Jennifer was absolutely amazing in helping furnish my new condo in sf and she made sure my shipment made it to sf! Everything came as expected and I was so happy to hear they even gave me the generators for the couch. Also seeing over $8000+ savings for two couches, large art work, 3 bar stools was an absolute cherry on top! I will be back!! read more

Scandinavian Design furniture in Vacaville, CA., This is one of my favorite furniture shops. The design aesthetic is modern Scandinavian - minimalist, simple, stylish and functional but with quality materials and craftsmanship. If you like midcentury American style, you may like this style as well. I find it to have similarities. But get this... the pricing is even cheaper than majority of the scratch n ding furniture outlets (RH and WS) and comparable to the others. Before you pay more for a scratch n dent, check out Scandinavian Designs. The showroom is in a beautiful stand alone building with its own parking lot. It's easy and quick to get to off Interstate 80. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. No hard selling and following eyes. The showroom is beautifully staged and customers are encouraged to sit n test. The square footage is impressive. Lots of inventory.- bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, and office furniture; lighting, bedding, rugs, and art/home decor. One side is the showroom that had "final as is" furniture sales including home decor items (art work, vases, figurines, etc). On my last visit, they had bird figurines marked $5. read more

Customer service!!! There was NONE!!! Ladies too busy talking to each other to care about 3 customers in the store that could use help! I walked out after 1/2 hour of walking unattended or even acknowledged! Never has that happened before! Very disappointing!! Never again! read more

Scandinavian Designs -- my go-to furniture store and my husband's favorite spot for a stroll!!! They have a great selection of items that are of great quality and stunning designs. Each time we visited the store, we were always greeted with warm and friendly smiles from Kai and Angie who helped us with every purchase we have made. Not only are the items beautiful, shipping and handling were excellent as well! Unlike other furniture retailers, we didn't have to wait long for our items and the prices are justified. I highly recommend this place! read more

We had been on the hunt for a new sofa and we decided to check out Scandinavian Designs. We always got the impression that this place is pricey but we were pleasantly surprised to find furniture pieces that are chic, comfortable and reasonably priced! When we walked in the door, we were greeted by Joshua. He showed us several pieces that fit what we're looking for. He gave us time to sit around and get a feel of the furniture. He was attentive, informational but we never felt pressured by him. We ended up purchasing a sofa that day. Definitely a new favorite place to browse for furniture! read more

Update to the update. Scandinavian Design came through -- standing behind their product and taking this one back as it is obviously flawed. Thank you for the response. read more

Scandinavian Designs - Every piece of the set we bought is now like this in 1 week just from sitting. - Furniture Stores Near Me - Vacaville, California

We stopped here on our way back from a trip to Napa (it's right off the 1-80 freeway) and it has become our most favorite furniture store. The prices are amazingly reasonable for the quality of what you get - a step up from IKEA by a lot - with prices that are a lot better than West Elm and Pottery Barn. In the past year, we have bought an extendable dining table, dining chairs, swivel chair and coffee table - all have been great quality and have no regrets. Note that you may need to wait a while for furniture to arrive after you order it - but they willl call you when it's ready to be picked up. Added plus, the showroom is lovely. read more

I had a house fire in July of 23 and needed new everything. I shopped others retail furniture stores (small and large) but loved the design options of the furniture and price points at SD. I have visited other SD locations but the Vacaville store has the best sales reps and customer service. I have bought many pieces (some custom orders) and accessories from SD and Angie and Kai have been exceptional every time! Friendly, kind, low pressure, educated about their products, and they follow thru on my orders so they always have an answer ready for me when needed. I could go to anther SD store but without question, I go to the Vacaville location every time because of the way I am treated and the professionalism of the staff. Thank you!!! read more

Absolutely devastated. I took my time to shop around for the best deal and decided on what would've been my second purchase from SD. I was very pleased with the price point and the ease of the purchase via phone then email with Angie. I paid in advance, covering delivery and assembly. The delivery date was confirmed and I was EXCITED; until I got a call saying the item (I purchased) was sold out and not available. Kai called me sounding pretty casual about this, he did apologize but didn't seem too concerned about how this mind boggling error would affect me or Scandinavian's reputation. I'm waiting to get a full refund. What an EPIC waste of time. read more

What can be said about the Vacaville Scandinavian team. It all starts with great service and Angie has it! She is patient , knowledgeable and courteous. I have spent several months in the store refurnishing areas in my home as well as my Grandmother's. She has great attention to detail and engages with the customer in a manner to know their likes and limits it has supported her to meet the mark of expectation when showing product as well as providing decoration ideas that worked. Kai is great and addresses all needs in a timely matter. He leads an awesome team!! Looking for a store where you the customer is valued go down to Vacaville Scandinavian Design. read more

This location seems to have more items in stock than other stores. They had in stock two dining tables we were interested in while the three Sacramento area locations were all out of stock and wouldn't have it for several weeks (we called and went to all three). Customer service here was great. Pick-up was easy; they had it ready by the back door and basically put it in the car for us/without any help from us. And the table is beautiful and in perfect new condition! read more

I absolutely love Scandinavian designs. It has been my go-to place for furniture for two drcades.

We have been to other Scandinavian Designs stores in California but we found the most collection in the Vacaville store. Our customer rep, Kris, helped us select the right furniture, gave great design advice, and helped us with our orders and scheduling the deliveries. Even though we live in East Bay Area, we still make our orders through Kris from the Vacaville store because of her awesome customer service! read more

Beautiful furniture, high quality wood and construction. We love the leather chair we got!

Excellent service from the whole team. Our table was easy to put together. Would definitely buy from them again .

Scandinavian Designs is a quality furniture store with great inventory and staff. Our experience with Kris was especially satisfying, not only due to her extensive knowledge of the fine furniture in stock and on the way, but more importantly, her gentle way of determining what we wanted/needed and guiding us in that direction via questions and suggestions as well as pointing out alternative choices if needed. We looked at the remarkable inventory of recliners, chairs, sofas, dining room furniture, etc., as well as the discounted floor model section. You can't do better than asking for Kris when you call for information or come in person. read more

We generally like to shop at Scandinavian Designs due to the overall quality and the great look of the furniture. Our last 3 trips to the Vacaville store we have been assisted by Angie. She helped us completely furnish our condo in 2021. Again this year, she helped us with a great outdoor coffee table and today with an accent chair for our office space. Angie clinched the deal today by pointing out that the style of the chair lends it to being able to be used anywhere in our home and we immediately agreed with this great idea. Angie always patiently listens to and understands what it is we are looking for, be it a bedroom set, couch or chair. She gets where we are coming from and points us in the right direction. As if that isn't already great customer service, she is always warm and welcoming and makes us happy for our choice to shop at Vacaville Scandinavian Designs. During our visit today, Kai also greeted us, chatted with us, and made us feel welcome. read more

I highly recommend working with Kai. He is very knowledgeable and accommodating. I am the type of shopper who does not like to be smothered by attention from the sales associates. But, Kai was so pleasant to work with, allowing us to shop on our own and being available whenever we needed. The level of professionalism he showed is the exact reason why I have recommended him to my friends and colleagues. Although I will no longer be in Vacaville, I will definitely be back for my additional furniture shopping needs through Kai every chance I get. Thank you Kai! read more

We've never felt so welcomed in a store before that felt so genuine. The sale items were all in absolute great condition with great prices.
