ashley do? They said they can't replace since I didn't refuse the delivery as if I was ever told that option, so now they sending someone to clean the couch!!! I purchased a power recliner from the Palmdale Ashley furniture store on June 19, delivered to my home June 22. I just had knee replacement surgery and needed a comfortable and dependable recliner. In two weeks, the recliner has started to squeak in the frame, and the foam padding has degraded to the point where it doesn't support my lower spine. On September 3, I called the store but was forwarded to the corporate customer service number. I explained the situation and they told me that I must notify them of any issues within 72 hours. I explained that I purchased a five-year extended warranty. Apparently, that doesn't matter. I finally spoke to someone at the store directly and explained this situation and they told me there's absolutely no returns, period! They told me they would have someone contact me for a warranty check on the workmanship of the chair. No one contacted me. After spending $1000 on this chair that I desperately needed, I feel completely abandoned by Ashley furniture. They act like they could care less. They didn't even send me a receipt for my payment. I am a senior, 68 and deserve better. I am filing a complaint with a Better Business Bureau today . I agree, buy from Costco. No questions asked returns. read more
