On our initial visit to Ashley, we were greeted by Ish Verma, a genial and knowledgeable sales associate. We had not fully clarified our vision for the living room, but Ish was extremely helpful to that end. We returned some weeks later, and Ish once again was very helpful in finalizing our purchase. We were far less pleased with the check-out process. The associate behind the counter indicated that delivery could take place on Thurs, Mar 12. However, on the 12, we phoned to get a sense of timing, and we were told that we were not on the schedule, and that our chair (A floor sample) was not yet moved to the warehouse to be together with the couch (though 2-1/2 weeks had passed.) I asked to speak with the manager. He was not there. I asked that he call me. To this day (A week later) I never heard from him. The delivery process, when it finally happened yesterday, was top notch: Punctual, capable, and efficient. In sum: Kudos to Ish and to the delivery people. If there were a score higher than 5, I would happily award it to each! As for the administrative team, even 1 is a generous score! read more

We are typically Bob Furniture customers, this is the first time we decided to go to Ashley furniture. We wanted a dining table from Bob's furniture, but they didn't have it so we decide to go to Ashley's furniture instead. When we first entered the store, we were greeted by a very nice sales person and he helped us order what we needed. We spent over $7000 on two pieces of furniture. After we checked out, they told us that someone would contact us within the next day for the ETA of the furniture. It has been two days and we still have not received any sort of notice from them. I decided to call them this morning myself, and they told me that it will take 6-8 weeks for one piece of furniture and 4 weeks for the other. They also mentioned that if we decided to pay another $89 that the othershipping would take a little less time. We've already spent $500 alone on shipping. I own three restaurants, and I have lots of experience when it comes to clear Customer Service. I am very dissatisfied with this experience in the poor lack of communication. I will not be recommending this furniture store to anyone. After paying such a great amount of money, i am truly shocked to hear how long the shipment is supposed to take. read more

0/10. I purchased a nectar mattress from Ashley Furniture, who owns the company nectar mattress. I was sold on the great return policy of the nectar mattress which I bought at this store. I have had the mattress for less than 30 days and it has given me some serious back issues when I wake up. The sales person that sold me the mattress said I can return it if I don't like it. IT HAS BEEN LESS THAN 30 DAY'S. On nectar's website, they have a 365 day trial period, and Ashley furniture owns this company. I called the location and I was told by a manager that they will not take it back and it says on the back of the receipt you have 72 hours to return a mattress. It's kind of funny when you think about it because when you open up the mattress, it takes a little bit over a day for it to even fully form so how am I supposed to be able to decide if a mattress is right for me in two days? I am hoping that corporate honors my situation since I was sold on a mattress that I can allegedly return, but now I cannot return. If this is the case, I recommend nobody to purchase anything from this location and to read the back of your receipt carefully if you do even if the sales rep tells you a great return policy. I hate to break it but it probably isn't true. I would also recommend you to read your receipt to make sure you're not getting screwed over like I just was. We are very pleased with our new sofa and the entire transaction. Ish Verma was very attentive and assisted us in selecting the right sofa at a great price. We have had the furniture for over 6 months, and the furniture has been as comfortable as when tested in the store, and it was a good selection for the price. Do not shop here! We bought a brand new couch, and the smell is unbearable. We waited for a month while we let it air out, hoping it would get better. We can't sit on it without getting a headache. We let the store know after a month that the smell is not going away, and they told us that we had to say something within 72 hours. We thought we were doing the right thing by trying to fix the problem first versus immediately sending it back. The manager was super rude and said there is nothing they can do. We now have a brand new couch that we can't use and we have to just throw away I guess. They should be held accountable if they make an inferior product. read more

We bought a bed from this location a week ago. The bed that was shown on the catalog by a sales woman called Merrari and the bed that was sent to us are different. We called the store to let them know we recieved the wrong product and need it returned ASAP. The store representatives (Merrari, Anyie and Cameron) refused to acknowledge the mistake and return the product. We were told to speak to corporate about the return and given a number to contact. The corporate representative we spoke to said she'd escalate it to a higher manager and get back to us in 72 hrs. We did not recieve a call back and had to reach out to them. We ended up having to pay 150 for the return even though it was the stores mistake that they sent us the wrong bed. The bed is still not returned even after we paid the $150 delivery fee. Also, their return policy is that it must be done within 72 hrs. However, they told us to wait 72 hrs to get a call from corporate. It seems like they were going to make us wait until it was too late to return the item. They're scamming people into being stuck with things they are having trouble selling. We were put on hold for over an hr just to speak to a manager. Avoid this store! They will scam you! You will end up with things you didn't agree to buy and can't return! read more

