Scandinavian Design furniture in Vacaville, CA., This is one of my favorite furniture shops. The design aesthetic is modern Scandinavian - minimalist, simple, stylish and functional but with quality materials and craftsmanship. If you like midcentury American style, you may like this style as well. I find it to have similarities. But get this... the pricing is even cheaper than majority of the scratch n ding furniture outlets (RH and WS) and comparable to the others. Before you pay more for a scratch n dent, check out Scandinavian Designs. The showroom is in a beautiful stand alone building with its own parking lot. It's easy and quick to get to off Interstate 80. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. No hard selling and following eyes. The showroom is beautifully staged and customers are encouraged to sit n test. The square footage is impressive. Lots of inventory.- bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, and office furniture; lighting, bedding, rugs, and art/home decor. One side is the showroom that had "final as is" furniture sales including home decor items (art work, vases, figurines, etc). On my last visit, they had bird figurines marked $5. read more

Each time we visited the store, we were always greeted with warm and friendly smiles from Kai and Angie who helped us with every purchase we have made. Not only are the items beautiful, shipping and handling were excellent as well! Unlike other furniture retailers, we didn't have to wait long for our items and the prices are justified. We had been on the hunt for a new sofa and we decided to check out Scandinavian Designs. We always got the impression that this place is pricey but we were pleasantly surprised to find furniture pieces that are chic, comfortable and reasonably priced! When we walked in the door, we were greeted by Joshua. He showed us several pieces that fit what we're looking for. He gave us time to sit around and get a feel of the furniture. He was attentive, informational but we never felt pressured by him. We ended up purchasing a sofa that day. Definitely a new favorite place to browse for furniture! read more

I had a house fire in July of 23 and needed new everything. I shopped others retail furniture stores (small and large) but loved the design options of the furniture and price points at SD. I have visited other SD locations but the Vacaville store has the best sales reps and customer service. I have bought many pieces (some custom orders) and accessories from SD and Angie and Kai have been exceptional every time! Friendly, kind, low pressure, educated about their products, and they follow thru on my orders so they always have an answer ready for me when needed. Absolutely devastated. I took my time to shop around for the best deal and decided on what would've been my second purchase from SD. I was very pleased with the price point and the ease of the purchase via phone then email with Angie. I paid in advance, covering delivery and assembly. The delivery date was confirmed and I was EXCITED; until I got a call saying the item (I purchased) was sold out and not available. Kai called me sounding pretty casual about this, he did apologize but didn't seem too concerned about how this mind boggling error would affect me or Scandinavian's reputation. I'm waiting to get a full refund. What an EPIC waste of time. read more

We stopped here on our way back from a trip to Napa (it's right off the 1-80 freeway) and it has become our most favorite furniture store. The prices are amazingly reasonable for the quality of what you get - a step up from IKEA by a lot - with prices that are a lot better than West Elm and Pottery Barn. In the past year, we have bought an extendable dining table, dining chairs, swivel chair and coffee table - all have been great quality and have no regrets. Note that you may need to wait a while for furniture to arrive after you order it - but they willl call you when it's ready to be picked up. Added plus, the showroom is lovely. read more

What can be said about the Vacaville Scandinavian team. It all starts with great service and Angie has it! She is patient , knowledgeable and courteous. I have spent several months in the store refurnishing areas in my home as well as my Grandmother's. They had in stock two dining tables we were interested in while the three Sacramento area locations were all out of stock and wouldn't have it for several weeks (we called and went to all three). Customer service here was great. Pick-up was easy; they had it ready by the back door and basically put it in the car for us/without any help from us. Walked in, both associates were at the front desk on their devices, they failed to even acknowledge us- didn't greet us or ask us if we needed assistance. There were several people in the store and the associates failed to greet or provide assistance to any of us. We generally like to shop at Scandinavian Designs due to the overall quality and the great look of the furniture. Our last 3 trips to the Vacaville store we have been assisted by Angie. She helped us completely furnish our condo in 2021. Again this year, she helped us with a great outdoor coffee table and today with an accent chair for our office space. Angie clinched the deal today by pointing out that the style of the chair lends it to being able to be used anywhere in our home and we immediately agreed with this great idea. Angie always patiently listens to and understands what it is we are looking for, be it a bedroom set, couch or chair. She gets where we are coming from and points us in the right direction. As if that isn't already great customer service, she is always warm and welcoming and makes us happy for our choice to shop at Vacaville Scandinavian Designs. My first time visiting the store. It was a really nice store, a lot bigger than I thought it was. A lot more furniture on display than I anticipated. They also have a whole clearance section in the back of the store. Floor models on sale with deep discounts and they were all in really good condition. They even had really cute outdoor furniture.
