My wife bought a dining room table set. I have a Suburban, so in order to get the table, we had to take the legs off. I confirmed the message with Ashley's to receive them Friday between 11:30-3:30. So I get rid of my old couches Thursday night. Guess what! They do not show up Friday! I call customer service and extremely rude. They say I NEVER confirmed my delivery and to call the store I purchased my couches from. I call our sales guy tell him everything. While on the phone he is talking to another Ashley's employee a female and she is ghetto and rude. Telling him I don't care if she confirmed with a text message that doesn't mean anything. I send him the screen shot so he can show her. Still doesn't care. Earliest they can do is that following Thursday. So I go a whole week without furniture. They try to tell me that the couches were actually damaged and that they realized that once they were coming to our house?? So the delivery is set for Thursday between 8:30-12:30. So I got a TV stand with a heater here with a 5 year warranty on both of them. The guy that works there told me that the warranty was going to cover EVERYTHING. So pretty much the 2nd week the electric cord ended up getting burnt. I called the warranty company and told me that the warranty doesn't cover anything electrical and they can't fix it. So I went to Ashley's Furniture to talk to the manager there and see what they could do for me and they also said that the warranty doesn't cover that problem. That they would sell me another heater but half price, like why would I buy another one. What if the same issue happens again? I even hired an electrician and he checked all my outlets and told me everything was good. He even told me that the electric cord might have been the problem. I came here after having a bad experience at bobs. The second I walked in here I was greeted and I thought it would be annoying because we were followed everywhere but nope the lady that was helping us would stay a good distance away and chime in here or there. 15 minutes into the store I found the couch I did not know was missing from my life. Stay clear of this location for your furniture needs!! My wife and I bought some couches recently and set a delivery date for a week later. Everything seemed fine, or so we thought... December 2nd delivery date comes and no couches. We even confirmed with them since they reached out to us the day prior to the delivery. We ended up calling the delivery line and apparently they rescheduled delivery for two weeks later without notifying the buyers. We were told a "manager" would be calling us back but but never received that call. So we made our way to Ashley's in Oxnard to see what can be done and where the mix up occurred. All the manager told us that the couches are back ordered for over a month.. which is ridiculous as we got rid of our old couches prior to the set up delivery date. The manager even admitted that the new delivery date they tried reschedule us would not have worked since they still wouldn't have the couches on time. Something has to give, either get rid of the 3rd party delivery or make some changes with their inventory control. Zero help from them so we decided to cancel the order and get a refund. February 6, 2021 On Nov 1, 2020 I purchased furniture at Todd Wanek's Ashley HomeStore. In Oxnard, CA. Todd Wanek is the CEO of Ashley Furniture Industries out of Arcadia WI. Mr. Wanek owns this store location and many others under the name of a Shell Company, Stoneledge Furniture, LLC in Colton, CA. In fact he has many alias business names; Here are a few more; Rockledge Furniture LLC, Southwestern Furniture LLC, Kingswere Furniture LLC, El Toro Road Assoc LLC, Ashcomm LLC, KT Brightwater LLC, Appls Fl-Ok LLC and many more. In December, I was very surprised to get a call that told me my furniture was ready for delivery, when other customers were waiting 6 months to 1 year for their orders. Since this was right around the holidays and I was going to be out of town, the delivery was set up for Monday, Jan 18, 2021. I also paid for the Premium Delivery option, which means, they deliver, bring it into my home, and setup the furniture. The delivery crew showed up on Jan 18, 2020 at 9:00 am. They just took everything out of the truck and put it in my house and left. It was a very quick delivery! Immediately, after they left, I was able to look at the furniture and instantly knew why I had received the furniture so quickly. There were many defects, listed below but not limited to: 1. End table is damaged. Top corner is chipped off and looks like a failed attempt to cover it up with a marking pen. 2. Coffee table top was not finished properly and has swirl marks in it. Also there are heavy white streaks all over the top and sides. I guess it's supposed to look like stressed furniture but it just looks bad and hastily finished. It's a mess! 3. One large chair has a crooked leg and there is white paint slopped all over the bottom, wooden parts. 4. The other large chair has a crooked leg on it. I cannot believe they would take advantage of a Senior Citizen by dumping off B-stock furniture and leaving like that. By 11am, I was in the store complaining to Abraham Aparicio, the store manager and also cancelling the last end table that wasn't delivered. They took that off my bill, as far as I know. However, they refused to acknowledge a replacement on the damaged furniture. This has caused a lot of mental anguish and frustration on our part, trying to understand why they dumped the furniture off, like they did, then refusing to replace or refund what was damaged. The furniture is broken, shoddy and has crooked legs, etc. It looks like "B" stock merchandise, not new that I contracted to purchase. After I complained about the problems, they told me they will only fix it!!! What? I didn't pay good money for furniture to be repaired, refinished etc. - IN MY HOME! What a disaster that would be, just waiting to happen. For Todd Wanek to send me some B-Goods and broken furniture, to be repaired is outrageous. I paid good money for New Furniture and that is what my contract is binding, for. His Fraudulent Business Practices are horrible and taking advantage of Senior Citizens, like us is outrageous! Since Todd Wanek and Ashley Home Furnishings breached our Sales Contract and fraudulently took advantage of us, I am requesting a full refund. Ashley Homestore should not charge me any Cancellation and/or Restocking Fees. As of this date, they still refuse to cooperate and insist on repairing the damaged furniture in my house. read more

