Purchased a power recliner, with the extended warranty, in August 2022. Now 6 months later I have a big rip on the seat and the back of the recliner is slanted and is getting worse everyday. After calling customer service a few times, I finally got a Service Technician to come out (they messed up the day and time of the appointment twice), and he did nothing, Said the rip is not manufacturer defect, even though it is clear that the material is cheap. And at first said there is a tilt to the back and fluffed up the armrest and said it was better. I argued with him about the tilt and he said I need to talk to the Extended Warranty company. Ashley will NOT replace this defective chair and that the warranty company needs to repair it. I said how are they going to replace a rip, and he said they send out new fabri. Now I have to wait 3 days for the Warranty people to coordinate with their do nothing Technician, I am getting the run around and highly doubt this chair is going to be fixed. Start to finish its been a nightmare, product made in Vietnam, as soon as they took the plastic off the sectional the smell was overwhelming and I had to get my inhaler. I tried to refuse the order and the delivery people said I would have to call customer service, I signed the delivery ticket with protest. While I appreciated being "followed" when looking I learned after my decision was made the salesperson needed more training. At the point of purchase there were so many questions, from her to other staff, who didn't appear too happy to help her. Then when it was delivered, five out of the six chairs had issues. Delivery team (who stunk up my house with their BO- obviously being pushed to deliver too many items in any given day) informed me since they didn't assemble the chairs I would have to call for a technician. More weeks gone. He came. Took pictures of the same things I snapped and sent in, then ordered replacement parts... that were sent to my home! I was expected to open and inspect those parts and if I needed a technician to replace, give them a call! Who does it this way? They do. Fast forward to parts being delivered, I open one and assume they're all good (not knowing what was actually ordered made it difficult). Nope. Technician came and I opened the big box only to find it wasn't even from them, which meant parts are now missing and will need to be reordered. For yet another technician to come and replace. I am beyond frustrated. I ordered a brand new bedroom set and one of the items was delivered broken. After sending photos and making several phone calls, they told me a replacement would arrive today. I called again because I did not receive a phone call to confirm the time. After sitting on hold and talking to an agent for over one hour, I am now told they are sending out a technician to determine whether they can fix it or not in two more weeks. I purchased two living room sets, 2 mattresses, bunk beds, a bedroom set and this is the response I was given when it took three times to deliver the bedroom furniture due to damage. I called and reported a claim that on the 3rd try delivering the bedroom furniture, the claims department asked me to provide photos of where the dolly they rolled into my bedroom cracked my brand new flooring. Price Match NOT! Do Not shop at Fairfield Ashley Homestore! I worked with William Ross. He was very helpful but the store and customer service line leaves Sooo much to be desired, sadly. I emailed Ashley and they do not price match fairly. They want you to use only 5 companies. Three of the 5 dont have the items in stock. The two that do only had certain items not all the items. Those items are priced almost the same and they were sold by Ashley!! I told them about it and it took three agents to tell me to go to the store where I got it. It's a gimmick. I should be able to get the price match with any agent, online or in-store. On the same day of delivery, the nightstand bottom drawer broke!! They would not take it back because the drawer was fine after delivery according to them and I didnt purchase their highly expensive insurance!! My sister ordered a bed with remote....why are we still waiting on the remote and she bought the bed in June 2018?? Shopping Experience from HELL!!!!!!!! (this is really ZERO stars you have to put 1 to post) I am writing to share my horrible shopping experience with Ashley Furniture Store. In January 2019, my husband and I purchased $4,000 worth of furniture from the Ashley Furniture showroom in Fairfield, CA. At that time we were informed that a few items were on back order. We explained that we work multiple jobs and requested that everything be held for delivery all at the same time. Their salesperson assured us our request would not be an issue. In March, 2019, we are notified, via text, that a delivery was scheduled for the very next day. Because a time was not provided, I called to inquire about the scheduled time. The representative was very rude and told me that upon signing the purchase contract we had agreed to be available all day anytime Ashley scheduled an appointment. I