My furniture came looking awesome my delivery time was from 8:15 to 12:15 they came before 8:15 I was so so happy usually when you buy stuff you have to wait forever they came and within 10 minutes done ! Thanks Ashley furniture! I will definitely come back ! Very polite delivery guys as well read more

I will NEVER buy from Ashley again! I ordered a sectional in May 2020. I was told deliver would be in July and that never happened. They scheduled and canceled my delivery on 3 different occasions. Then in Sept they just canceled my order and did not even notify me!! Customer service was horrible! DON'T BUY FROM ASHLEY read more

By far the worst experience I've had buying furniture. I bought a couch and was told it would be ready in 3 weeks. As the 3 week mark was approaching, I called to check on the status of my order. The sales associate never added my phone number to the order so not only was I unable to check the status, but I also had to call the customer service number and wait an hour to have it added. Once added, I was told my order was delayed an additional week. It is now the week that it's supposed to be available and when I called to check the status again, I was told it's delayed another 2-4 weeks. I called the customer service number again and asked the reasoning for the delay. I was told that the couch was put on back order, yet no one from the store called to let me know. The customer service rep told me that they attempted to call me but the number didn't work--I confirmed the number on file, gave her an additional number to add to my account, and told her I had no missed calls on the day they supposedly called me. The cherry on top is that the sales associate told me when I bought the couch, "it will be available 8/21 but things have been coming in earlier so I would anticipate it being ready before then!" I do not appreciate her giving me false hope as I am still waiting for my couch with no confirmed date of when it will be available. I would not recommend shopping at this location. read more

ATTENTION SHOPPERS!!!! Do not buy anything from Ashley, they have the worst warranty program. I bought a mattress( Ashley rest)with a ten year warranty hoping nothing would happen, but it did happen. my mattress started to decompress to 1/2" meaning that when you sit on it should go beyond 3/4 " in height well mine did not. I called Ashley and they told me that they would send a technician out to analyze the situation and get a mattress out to me ASAP. well that did not happened because of a stain that went thru " A mattress guard protector"( Salespeople tricks to sale )so now, Ashley is saying that the warranty is no longer available. they told me to call Guard protector service , because of a stain that was supposedly protected by a third party service , which they had sold me. I called Ashley Headquarters in Wisconsin, hmm.. they are a JOKE! first of al,l they need more training to assist a person over the phone( Training for new Managers). customer service tells you want thing and then you escalate the situation to a Manager, and they have no clue how the Process flow works. I will not buy from Ashley furniture anymore. I will give my business to Value city!! Tower Inc. Plainfield,Illinois read more

I bought furniture on 11/8/20 and was promised a delivery of the bed on 11/19/20. After clearing the old furniture out of the room and having the delivery rescheduled several times I was finally told that the bed will be available 12/3/20 and that I will have the rest of the bedroom set delivered today. I had half of the bed delivered today. No other pieces were delivered. I called the store and no one answers. My daughter has been sleeping on the floor because of this. read more

We went into this store to do some furniture shopping. Adam the sales representative was friendly and helpful. He rang up our order only to have their computer system mess it up. They changed our American express card but they didn't show that it was paid for. 30 minutes later they thought they figured it out. No they called and said no we weren't charged yet amex said we were. The manager is clueless doesn't know how their systems work and the desk employees are ignorant. Bottom line is shop at amazon for your ashley furniture it is cheaper and free shipping. And you don't have to deal with rude ignorant people read more

Well, perhaps it was just my lucky day but I had a great experience at this store. I've been procrastinating for sometime and really wasn't sure if I would buy but Rachel was absolutely the best! I've never had a sales person not only answer my questions but help me with matching and making some decor decisions. I took a lot of her time and she let me! Uplifting and im telling you wow, the first time I've ever had fun furniture shopping. I can't say enough good things it was really a surprise to be treated like I had a million bucks! Thanks Rachel!! read more

By far one of the best furniture stores in Joliet! on our visit there, Rachel assisted us throughout our purchase, she's very friendly, very helpful, & she will go the extra step to make sure her customers leave 100% satisfied. I purchased power recliner sofa and love seat from Ashley in Joliet $3,800.00 was scheduled to be delivered on June 24 got called hours before due delivery time claiming truck was involved in an accident. And furniture was going back to be inspected before delivery when it got delivered 5 days later it was damaged and defective upon set-up. I refused deliver and company notified by delivery team they were told to leave it till replacement would come next week I h called and been out to the store given 5 different delivery dates and still haven't received safe or working furniture. So I have filled a complaint with the Il.AG consumer complaints division and I will be filling a civil suit for Breech of Contrac. But this is for anyone thinking of or considering buy anything from that store Please take my advice Don't Do It. The store Manager Alisha Kyles is not believable either she promised to push to resolve this immediately and made other promises and none of that happen. read more

