Really impressed with the quality of customer service I received at this location, and with the process overall. There aren't a bunch of brick and mortar furniture stores left, but it's hard to buy these things online without testing comfort and durability in person, so after moving, I made the trip out to the Kenosha location just to get a feel for general prices and get an idea what I was looking for. Wasn't planning to buy anything at that time, just looking. The sale associate was great (Angel) - answered our questions, wasn't pushy, & was super personable, even after we were clear that we weren't making a purchase at that time. We took pics, wrote down prices, tested everything out, and went home to continue shopping online. Ended up coming back to the store a few weeks later and buying 4 things. They had no issue price matching other local stores, or their own products found online. Delivery was a bit of a wait, but it was during the start of the holidays, so understandable. It's flat rate shipping, so waiting for all items to be available to ship takes time, but the communication and updates were great! Delivery was a breeze, delivery guys were A+, and the store checked back with me to make sure everything was great as well. I definitely recommend shopping here! Pick out what you think you want, shop around to find he best prices, and go back and get buy from here. Prices are average to what I found everywhere else, but you can get a good deal if you're patient and do your homework! Quality is definitely above average too. Oh! Mary Parker is fantastic! Recently, my old recliner went kaput. It was at least 8 years old, had been moved 6 times and I knew its days were numbered. Even so, I was devastated when it finally went. It was 6 o'clock on a Tuesday morning and panic immediately set in. Being handicapped and retired, I spent a good part of my day in that recliner. To make matters worse, I am a large man. What was I going to do? Because it was still early, my first move was to search Amazon. I found a couple possibilities, but delivery, set-up and the lack of personal help left me leery. Next up was calling the few local furniture stores in the area. I spoke with a family-owned store who had one chair that possibly fit my needs in stock. However, if it wasn't big enough for me, it would take 4-6 MONTHS to order one. Frustrated, I left messages with the two "chain" stores, said a prayer and crossed my fingers. About two hours later, my prayer was answered in the form of a phone call from Ashley's Mary Parker. She was friendly, knowledgeable and VERY positive. Not being physically able to get to Ashley, Mary sent me photos of the recliner she recommended for me with her sitting in it. My worries began to fade. After another phone call, a few more texts, my new recliner was ordered. four days later, it was delivered too my third-floor apartment and set up. That was two weeks ago. Since then, I have grown to love my new chair from Ashly, courtesy of Mary. I have her cellphone number and will definitely be calling her for any furniture needs that might pop up in the future. Ashley is a joke. Save yourself a lot of frustration and go somewhere else. I went shopping for new furniture in November, a sofa, ottoman, dining room set, and bedroom set. The salesman was exceptionally friendly, the only positive part of my experience. Delivery was set up ~3 weeks later. Delivery comes and the ottoman is damaged and the sofa is missing. I contacted customer service who said the ottoman would be able to be replaced in three days and scheduled a delivery. The sofa, I was told I would have to wait until February. I explained that under no circumstances would I be willing to wait another two months, they needed to figure something else out. I was told a manager would call me back. They did not. I called the next day and was told that now the sofa could come in January, and the ottoman was still coming in two days time. I wasn't happy, but I could accept this and move on. Nobody showed up on the delivery date of the ottoman (glad I took off work for it!). When I called to inquire why not, I was told the ottoman actually isn't available until January, but the sofa was suddenly available for a late December delivery. Wonderful, I care more about the sofa, I still had the damaged ottoman. Two days prior to the scheduled delivery for the sofa, I still hadn't gotten a phone call confirming delivery. So I called Ashley again, and was told both the ottoman and sofa were scheduled for mid-January. What the actual fuck is happening over there? I'm about ready to dispute the transaction with my bank and tell them to come get all of their bullshit furniture back, I'm tired of these people. I am very pleased to have worked with Martin Downer at the Kenosha, WI Ashley's store. My mom, 89, was getting out for the first time 3 weeks after the passing of her husband/my father. Covid stole my dad, and we all got it, and my mom could not go to her own husband's funeral. Ashley's was her very first glimpse of the outside world after a 3-week quarantine, total isolation, that started the day my dad died. I stopped in on my way to pick her up to alert the store that there may be meltdowns while browsing. We needed a lift chair, which would supplant his chair. When I returned with Mom, who had had a couple of crying jags on the way, was immediately happy and comfortable in response to the warm and caring welcome we got at the store. Martin and a colleague helped in and out of the perfect chair, and extended a level of warmth and caring beyond anything I could have anticipated. Furniture is about home, and this purchase experience most definitely got Mom off to a good start in moving foward. We just bought a second chair, exactly the same, for my home 55 mi away so that she can have the same level of comfort here when she visits. Martin pulled through for me again. read more