then demanded a supervisor, as this was unreasonable, but was told the supervisor was unavailable and would call me back. To date I have not heard from a supervisor. The delivery we received was a sofa and vanity table (which was put together backward by their delivery person.) The next day we returned to the store to discuss the matter with the salesperson, who turned us over to customer service. The customer service representative pretty much ignored us so I requested a manager. We sat there in the store for over 45 minutes waiting for the manager, who refused to come and talk to us. After walking around I could hear the salesperson pleading with the manager to meet with us, but to no avail; I heard him say "get rid of them, I don't want to talk to them". The manager finally came to speak to us, but was very rude and aggressive. We requested a discount for the inconvenience and was told no because our items were sale items. I continued to insist on a discount but was only offered a $100 gift card, redeemable on the next full value purchase. Since March 2019, we've had deliveries twice a month up until July 20, 2019. To date, my vanity and dining room tables are still damaged; and according to the repair person who came out on May 17, 2019, both tables are not repairable and needed replacing. He also indicated that all 4 chairs needed to be cleaned or replaced as they too were soiled. At the final delivery in July 2019, the driver arrived with only 1 dining room chair (instead of 4), which had a large black stain on it. He said he also had a replacement table for me, which was also damaged and discolored. I requested that the driver take pictures of the damaged table and dirty chairs for dispatch and was told not to "worry someone will be in touch". Today date, I have not heard from anyone and my issues have yet to be resolved!! In the end, we fixed the vanity ourselves, our dining room table has yet to be replaced (as it has dried spray paint stains), our chairs are filthy, we have no kitchen table, as it was destroyed and taken away by their driver in July 2019. We are furious!! We had to postpone our 10th wedding anniversary celebration dinner, as we had no dining room table; our children have no kitchen table because it has been over a month since our table was destroyed by their driver. We have yet to receive a credit for the kitchen table. The store as the Manager Perry and the Regional Manager Gary Donovan has been made it crystal clear with the empty promises; that customer satisfaction and resolution is not on their priority list. We had thanksgiving with no Kitchen table, refund or a decent dining table. We regret not going to RC Wiley's!! We are at our wits end with this company. Jojo was an amazing sales person!! She was very accomodating and just listened to what we were interested in! We brought both our kids to the store not thinking it was going to take us 2 hours for the whole process. She gave them cuties and water when they started getting restless. They do price matches also and was able to get our bed frame for $250 less! The only thing that I didnt like is the price that they have posted for the mattresses. It was misleading and confusing. The manager didnt honor it so we ended up getting a lesser quality bed but still tempur pedic. During delivery day, they called when it was 10mins away and said they might have to reschedule because it was the wrong route. I got so mad because they were just a city away from us. When they came, they brought the wrong size mattress and said they were going to give us a call on the process. 3 hours later they havent called and I finally called them. The lady said that it takes 48-72hr process to see when they can bring the new one. I was livid! We took the day off for a reason! We cant just keep asking for a day off to get their shit together. I ordered a direct ship bed in a box through the Ashley furniture store, the shipment was delayed so I ended up requesting a cancellation two weeks ago and ended up paying for a different bed which was delivered and set up For me. I call today to check on my refund for the direct ship bed and TRISTAN at customer service never actually cancelled the direct ship order. Now I'm being asked to bring the bed back myself to get my money back. Everyone else was helpful, I'm just disappointed I had to deal with someone who didn't do their job when they wrote supposed to and now I'm stuck waiting on a mattress to arrive, then I'll have to drive it back to the store myself to get my refund. read more

