I was in the market for a new mattress. I visited a few places checking out prices. After all was said and done, I purchased a king-size Beauty Rest from them. David, there was extremely professional and courteous. We got an amazing price and most importantly there was not any pressure to buy, unlike other places I visited. Delivery was also superb. The delivery guys had it upstairs and on the bed frame in no time. They were in and out in less than 5 min. I highly recommend stopping in and checking them out if you are in the market for anything bed related. I will be for sure going back if I am ever in the market for bedding again. read more

Had the pleasure of meeting Jim at the Home Show. He was knowledgeable, kind, and honestly, just a nice guy. He sat and talked to me at my level (I'm in a Powerchair) and never made me feel rushed or dumb. He answered every question and never gave me the pushy salesman routine. Prior to meeting Jim, I mentioned that buying tickets to the home show was like buying a ticket to be harassed by pushy salesman who didn't care about my needs. I was pondering purchasing a new mattress, but had no interest in doing so at the Home Show. Jim's pleasant demeanor and eagerness to let me look at what I wanted to look at while also informing me of the products, is what led me to choosing and purchasing a mattress. I highly recommend Jim to anyone looking for a mattress! read more

I very highly reccomend coming here for a mattress purchase! After going to another place with a pushy salesman we were feeling a little intimidated and defeated. The salesman here was so helpful and friendly! Most importantly he was able to work with our budget and help us find a solution. The best part was free delivery and old mattress take away. We plan to return here for all our future mattress purchase needs! read more

Matthew's Matresses are the best hands down! I shopped around for a friend once and the other places were much higher and couldn't deliver what she needed in time. We went to Matthew's and the cost, quality, service, and delivery was far above the standard. So I went back for my family and bought 3 beds the other day. Jim took such good care of us! I was in and out in 25 minutes and the beds were delivered the next day! We got a great price and the mattresses are heavenly! Highly recommended! Thank you Jim and Matthew's! read more

2nd time purchasing from Matthews Mattress. Excellent customer service. I also felt the pricing was much better than the competition. I bought a queen mattress and adjustable bed. The delivery and service was also seamless! read more

No haggle, no pressure, no upselling. Walked in, told Tony what we were looking for and our price range. He made it happen and we walked out with a great mattress. Would recommend Matthews to anyone needing a new mattress. read more

My parents have been coming here for many years and everytime they have gotten a good deal and a great mattress. I came in with my Mom (this was the first time she has made such a big purchase since my Dad passed away) on Friday June 26th and the salesman was very nice and helpful. He helped us pick out a great mattress which was so much quicker and easier than I expected. He made the whole experience effortless for her which I so appreciate . They haveVery reasonable prices along with great service and great products. You cant go wrong shopping here. read more

When we first started looking for a mattress we started at big, well-known chain and we just didn't find their selection or prices to be that great. Although we didn't want to shop around as it was 113 outside the day we went, I am so thankful we did because we found Matthews Mattress. When we first walked in I was shocked by the large showroom and variety of products that the other store just didn't have. We were immediately greeted, given some time to look around ourselves, then we were able to seek out help right away. We never felt pressured to buy, or like we were being steered to a more expensive product outside of our budget. The entire experience was flawless, pain free and easy. We had our mattress delivered the same night we bought it and we couldn't be happier! I wish I remembered who helped us because the two gentlemen were so nice and helpful but I am terrible with names. I would definitely recommend this place! Even if you're just shopping around, go check out this fantastic, local, family owned business! read more

What a blessing!! I was researching the sleep number. Came across a lot of negative reviews though. Super expensive but not well rated. So I kept looking. I read Matthews Mattress reviews and was very impressed. I walked in and Bill helped me. What a beautiful person with wonderful mattress and bed options! I got an amazing deal on a bed that competes with the sleep number for less than half price. If you are looking for a new mattress of quality and want to deal with a highly ethical business, go see Bill! Both Bill and my wonderful new bed are a wonderful addition to my family!! We went to Sleep Number Bed and Tempur-Pedic stores but we end up buying our Tempur-Pedic Pro Breeze in MATTHEW'S MATTRESS because of the excellent customer service that we've received from JIM!! Jim gave us a great deal, plus for extra bonus, he gave us free mattress protector and memory foam pillows (wherein Sleep Number and Tempur-Pedic was charging us $400 for these stuffs)!! In addition, I heard about Matthew's Mattress because my friend Danyea from Budget Blinds highly recommended it to me! So now, I'm recommending it to you! I encourage everyone to support your local small business and buy your bed/mattress in MATTHEW'S MATTRESS, you won't regret it, I guarantee! ;) read more