Bought a complete living room! Sofa, loveseat, chair, ottoman, two recliners, and a sofa/console table. Angel was are consultant and loved her! She was fast, knowlegable, and got our paper work done fast!! I remember past times looking for furniture 15 years ago and being completely badgered the entire time at ALL stores. I was dreading this trip! Well we went in was greeted and completely left alone to look around. It was actually pleasant to shop for furniture. We then went to value city furniture to have a look and it was like 15 years ago! This guy Andy wouldn't leave our side! I asked him several times to leave us look. I would make sure if we needed something I would let him know. Every time I sat down on something, BAM he was there. Trying to sell what I sat on! I got up and walked out! Nice job dumb a$$!!! Went back to Ashley bought what we picked out! Thanks to Angel!! Delivery was just as promised on the date and right in the 4 hour window! Angel called us to checked if we were happy with everything! We could have not asked for better customer service. We purchased a sectional in December 2015 and it was a seamless process even during the Holidays. Delivery was fast and on time. I was completely happy with my purchase with until... the cushions were getting further and further away from each other. (For ~ $1800, I would have expected it to hold up better!) It was up to a 2" gap in some spots. I contacted customer service and they sent us replacement foam insides. A few months later, it was doing the same thing. It was to the point where it wasn't comfortable to lay on the couch because of this gap in your back and everything fell into the deep pockets it made. Chris (manager) worked with us for a credit and Pam & Anita helped us pick out something else that we liked. They turned what could have been a very disappointing experience into a very positive one. My husband and I were looking to buy new living room furniture. We visited a few other furniture stores in our area. We found a few sets but nothing that really stood out to us to buy. Also we didn't find a sales person that was welcoming at those stores. We walked into Ashley Furniture in Kenosha and Jessie greeted us with a big smile and was very pleasant. She made us feel so welcomed and was not a pushy sales person. We had a $ amount we didn't want to go over however after looking at a few options and Jessie going over the extra's they offered in a protection package it was worth going over our budget. We found what we wanted in the selection and value of the furniture we purchased. The service we had with Jessie was Great! I was in need of a king size bed but had a budget because i did NOT want to spend upwards of $2,000 on a new bed frame and mattress especially with Christmas in the upcoming days. I went in and got Darren as my salesmen and he was absolutely wonderful. He didn't pressure me at all, helped me find what mattress worked for me in my price range and ensured i walked out of there with something i loved. There was a lady in the front with a bad attitude and didn't look like she wanted the job - quit if you don't hate it so much. It's not my fault or Darrens that you work there. I don't know why people bitch about the delivery. I totally get it. Do your homework people. I did a lot of comparison shopping, and when you get the TOTAL price, on exactly the same furniture, they had the best price hands down!. I'm sure they keep their prices down by not having stuff stored in 50 different warehouses collecting mice! So I had to wait a few days to save a lot of money, and let someone else haul all that furniture in, hell ya. I've bought several rooms from Rena. She's awesome. With any purchase, especially a larger purchase, such as furniture - I like to browse and seek out an associate if I need help. Well, this is exactly what happened. I was greeted with a cheery hello and told if I needed anything - just to let her know. It turns out - she was not only named Angel - but she truly made the whole shopping experience heavenly. I stopped in for a chair and left with an order for a bed and chair. Then a day later I received a text stating that the bed wouldn't be delivered for over a month. My wife had major surgery and the bed was a very important item. I called and talked to them about this issue and with the manager and employees at the Kenosha, WI., store they came through with another related item to replace the one that was on back order. Local Kenosha store was very helpful. A lower price was available on-line and the store honored the lowest price. Delivery was scheduled for a particular day, and all arrangements occurred as advertised. Ashley called three days in advance of scheduled delivery as a reminder that a call would come the day before scheduled delivery to specify a 4-hour time block. Maureen was amazing! We came in with a specific need for a sleeper couch and she walked us through all the selections available. We really appreciated how she made sure she u sees food what we needed as well as what we liked and didn't like and then provided additional options. She even walked in our shoes and laid on the couches to get the perspective of what we liked and didn't like. When I arrived Mary Parker was at the front of the store and I told her what I was looking for however I have COPD and could not walk the whole store. She immediately grabbed a wheelchair and wheeled me all around the store for about 2 hours. She did not hesitate to show me all the choices that are available and we picked out some beautiful pieces. But Darren was so helpful and nice, we found a sofa and loveseat we fell in love with and decided to purchase that day.
