First of all, my boyfriend and I had to find a salesman to help us out. They helped everyone else coming in through the door but never showed us any interest, honestly it was probably because we looked young but they should have at least asked if we needed assistance. Second, a few of these guys are very rude! We asked for a quote and delivery time frame, the salesman would not give us any quote and only talked about how great their Ashley's store is and how it's the best in the area. Then we asked another salesman for help who was actually helpful, and this same rude guy comes back and tells our new salesman to go away. But thanks to this guy we went to Ashley's in Fairfax and got the same couch for $300 less with a coffee table. The employees in this store need to be retrained. read more

Keep in mind we had no furniture at this point so we had room for the new stuff. After week 5 we still hadn't heard from anyone so I started calling... what a nightmare. After coming across one we liked, I was told (with swagger) that if we can find the same sectional on the Internet, they would meet their price. My wife and I had a great experience shopping for a new sofa and chair at Ashley Furniture in Manassas. Our salesperson, Beatrice, greeted us when we walked in and offered to assist without a lot of high-pressure sales talk. It was really nice to experience a furniture store that gives you space enough wander freely and visualize how things might look in your home. I'd say Beatrice treated us with courtesy and respect, and was readily available to answer all our questions. Truth be told, we weren't planning to make a purchase that day, but when we found what we wanted at the right price, we went for it. I've gone around and around for four months trying to get an issue resolved for an $800 server we purchased. They sent a replacement part (drawer - image attached) with zero hardware or instructions. The staff at the store is helpful, but I have issue with the company. I bought a sofa along with the protection plan, and when I made a claim because the sofa was pilling in about a year. The claim was denied because it comes under regular wear. If I am spending thousands on a piece of furniture, I am expecting to receive a quality piece. It doesn't sit right with me that they confidently sell their pieces and then don't even accommodate when it doesn't meet the expected quality. I made a second purchase with them with the expected delivery time to be 4-6 weeks. I hadn't received any update so I called and inquired about it. They told me to expect a delay and that the part of the order will be delivered in about 10 weeks from the purchase date. I have an upcoming event and had planned the purchase so that I would receive the furniture by the time my guests will arrive. When I called, they said they can't do anything about it, except send an email which is most likely going to repeat the same thing. Very disappointing! read more

Ladies and Gentleman, let me give you the rundown on my very first and likely ever yelp review. If I could take time off work and stand outside this store and warn people away I would. I would pay money on a kickstarter campaign to take these guys to court. How did I go from happy furniture buyer to this? I bought 4000 worth of furniture from Ashley, according to the prices instore it was basically half off, but if you look on ASHLEY's own website this store was marking the prices up close to DOUBLE the starting price, so yeah they are taking you for a ride. Second, the sales folk made an agreement with me to give me the same discount for an oversized chair as with the rest of the set(not that much of a discount it turns out). Anyway then they write me up this nifty contract right there and try to have me sign it. Oops we forgot the discount, good catch!! I'm promised this furniture by the end of August. Many moons, many phone calls later just like everyone else it is weeks later in mid September that the furniture is delivered. I've since read the reviews and am terrified my furniture won't be ok. The movers were rude, I offered them something to drink, stayed out of their way. They asked me where I wanted the furniture, then just put it wherever. They seemed ANGRY to be delivering furniture, I guess they hate their job. The furniture only had a few scuffs and honestly I was more worried about the return process so I accepted it. I asked about my bill and just like in store they said I'd get something within 30 days. Well folks! Got my bill today and wouldn't you know they charged me the 3500 I owed them both on the estimated delivery date, the actual delivery date, and charged me a late fee(presumably for the charge a month early). What do you do when you receive a 7028$ bill for 4000$ furniture you already paid 500$ on? You call the store of course. And wouldn't you believe it ladies and gentleman? Ashley's Manassas store did not disappoint. They said there was nothing they could do, contact the lender, and hung up without so much as a goodbye. Sixty seconds on the phone was all the help Ashley's was willing to provide. Ashley's online? Meh, but maybe you find something. This store? ***DO***NOT***EVER***BUY***OR***ENTER***THIS***STORE*** ***EDIT*** After making this yelp review I did email the email provided and on 10/23 was refunded the 3500 to my account. If this kind of customer attention was given when I had called the store instead of after a bad review was given I would maybe have given 3 stars and overall recommended people stick to the website. There is obviously something wrong that needs to be fixed why doesn't management step in and change things. I am extremely upset as I bought a couch in June and it wasn't delivered until 8/27/19, one piece of a large sectional was the "dark grey" which was correct however all the other pieces were brown. I was promised a call back twice and never received one. I dropped over $8k at the store and now I am being told sometime in September with no firm date. All I wanted for the delay was a call back and someone to possibly throw in something like an additional pillow for the inconvenience. After this experience I wouldn't recommend as after they get your money the customer service is poor read more