So we got this beautiful couch from Ashley Homestore in Fairfield. We purposely got 4 recliners so the kids had nothing to argue about. When it was finally delivered(After having one part delivered that was broken) we realized that you can't use all the recliners at once. I specifically asked our sales person if we would be able to open all four at once and she assured me we would. So I called to see what they could do for us. After explaining it more than once I was told that since they all work(even if they don't work as intended when we purchased) there is nothing they will do for us. Yes we can work around the fact that we can't use all four at once but this was a big purchase for us and it seems ridiculous that we should have to do that. We need an extra seat between the wedge and one of the consoles. I was told I could drive down to the store to speak with a manager if I didn't like her answer and when I asked to wait on hold she sighed said he was very busy and then she put me on hold and I was disconnected after two minutes. After that the phone kept hanging up when I tried to call back. This is by far the worst customer service I've ever had and I will never shop there or recommend it again. Now we keep getting pushed off. Bought a very nice bed and mattress beginning of September, yes I understand everything was on back order but then I got multiple calls from the warehouse and the store telling me my items were getting delivered together only to get a last minute phone call this morning from the warehouse telling me I have to wait another 30 days for my mattress. If we're saying 3 stars is average, 2 stars seems fair. We've purchased from this store before, it was fine the first time, our bed frame arrived broken but they fixed it. This trip we came in for the current sale. We didn't feel like we were being hounded like previous trips (a plus), picked out a bedroom set and additional headboard. In a nutshell customer service here needs a big overhaul. The sales lady had to keep leaving during our transaction to check in on other customers which led to us having incorrect charges/financing terms. We clarified as we watched her and she assured us it was corrected when it wasn't. We went back inside after reviewing paperwork in the car and realized it has not been fixed and the "included" warranty was actually $150. After pointing out all of the problems, it took over an hour, managers saying "I don't know how to do that", "there was miscommunication" and "I'm not sure how to do that", the salesperson saying "so you cannot afford the extra cost for that financing?" when we said we wanted it changed to the advertised promotion and all of my patience to get things settled to how they should have been in the first place. I get they are busy and have a lot of customers but customer service should not be compromised. Buying furniture should not be this complicated. We have learned our lesson and will not be shopping here again. read more

Liars!! I was sold a warranty with them. I was told they would clean the furniture, and any repairs needed. When I called to have someone come and clean it, and fix the rip the company then dents helping due to it not being g specified in the description. I would have of saved my money. We purchased the largest sectional offered in the fall of 2017. We love the look, design and color. Unfortunately looks are deceiving! The couch began breaking down after a year or so and making embarrassing loud creaking sounds. We had Ashley send out a repair person in the fall of 2021 and his "repair" did nothing to resolve the issue. We financed the couch for 12 months. They advertise 6 year financing- well ours barely made it past our 12 month financing before we had issues. I believe Ashley owes us a new couch because this is unacceptable. I was worried about buying there. We had our Scandanavian Design furniture for almost 20 years before the frame began breaking down a bit but it never creaked! Do not believe them if they say you can cancel an order even if it is less then 24 hours, if they take your money you will never get it back even if they say you will! We placed an order in July and needed it quickly. We were told we had to buy it and the next day they could determine the delivery date, $700 on my Ashley credit and $150 debit card. If the delivery date was too far out, they would cancel the order and we would get our money back. WRONG!! They called the next day with a delivery day too far out, we said cancel the order and they said no problem. They forgot to mention we would never get our money back and would also never get the furniture. It is now November never have received a credit after bi-weekly calls and promises. The charge is still pending on my Ashley card and I have not been given our cash back. I guess the next step is having to go legal methods and charge them for whatever that costs! read more