Do not buy the furniture protection plan!!!! The claims are not "soooo easy" to make as the salesman said. I won't waste your time with reading my sob story. However, filing a claim is a joke and a total run around. The actual service will take over a week as well. So, in my case, if your dog gets sick on the couch, it will sit like that for over a week. You will be better off saving the money for what the plan costs to just make repairs/cleanings yourself. This is just not one be experience either like I thought. I was told This is the standard process from them. read more

Great place for furniture! I accidentally reviewed Ashley Furniture with a negative review, when I was actually meaning to review Harlem Furniture! We have always had great experiences with Ashley and I recommend them. read more

Had a great experience buying a new bedroom set. Our sales persons Cedric and Rachael Ray were very nice and helpful.

Have never been to a store that allows a sale over $4000 wall out the door because the purchase was going to be a house warming gift purchased by someone out of state for our new house in Plainfield. They Insisted that they physically needed the credit card in order to proceed with the purchase, or, open a line of credit and have the people who were purchasing the items pay us back. Thing is, to open a line of credit is to take a chance of our financing for our home financing to fall through. Negative star review. read more

I recently purchased a reclining sofa and loveseat from ashley. The only reason i gave it four stars is because the furniture is a little darker than the color on the web and store. I recieved my purchase yesterday and am very pleased from the sales ladies that waited on me in the joliet store and the 2 delivery people that delivered my furniture. I know i will enjou my mew furniture for years to come. read more

We had been looking for a sectional for our living room for a few weeks. After visiting about 10 furniture stores we found one we loved at this Ashley store. After we walked in we were pleasantly surprised... we were not attacked and harassed from the sales staff like he had been at other stores. In fact the sales lady was friendly, respectful and gave us space to look around. We got a good price and the delivery communication was great. Awesome furniture buying experience! read more

Great, prices compared to other stores, nice selection we bought a set it was on time .

Had a great experience here with salesperson Dan. He went the extra mile to make sure we got what we wanted and at a good price. I can't stand pushy salespeople who hover over you the entire time you're in the store, but this was not an issue here. He made us feel like he was more concerned with making us happy than he was with making a sale. read more

Worst service ever, they delay my Delivery over a month, the manager has the worst customer service. Never again buying at Ashley furniture.

BUYERS BEWARE Be careful when you purchase items that are as is! My purchase was just that, also you have to arrange your own delivery. I had looked over the furniture and accepted it as is, after delivery I found a small tear in the leather behind a tag installed on the arm of the sofa. I have taken responsibility for accepting the items, but would like to warn anyone accepting AS IS and non delivery by this or an other retailer. I thought a higher degree of honesty would have been something a major retailer would want to feature. I truly believe they covered the damage rather then stating it was there. We liked the furniture which fits our needs, but would have liked to make the decision to accept the furniture as is rather than discovering the hole later. read more

UPDATE- Office manager just informed me that $1400 for a couch "does not buy QUALITY FURNITURE". I purchased a new couch approximately 7 months ago for $1,400. When I sat on the one in the showroom the cushions popped up in weird positions and the salesman quickly said that this floor model had been sat on by thousands of people and that the cushions would never do that in my own home. I had a similar couch that was made by Broyhill that lasted me for years but this was a sectional so I was excited to put it in my home. When the couch was delivered they didn't put the pieces together. Once we hooked the pieces together the back didn't line up. It was upsetting but something I just learned to accept. However as the weeks turned into months the couch cushions continued to pull away from the sofa every time someone would sit and get up. We have to literally lift the back cushions and shove the seat cushions into the couch before we sit or after we're done every single time. All of the seat cushions backs are sagging. Two of the backs all of the padding has fallen down to waist level. We don't have pets sitting on the back of our couch and it's only 7 months old! So we got frustrated and I called Ashley Furniture customer service. The first day I was on hold for 20 minutes. I called the store because customer service wasn't answering and they sent an email over to customer service. After not receiving a call for a couple days I contacted customer service again. After 37 minutes on the phone with no answer I called the store a second time. They stated they have several complaints about their customer service line not picking up and that they don't have a direct line for them either all they can do is email. So they emailed again and someone finally contacted me back. They set up an appointment for a technician to come out and take a look at my couch in a four hour time window. He came out took pictures stated that there were obvious issues with my couch and that Ashley would contact me within 48 hours. That they were really good about taking care of defects in their furniture. 48 hours passed and then 72 and then a hundred... a week later I contacted the store. The store sent them an email and told me to wait 2 more days. 5 days later I contacted the store again and the manager once again sent another email to customer service. He stated he was also attaching the technicians photos to the email and carbon copying his district manager so that we could get this resolved. This morning a woman from customer service called me and told me that there is absolutely nothing wrong with my couch that it is "customer perception" and if I want another technician to come out for a second opinion I need to wait until March. So much for standing by their product! How is there nothing wrong with a couch that you can't use as a couch without adjusting it into the form of a couch every time. How is there nothing wrong with back pillows that are sagging and broken down after 7 months. How was there nothing wrong with a sectional that doesn't line up. I will absolutely never do business with Ashley Furniture ever again. I told the customer service rep to come and get this couch and I want my money back and she told me I had to talk to the store. LMFAO! read more