I purchased a recliner rocker for my dad for Christmas... he has now had it going on 2.5 months when the foot of the recliner would not stay up when sitting in it. I called because I also paid for a warranty. I was told to take pictures and a video of the problem. I was told that there is nothing wrong with the chair, it's because of wear and tear and it doesn't fall under the warranty guidelines.... I did not agree with the answer so I went back into the store and was told that ... 1. He needs a power recliner that I would be addition $1,300 and due to his size it will not stay up. I have never been so angry with this business. How can you say it is wear and tear then say it's because of his size. There is nothing on your description at the store stating that your product has weight limits. And which he isn't like 500 pounds. And the fact you are telling me you will exchange it for another item that I have to pay WAY more money for is wrong. My sales representative Ish Verma, was extremely helpful in showing me a variety of sofas and chairs based on what I told him I was interested in. Since this is a large 2-floor showroom, he saved me hours of wandering around the store. He didn't try to sell me things that I was not interested in - no pressure. My husband must use a rollator to get around. He and I went to look for a recliner at Ashley because we were impressed by the Ashley furniture we saw online. We needed to be certain he was comfortable in the chair and could get out of it without difficulty. We were greeted by Ish Verma when we arrived. He was very patient and helpful as we tried one recliner after another. Unfortunately, none fit the bill, so we did not buy one. The next day we decided not to buy a recliner at all, but just a regular chair that was attractive, firm and comfortable. I felt very deceived. I specifically told them that I didn't want anything with the cheap wood planks. My bed came with them and they put my adjustable base over it. I complained immediately and the only thing they did was give me a $200 refund. If you guys were big on customer service you would have took the bed back so that I could've picked another one. What's the point of having a warranty if that part isn't covered? The adjustable base came with legs which can't be used due to the type of bed. They knew damn well that the legs couldn't be used. I am not in the furniture business so I had no idea. My bed is so high up that it's ridiculous. An extra piece was ordered for my son's bed which I am now stuck with. Ish also ordered the adjustable base that vibrates which was more money. Not one time did I say anything about wanting something that vibrates. They are all about the commission and won't listen to you. The manager Dave did his best but it was out of hand's because the big people refused to do anything. Also the delivery men are very unprofessional. How can you talk about my son's room in your language? When I called them out his response was, a lot of stuff in his room. Mind your business sir. Then the service department said that we will not do anything and that we have to keep the furniture as it is. What bothers me is there"I don't care"attitude towards my infant getting hurt. I have never witnessed such a behavior and was not expecting from such a big furniture store to have such a no care attitude towards my infants safety. I am really concerned about my infants safety and writing in this forum to have a written proof that if by chance my infant gets hurt due to the nails that are coming out of the bed or if he falls in the bed gap then only Ashley Furniture store from where I bought the furniture will be responsible. NEVER PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE! I made the mistake of purchasing the Maggie sofa with Ashley. The sofa plus delivery and warranty cost me $1020. When delivery day came the delivery guys said it could not fit into my elevator because the package came already assembled and had so much packaging on it. They refused to allow me to take the packing off to fit into my elevator and drove off with my couch. When I contacted the store they said that because an attempt was made to deliver the couch i had to repay another delivery fee and select a different couch. I said ok, i will forgo the Maggie that i loved so much and buy another couch. Big mistake! They tried to charge me $500 additional for a different couch and would not order anything from their website that was within my initial price range. They also told me that i had to select something in the store or i would have to pay the 30% fee for restocking. I searched and searched (2hrs) for something smaller to fit into my elevator anticipating that the packaging will also make it taller but I couldn't find anything in store only online. We have no bed to sleep on and have no knowledge when they will come back to finish the assembly. I'm gonna be honest, Ish came on way too strong for me. The other reviews say he's professional, but for me he was too familiar. When he was showing me a pull out bed he insisted I lay down to show me the head of the bed can be propped up. Cool feature but I felt incredibly uncomfortable so I didn't really care. He definitely could have shown me that without insisting I lay on the bed. He also insisted I let him show me the "magic" chairs, even though I told him that's not what I was interested in. He showed me how the chair can be leaned all the way back and again I just felt very vulnerable and uncomfortable. Then while he was showing me other features of the chairs, he was trying to kinda simulate a night on the couch with my husband. Again, too familiar for a woman on her own. Finally he started showing me a lot of pictures of his family enjoying the electric lounge chairs, for something I specifically said I wasn't interested in. Maybe some people appreciate this, but I was on my own and it just creeped me out. Ish should practice reading the customers and recognizing what they are or aren't comfortable with. Answered any questions I had and provided me with other options I may have not considered prior to my visit. No one bothered me too much and I was able to browse the store for as long as I needed. Ahmad was very nice and had superior customer service. I was looking for something modern and I found exactly what I wanted. He even pulled apart the sectional pieces right in front of me to show me how I could customize my living room furniture. He was extremely knowledgeable about each furniture piece. Avoid this store, the collection is good and sales dept. will say all the right things you want to hear, but that also includes lies to get the sale done. In our case, we went in and shopped for the living room, bedroom. Got a good offer and was promised to get everything delivered on the requested date. Then comes the payment and invoice, here's where it gets tricky, even though they verbally agreed to our delivery requirement, their invoice gives a very broad range of 8-12 weeks, we specifically pointed this out and were told not to worry and this is standard documentation. We called them the next week to confirm everything and that's when things started going downhill, they said they're waiting for 1 item and would call us back, after few days we had to follow up, its still the same thing, then again after couple of days they said the delivery will be done next week i.e. the requested delivery date and should wait for their call to get the specifics, we were happy to listen to this. But to our horror, they never called, when we called that day their customer rep mentioned they said the items would be delivered to their local warehouse and not the apt ! I mean this is a joke, they would just say anything and lie to your face to buy time and keep fooling you around. As a last resort we had to go back to the store and the only thing that worked was the refund process, they did refund but the loss of time and countless minutes on the call was just not worth it. We had ordered the furniture as we had guests coming in, had to change the plan and it was all very inconvenient. My strong suggestion is just don't visit this store, don't trust the sales guy, and anyone assisting you that day. They'll say anything to get your business. They will NEVER call you or follow up, you have to keep calling them to get the status of the order. Lastly, read everything you sign, they may promise you a particular delivery day/week, but will make you sign a generic form and then point out that document saying you signed for it.