Here we are going into April and we're being told it hasn't even hit production and might be ready by the end of the month. After multiple conversations with Ashley employees, I was horrified a month ago to receive a charge card bill for 150% of the original total. Not only was my $400 credit promised by the manager not on my account but they charged me double for most of the stuff I ordered. When I got the mail and found the bill, I drove to the store and spoke with Fransheska and Heidi who both informed me that Accounting was gone for the day and would send me an updated invoice on Tuesday when they returned. Note that this was a Friday around 3pm. Evidently Accounting is only part time. A month later, I haven't received my invoice yet. Meanwhile, Renee called me last week to schedule delivery of my bed. I let her know that I was uncomfortable scheduling a delivery when I was disputing the charges but that due to my work schedule I had only one day all month available - turned out that was today. So they came by today - a 4th delivery team and they were nice despite wearing shoes in my house with which they stepped on my pillows and down comforter. The bed was NOT in the original box which I questioned immediately but they told me it's normal to open at the warehouse and remove from the carton. Upon starting to set up, I observed 4 places the wood was damaged and also a spot where glue dripped from the back side of the piece onto a visible front side of the piece. The delivery guys took photos and called dispatch who advised me they could schedule a technician to fix the damage on another day. I made it clear that another day was out of the question and that I was not paying what was now double + for a new piece of furniture plus my time off work to fix it. As of now, 4 weeks post billing, nothing is resolved, 4 days off from work and still no bed. Strangely, they seem to think they can schedule another delivery date on 8/22 or later. This all from an order placed before Memorial Day. I don't understand what's wrong with them but I highly advise you seek elsewhere for your furniture needs! read more

We were told by three different people with three different job titles our furniture would be here by a certain date, and they all lied. I call customer service, and Heidi was absolutely no help. Round about answers, wouldn't give me a concrete answer or solution. I asked to cancel my order, and I was told I couldn't or it would be a 30% charge for "restocking" fee. How would you need a restocking fee if my furniture isn't even at the distribution center? I can't get in touch with corporate. The tracking feature on their website wouldn't even bring up my information. We should've read the reviews first. We just moved and we needed furniture. We thought we were being treated fairly. How can I give a negative rating? RUN AWAY DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION!!!! BEWARE!! I kick myself for not checking YELP first before we shopped here. I have been taken for a ride, I found out the hard way this is a franchise store with an owner who can care less if you ever get your furniture as long as he gets your money. The corporation should really audit this franchise and pull their name from him running it into the ground with the worst customer service I have ever experience after a sale. All talk and no control over any delays. They do not follow-up with customers regarding delays so don't plan anything and wait and wait and wait. They give you the phone transfer and everyone becomes a manager. Saleman gives a delivery date and all changes are found out when I call to check the status. Now it will be over 5 weeks and still not guarantee it will be delivered. Had to do all the calls myself. Finally they let someone call me named Tiffany to take the hit. Manager hung up on me 3 times when I called. Customer service is only good till they charge your card and you are out the door. Then the nightmare begins! I can only say RUN AWAY from this place! My husband and I had the most amazing experience at Ashley's furniture this evening (04/06/23). It was clear that they are short staffed, however that didn't stop the team from assisting us with our wants and needs. Zee, the amazing sales associate that helped us has to be the most helpful person I've dealt with when it comes to a big purchase. We knew what we wanted but we weren't 100% sure on which one. After going around the store and seeing multiple selections we were able to come to an agreement on the sectional that we liked. We told Zee what our budget was and she worked her God given ability to give us exactly what we wanted. This was such an amazing experience. If I ever need another piece of major furniture I will be going back to Ashley's with Zee to get it. read more

I have tried calling the store 5 times now and the lady keeps purposely transferring me to customer care when I have already spoken to them and they were not able to help me. I have literally spend over 10k dollars at this place and they provide me with the worst customer service. I gave them since November to help me with fixing my Patio Umbrella and no one reached out to me. They may have good prices but go elsewhere if you at least want some decent customer service. I will NEVER shop here again. The funny part about it is I even purchased the warranty that is supposed to cover all my stuff but they then claim my warranty does not cover my patio umbrealla because the sales person who is no longer there did not register it right how is that my fault?