Ashley furniture used to be pretty well-made. My mother & I both have been buying furniture from here for many years. The quality is absolute garbage now. My couch has already been exchanged once because it had cracks in the wood & you could hear it even when my 85 pound niece sat on it for the first time. There was also a major slope on one of the chaise lounge sides. Even after it was replaced, it's still doing the same thing. Both the wood creaking and the slope. The quality of their furniture is so bad now, they should be embarrassed. Even though I paid $1,600 for this very poorly made couch, I can't wait to throw it in the garage and buy something of actual quality. From another store, of course. Do not purchase their furniture protection plan. They are fraudulent. I normally do not purchase, but decided it would be worth it since I purchased a couch with 4 recliners and they are mechanical so thought with all of the other stuff they cover it may be worth it for the 5 year plan. It's just under 3 years and I just noticed not 1 but two issues with the couch. One recliner squeaks when it goes back slowly. The second the lower part is separating from the couch. At first I didn't think it was that big of a deal when I noticed a little gap, however, gradually over 3 months and primarily most noticeable in last month the gap accelerated continuing to widen which became a problem. When I mention I had order a chest he became argumentative. Told me it was what I ordered and I would have to pay more. It took them 3 deliveries to get the chest to me. They kept bringing wrong item. When they installed equipment they were careless. They were banging on my walls and ceiling. And was told since I didn't reject items pretty much they were mine. Also I did notify them immediately after arrival. I wasn't given a chance to look at them since they installed and left immediately. I went straight to store and told them about the issues I had with them. Customer service is good. For the price I paid I would have expected better service and furniture. Rudest service of my life! Management needs to take account - Thursday 1:30pm 3/4. I've previously purchased from Ashley furniture before and have never had an issue until this afternoon! To give a clear picture I wasn't dressed to impress because I just got off of a graveyard shift unloading trucks all night. I was then pretty much harassed upon entering for my legal name and was told that I should be aware that there's cameras at the front entrance watching my every move. Waving his finger in front of my face, pointing at the doors as confirmation from one bald headed man and some other larger man with a shorter haircut acting as if he's security of the place. "It's the law because we can only let 300 people in" they said repeatedly. I never once raised my voice to be treated this way! I simply walked into the store, stared at some short list in confusion and was hit with all this information... After just giving in, with my hand on my forehead out of embarrassment, I gave them a name. He then proceeds to say "was that so hard?" While shaking his head looking at me dead in the eyes. I then asked when it became the law to be treated this way and shook my head in confusion. Even the customer before me turned around confirming my argument then shook her head as well for the way I was being treated. Wow! I said to myself. Just ...wow. This is exactly what I needed after a 12 hour night shift unloading freight to other retailers... Why don't they get a tally counter if it's that important to them?! Out of all the retailers Ashley furniture store needed my full legal name? I keep laughing to myself in disbelief! The tally counter is $8! And hear me out-you can KINDLY great your customers instead of treating people like trash for how they look! Bought an expensive three piece sofa last June here. The frame became damaged on the inside somehow. I'd found out looking for a remote which is easy to fall in between the couch cushions. Unlike last week and prior remote couch searches, this time a hanging piece of wood with a nail sticking out was there. I had to call three numbers twice = 6 calls to get Ashley to setup a technician visit for the warranty they had fought so hard to sell me. I wouldn't recommend buying from this store if you are looking for good quality furniture. I just got my bedroom set delivered, 2 of my nightstand were broken (they made sure to replace that order) , there's also a small crack on my dresser which nothing has been done about it as of right now. There's also small chips and scratches all around the furniture. You can automatically tell the furniture is very cheap & not good quality at all. My wife and I had such a great experience at this store. We were immediately greeted at the door and pointed to the direction for leather reclining sofas that we were in the market for. After a few minutes, we were helped by Johnny. We appreciated his knowledge and guidance with the different fabrics and options available. He showed us all the different styles, answered our questions, and also gave us the space we needed to discuss things ourselves. The pricing was very competitive, and was made even more so by Sohel, the manager. He was very nice and listened to our needs and concerns. After we decided to move forward with the purchase, Johnny set up a delivery date for two days later! The delivery was within the beginning hour of the window they had given us, and the delivery personnel were very professional and prompt, and even gave us text message updates of when they would be coming.