Their lack of empathy and professionalism is very disturbing that they work with people on a regular basis. They sold me couches that I had to return and I'm still paying for them. They never canceled my order. Employee contacted me yesterday saying that the sofas were available for sale so I went to go try and purchase them when I found out they're still my order that was supposed to be canceled wasn't canceled and since they were just now canceling it, I couldn't use my financing. So they told me I had to come back the next day I think, googled and saw that there was other forms of financing, I sat there for 20 minutes to fill out the application just for them when I was done oh we can't take that payment. I came back the next day because they told me that they were closed just for me to fill out the application again and at the very end to say put me on the phone with the regional manager Chris and say you're actually making us uncomfortable and we're not gonna sell these to you. I'm super frustrated with all the time that they've wasted they know that I live a few cities away and I have to cross the toll bridge and they still told me to come back for them to tell me know the manager was saying that I was making them uncomfortable when they had no solution to fix my problem and charge me for items that I don't have. Couple times said that it was canceled and it still wasn't canceled being charged so now I paid for two months of these items and I still have no items in my home.. yeah and they have no get the items I had to solution. even then they wouldn't take my money and waste more time. Avoid this location at all cost. On May, 23rd, 2023 we entered the store and worked with Pooja, a sales associate. First thing we noticed was she that was completely condescending and rude but still worked with her because it was later in the afternoon and were ready to purchase. We decided on a full bedroom set and a coffee table. When it came to down to delivery, we were told by Pooja that it would be $350. She told us either accept their premium delivery with installation or pick up the room ourselves. She never mentioned there is a free delivery option but with no installation. That option is also available online and would have definitely taken that option and installed the room ourselves. It honestly felt as if we were conned because there is a free delivery option without installation. Now, the coffee table in store was $499 but online it was $449 so we lost another $50. Finally, we had multiple Ashley discount codes and she refused to input them. She claimed that it's other companies claiming to use Ashley's name. It's a shame that a sales associate would go to lengths to deceive customers just for a commission. Very unethical and will escalate this to customer relations until my issues are resolved. I was looking for a couch and found a decent one that was fairly nice. I go to buy it and it was all smooth until I was asked about 20 times if I wanted warranty or not. I said no every single time. Manager came over to override or something and he's asking about it even more. Manager leaves and the sales associate brings it up at least 3 more times. Like what do they not get? I don't wanna pay an extra $100 for a warranty. And I trusted them with all my heart, went to purchase, guy does not repeat the order, and takes my debit card out of my hand and swipes it. That was the second sofa we purchased from them and the order upon delivery wasn't complete. They forgot the pillows again. We went back to the store to fix the problem and it took 2 hrs just to reorder pillows. Trying to find the perfect furniture can be frustrating, but Ashley Furniture has a wide variety to choose from. The only downside to coming to this store is everything, and I mean everything, is more expensive compared to the company website. I would highly suggest checking out the furniture you want at the store and then ordering it online! My husband and I learned the hard way. We came in on Black Friday and had a 40% off coupon, and we think we were getting an amazing deal! But a few days later, I decided to take a look on their website and saw that the stuff we purchased were so much cheaper! Huge difference. Plus we were able to use the 10% discount they were offering on the website, plus 4% cash back on Ebates. Can't beat that. Once I figured that out, we went back to the store and cancelled our original order. They were going to price match the online price, but couldn't honor the extra 10% and 4% and only offered 6 month no financing rather than the 18-24 month option. The workers were trying to talk us out of ordering online and said that delivery can be an issue, but we took a chance. We received all our stuff yesterday and everything looks great and the guys that delivered everything were fast and efficient. However, the store associate, Derek, was great. He answered all our questions. It's just the 30-45% mark up is ridiculous! Always double check their website before purchasing online! Either price match or just order online. Poor customer service! The woman who assisted me was terrible. She did not greet me upon walking in. She did not respect the fact that I wanted to browse by myself as she continued to follow me around the store. After showing her my item of interest found online she continued to tell me the type of material was fabric after informing her that the online details were "faux leather". She was on her phone. She told me the items were "40%" off if purchased with cash and 50% off purchased with financing. The next day I came back to check the availability of an item I seen. I did not ask the woman because she was rude, annoying and did not respect anything I said to her. The guy who followed me to the item I was interested said that all items were 50% off whether paid by cash