Have you ever had a feeling where everything is to good to be true for something to not go wrong. That was my feeling with this place and my purchase the sales staff was not pushy in fact there was just one older gentlemen named Bill I was able to lay on all of the different mattresses untill I found the one I was in love with! They were having a sale for presidents day he also gave me an extra discount. I was suprised to find out that I could get financed with 12 months same as cash and they had free same day delivery. I wasn't ready to get my mattress the same day so I made an early appointment for the next day I was very nervous that they were not going to be there within my appointment like most furniture companies so I called to double check less then 5 minutes later the delivery guys were there and quickly delivered my mattress Needless to say I am very impressed with this business not only were their prices great but also their customer service the first purchase in a long time that I did not have buyer remorse Thank you matthews mattress will refer all of my friends! read more

I needed a new mattress so I went to Matthews mattress.. Patrick was awesome he gave me a good deal on a mattress that I can't wait to arrive this week.. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone I know looking for a mattress.. Best place in town read more

Horrible Horrible Horrible warranty coverage. Our mattress less than 2 yrs old. Starting major sagging withing 2 months. Let it go u til we realized we had a 10 year warranty. They came and checked it. Dips were measured at 2 and 1/4 inches. Like sleeping in a valley. Only to be told there was a SMALL stain less than the size of a quarter. That voided the warranty. Was never ever offered to purchase a mattress cover at time of sale. Or we were never ever told that something like that would void a warranty t. TOTAL BULLSHIT. WOULD NEVER EVER EVER buy from these people again. You have been warned. SLEEP BROKERS BEST IN VACAVILLE. Rant over. A 1400 Hundred dollar mattress should last longer than 2 years. And a Beauty Rest. Not a cheapie mattress at all. ... read more

This store has the absolute best customer service! I wanted an expensive mattress that was way over my budget, instead of pressuring me the sales employee showed me a mattress in my price range that was comfortable and good quality. I went to another larger chain before here and was shown all this " great financing" options! The sales people pushed mattresses that were not in my budget and tried to make me feel like I was dumb to go with anything else. I will return here to buy in the future. I am happy with my choice and did not have a large bill that I would be paying off into 2020! Plus side, they delivered same day! read more

Just purchased a new mattress here and I couldn't be happier! Matthews Mattress has a HUGE in-store selection. My biggest concern was my budget ($300-500). I shopped elsewhere and they did not have much for me to look at in this price range. Here, I had several mattresses to choose from (and many name brand like Serta and Beautyrest). I'm also very indecisive when it comes to big purchases, so Jim let me take my time to decide which mattress was right for me. Once I had decided, he rang me up in about five minutes. I got free delivery, too! I would highly recommend this store to anyone in need of a new mattress! read more

My wife and I highly recommend this place for your mattress needs. The reason is their no pressure customer sales and wide variety of mattresses to meet everyone's needs. I had an absolutely wonderful experience today at Matthews Mattress! I called ahead of time to inquire about a mattress, and Jim was extremely knowledgeable about products and pricing. He didn't even have to look anything up, he just knew instantly like he had been anticipating my call! When I got there, he was friendly, followed all of the social distancing rules with masks, and loaded the mattress into my car. I was in and out in less than five minutes!! I loved that I was able to go in person to buy a mattress that I can use TONIGHT vs the lengthy process of buying online, waiting 2 weeks, then having to wait several days for it to fluff up/inflate and get rid of the weird smell. I wanted to get this done and I did! I definitely advise just going in person and buying a mattress, it's so much quicker and easier. Anyhow, thank you so much for your help today Jim, you deserve a promotion! read more

I can't say enough about the customer service here. TOP NOTCH! The delivery men were right on time too! Jim really seemed to care about my needs and helped me pick out the perfect mattress for me. Not the most expensive one either. read more

David was very patience and understanding when it came to answering our questions, our experience could be no better!