Didn't know what to expect when I wanted to buy some new furniture. Went into Ashley furniture in Joliet and had a great sales person. She showed me all around and took the time to talk about each piece I was interested in. When it came to purchasing the store manager came over and greeted me with a smile. Both the manager and the sales person were very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Came home and my furniture was delivered promptly the next day. The furniture looks wonderful in my home. I am so happy with the buying experience. I would definitely recommend the store. I will be sending my family and friends there for purchases plus I will be going back. read more

Update to my previous review... So the awful delivery guys put the couch together wrong and forgot to put on a piece. They had to ship the piece out then I had to schedule another person to come out and fix it. Now I notice there is some sort of drill bit that was obviously dropped in the couch when it was being manufactured and its sticking up under the leather. I'm just amazed at all the issues I had just to buy a simple couch. You'll never get my money again Ashley! read more

Love love love this store but the delivery of my power recliner without the electrical cord was very frustrating!!! + having to wait an additional two weeks for the next delivery + being told I would receive a hundred dollar store credit for my frustration & didn't was not nice either so that is the reason I'm only giving 4 stars read more

I recently purchased a sofa and a loveseat with end tables and a matching coffee table. It has been over a MONTH since I ordered the set. I was told I would receive a phone call when all of the pieces were in. I never did. I finally called and I was told that all of the pieces were in and I could come and pick them up. My friend got to the wear house and soon found out that the coffee table was not in. I refused the order and told the woman that I was going to cancel the entire order. She said I would have to call the store. I called the store and told the woman on the phone I wanted to cancel the order. She said that only Kathy the manager could do that. I asked to speak to Kathy. I was told that she would not be available until 1:00 today. REALLY? WORST SERVICE EVER. read more

I bought a bed frame which I love, 3 years ago from this location but won't buy from Ashley again. I stopped in with a friend to casually view some furniture earlier this month and was followed through the store by a sales associate my entire trip. This was even after repeatedly saying I did not need assistance to shop nor did have any questions. After I realized the salesperson wouldn't take the hint and give us some space to browse I just chose to leave. I understand salespeople typically work on commission but will not return to this store ever again. read more

No stars if possible... Have purchased from this location on several occasions but was very disappointed with my last experience. Recently bought a new sectional and chaise chair from this store. I am color blind and questioned the sales person on the color of the chaise. She assured me it was a true gray and claimed the color variation on their "poor lighting" (even though the I felt the chaise had brown tones in it I made the mistake of taking her word on the true color) Chaise was delivered, set up in our master bedroom and it definitely had the brown tones that I feared and does not match the gray walls or carpet in our bedroom. I called customer service the very next day, offered to bring it back myself and was told "we do not accept returns" What??? In todays day of age of brick and mortar retailers getting killed by online merchants how is this possible? I told her I reviewed the terms of the sale and no where does it say all sales are final. She informed me of the fine print where its says that "they reserve the right to deny any returns" So basically they have a "blanket policy" to hide behind that sentence and not accept any returns. Horrible customer service.. After arguing she told me she would speak to her manager and get back to me and that possibly I could return it for store credit. I was ok with that and was willing to buy another more expensive chaise in its place. Low and behold one week later I have not received a return call and I still have this chaise sitting in my bedroom with the tags still attached. Good thing I purchased a sectional as well that day because my very unhappy wife has been making me sleep on it. Watch out ASHLEY FURNITURE, employees and policies like this are going to lead to your downfall and closing like most of the other big box specialty retailers. I found the same chaise on an online retailer with free shipping for less money... And they have a no hassle return policy.. I see a future similar to Carson Peri Scott and Sears in your future. read more

Our sales rep Valerie was extremely helpful and had great creative ideas. She help to furnish or entire house at reasonable prices.