or finance and that the woman the night before had been trying to get her sale. She let me know the availability and said it would not be available until Feb. He showed me another item avail able to take home today which happen to be an item I did show interest in since I seen it online. I was concerned that the item would not fit in my space as I had to downsize and move into a small space with a smaller living room. He tried convincing me it would fit after showing him the layout and mentioned to just order and if it didn't fit I could cancel. I let him know I'd like to measure my living space then come back to order and he completely walked away from. I could not believe it. He didn't even say thank you or even walk me out. I'm writing this review a little early. I guess I should have looked at Yelp reviews on this store before I purchased from here. Ugh. Now I'm scared. My surprise sofa sectional for my son is scheduled for delivery on Wednesday Oct 27, 2021. I wanted to reschedule for the following week and called twice. First time I was 101 in line!! The second time, 200 plus. So I went online to their MESSAGE US to reschedule. Well, I don't know why they even have that if no one will EVER answer you. My now concern is how is this sofa even going to look and will it even last? I will review again after he gets his sofa. Maybe I should have went with Living Spaces after all. I don't know. I honestly regret buying from this store but large furniture stores are so far and few in between. The sales people come off so great when you're at the store but then they make all these promises and give you these great speeches that they never intend to stand by. The follow up is beyond non-existent. Don't expect to get help after the fact, even when they promise it to you. I bought a tempurpedic with an adjustable base that I had to jump through hoops just to get the base fixed which took what seemed like forever. Sales agent gave me her cell phone number. Told me to go through her if I had any issues so that she could save me the time instead of being stuck dealing with those 800 numbers. But when I contacted her after the fact, she referred me back to the 800 numbers. Any other issues I experienced she'd either tell me she'd get back to me later, with zero intention to follow up, or just didn't respond. The actual customer service lines weren't any better. Pretty sure I ended up with the wrong bed, which costs a fortunate and now I can't return it. Had I bought through tempurpedic directly, I would've had 90 days. Through Ashley's, once it's bought, there are no returns which is crazy for something this expensive. Never again. Purchased a lift chair for my elder father. Payment and delivery scheduling was easy and the process was pretty straightforward. That was until the actual delivery. Ashley Homestore contracts outside companies to deliver - which means they don't care how the experience goes. And they literally said that. The guys show up to my house without masks and I tell them they're going to need to put one on in order to enter the house. One guy says, "we don't have masks so either you want it or you don't. I found a perfect coffee table on Ashleys website and decided to give them a call and see if its was available in store before I make a long trip. So I couldn't get anybody at actual store to tell me after several long holds on the phone...after little bit of a web surfing I found exact table on eBay from one of Ashleys authorized suppliers for way less money, I called store again to see if they would price match it, i was told no. Long story short ordered from eBay instead, better price,arival time 3 weeks earlier too !! read more

Horrible, the worst experience I've ever had with a retailer!!! Do NOT step foot inside any Ashley store! The worst customer service. Will not return damaged furniture that was caused by them. They have a NO RETURN policy, even if the item is damaged. They make you take an exchange. After you see the quality, you'll want to return your items too, but you'll be out probably thousands and they don't give a damn!!! I'd give them negative starts if I could. I am taking them to small claims and will add to my post with the outcome. More comments I've been trying to resolve these problems with Ashley so I don't have to take them to Small Claims, but after months of working with my bank and Ashley, I just can't get anywhere!!! If I could give them no stars I would. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE they employ people that have no clue what they are doing. I bought a couch and loveseat. Had to pay in 2 transactions cause the girl had no clue what she was doing. Got a text 3 days before delivery telling the "system" refunded my money and I needed to be there by 5pm today! I work full time and no way I could be there. When I called and told them the money HAS NOT been refunded to my account, she stated it may be pending! Well I'm sorry I don't have an extra 2000 dollars laying around. So I cancelled my order!!!!! This is not the first time either! BUYER BEWARE IS ALL I CAN SAY! read more