Thank you Bill! This was our third purchase of a mattress from Matthews. I do see a reason to go anywhere else. The price was fantastic. Bill is so very nice to work with and gave us the best price! I'm a world where dishonesty can run rampant just to make a sale, it's nice to know there is an honest company with honest sales people. When I need another mattress set you can bet I will come back and visit Bill and buy from Matthews Mattress. read more

Had a very pleasant experience today at Matthew's Mattress in Vacaville! Thank you to Jim for being very helpful and not at all pushy when it came to selling. He answered all of my questions and let me take my time while I went back and forth and back and forth from bed to bed. I am looking forward to my new bed arriving!! Thanks, Jim! :) read more

Just got home from buying a mattress set and bed frame from Matthews mattress. I had been to all of the other places today and they just didn't have anything I really liked. Bill Holland helped me out and gave me a good deal. read more

Matthews Mattress is great at selling you a bed. Heaven forbid you should want to return something. They do not have a return policy displayed. By state law, they have to take something back if they don't have a return policy displayed. I wanted to return an adjustable foundation. Bill was very nasty about the whole business. I called him on a weekend and he said "we're really busy now, can you call back on Wednesday? Really, what business does that? I went into the store on Wednesday, after being told by another sales rep that the item was not refundable. I asked to see their return policy, and Bill said "why do you want to be like that?" He finally agreed to take the item back, but I think only because he knew the store wasn't following state law I wouldn't go there again.... read more

Wow! What a great experience! This store was more pleasant to be in than any others we tried in the area including sleep train, mancini's, keetsa, even the BX. Bill Holland gave us a great deal ( we saved over $600 from the same mattress and amenities at Mattress Discounters). I'm so glad my friends recommended we come here! read more

Had a great experience shopping here! No pressure or pushy practices here. The sale rep was very helpful and genuinely concerned about getting a great mattress for our daughter who has had a spinal fusion. He was able to help us get a better mattress then we ever thought we could afford. We found such a great deal we were able to buy two new mattresses, one for our daughter and one for us! We have had the beds about two weeks and LOVE them!! Thanks Matthews Mattress read more

Purchased a mattress here for my son and the experience was wonderful. After looking at Sleep Train and how overpriced their mattresses were, we stopped in Matthew's and Bill was very helpful. We told him our budget for a mattress only (no box spring) and he had some in our price range, unlike Sleep Train. He even knocked some $ off of the price for us. We got free next day delivery, set up and they even took away my son's old mattress. Bill was very helpful, personable and he made the experience very quick and painless. Next time I am in the market for a new mattress I will definitely be returning to Matthew's Mattress. I highly recommend this store. read more

Walked in to "just look" and are now walking out with a brand new king size mattress, box spring, AND bed frame for less than $1,000. Are you kidding me? Our budget was $1,000 just for the mattress alone. Y'all, I can't be more happy. I never write yelp reviews but I couldn't NOT write one for Bill. He was so sweet and happy to help us. If you're looking for a new bed PLEASE consider coming to Matthews Mattress. You will not be disappointed. - J read more

A few years ago my wife and I went in here to buy our first mattress together. Bill was a great help and even told us to come back in a few days when the mattress would be on sale. We bought a tempurpedic mattress which we continue to love. A few days ago our son was ready for his first "big kid bed" so we when and looked at beds. Bill was really nice and after taking my sons shoes off he walked us around and let my son test out some beds. The bed we got my son was marketed down 50% and my son seems to really love it (he's two). The bed came with a box spring that made the bed too tall for my son. I called the store and Jim was really helpful, and they exchanged my box spring for a thinner bunky board. Best part is they didn't charge me for delivery or the exchange. read more

My mother decided to help me out with a new bed for my birthday so we went bed shopping one weekend and ended up talking to a really nice older gentleman named, Bill. He was very personable and patient with us as we perused his merchandise and when my mother mentioned it was for my birthday he was kind enough to add a modest discount for the occasion. We actually only visited one store that day and was easily swayed to purchase from the Vacaville location. read more