Very frustrated. bought a very expensive mattress with a warrantee and purchased there bed cover. Slept with this stupid plastic bed cover on for years... And when the bed started sagging more then 2.5 inches I called for my warrantee and they sent someone out. measured took pictures. I did not even get a call back.. I had to call them and they said that my mattress had a stain on it. they only stain on my mattress was on the box spring because the plastic cover did not cover the box spring. The top pillow part was lightly tinted yellow the entire bed because of the plastic cover. It was not like there was a stain on the mattress it was tinted from the annoying plastic cover they make you sleep with... I am not happy and will never go back. I have spent so much money in this store and never had to user the warrantee... But now that I had to once they fight tooth and nail not to provide you with the service they said they were going to. And once I told the customer service lady that the bed was stained from there cover she said she was going to have a manager call me back.. And guess what NO manager ever called... NEVER AGAIN.. What a shitty customer server when you have spent way over 15,000.00 in there store.. They just lost a customer for life. read more

NEVER AGAIN WILL I DO BUSINESS. I've recently just bought a house and decided to go to Ashley furniture to buy 2 tv stands and a bedroom set. I got it delivered Out to me weeks later after I purchased it which wasn't a big deal. The bed that I got was not the same bed that I look at at the store. (Number 1). Then the tv stands got delivered and I noticed a big scratch on one of the stands and called them they said they are going to have the part that was scratched delivered to my house. When it's delivered to call them and they will have a technician come out and fix it. I called them when it came it. A technician showed up to my house with another tv stand and said they were charging me the $549.00 for this. I explained to the technician that he was supposed to fix a part that I got delivered he didn't know anything about it. I called Ashley back again to explain the situation they were also clueless of the man delivering me the new tv stand and didn't know about the part that was delivered I asked to speak to a manager (star) and she was clueless too. The technician then called his own boss and said he's having someone come out to fix the part that was messsd up. (Number 2). When you order a queen bedroom set my set came with two lamps. They were delivered to my house 2 weeks after the furniture already came. When I got the lamps both of them were broken. I called Ashley again to explain the situation they said they would order it to there store I would have to go to Joliet to pick them up for inspection I agreed. I waited the two weeks like she said and called to see if my lamps came in. The customer service lady had no idea what i was talking about. I asked to speak to the manager (star) she said I never called about broken lamps when I did ! And said she will order them and it will take another two weeks. At this point I'm irritated because I spent well over six thousand dollars with them and they are trying to tell me I never called them about broken lamps. This communication between them is poor. Two weeks later the lamps finally came in! I was excited. I went to go pick them up seen that they were not broken and took them home. When I opened the box I noticed a huge nick on the lamp. I called Ashley again, I explained to them there was a nick in the lamp and spoke with the store manager star I was upset because this is unbelievable how many time does a valued customer have to complain about there purchases being broken or having problems with them ? She made it seem to me like i was lying that there was no damage done to the lamps when she looked at them so it was my fault that the lamp is nicked when it's not. Me being frustrated I said the word shit and she told me she could not speak to me and I could call corporate. I would never buy from there again. When something is wrong and your paying good enough money you should be treated with respect not like you lying. Unbelievable. My sales lady was super nice. But the manager doesn't care about what's damaged and what's not. read more

This place is a joke. My wife and i bought TWO sets of living room furniture from here. The first set is in our basement it is a sectional that smell so bad. the in side of the cushions smell my bad meat and i have smelled that why sense it was dropped off. We got the extra plan on them so we called in that day, they sent some one out and they said it was fine. Are you joking it smell so bad my dog wont eve jump on it. so i sent it back (one week after it was dropped off) with only getting half my money back. The other stuff we got went up stairs a couch and love seat. once it was placed in the living room we saw a nick in it and one of the cushions was on a lean so when you sat down you lean in and sink (non other the other cushions were like this) We got the extra plan on this one too. So we call and they sent some one out he tried to paint the couch where the nick was but no luck with that, so he moved over to the cushion and said they need to send you a new love seat. Ok so he writ every thing up and told me they would be calling a week go's by so i call in and tell the service person everything and that i have been waiting to get a call. She said rudely why did you just call in because we would have never called you. I said that nice customer service you have i took time off every time you cam to my house and you wont call me when your product his broken WOW. So she get a manger and they said that they would not send me a new lover seat because it is sag do to us siting in it. first of all the set is only a week old and the love seat came that way it is even on the drop off paperwork that is was that way. So i send that back and had to writ a BBB complaint to get all my money back. I went to room place spent less and after hearing what i went thro gave me the extras plan on the furniture for free. read more
