I was looking for a bedroom set that was available and they told me told me it'll be delivery in 1 week which it took two months to get it, and also to compensate that i had a bed frame and a nightstand for "free" which I ended up paying for everything so when i call back they told me can't do anything. We purchased furniture and a pieces of wall art. Got a call today saying the wall art is discontinued, they took our money for something they didn't have. This is my update after getting my Serta queen size Mattress. I must admit the mattress feels better than what I have replaced. But as stated in my earlier review, I don't think customers should have to wait for over two weeks to get merchandise (especially something really needed, like a mattress) With all the Ashleys nationwide there should be a local warehouse that they can get merchandise from, maybe could cut down on waits?? If this could be a negative review it would be! Don't use CAT as your sales person either. On July 3, 2022 we ordered furniture having to sign a paper to allow 8-12 weeks delivery. Basically don't contact before or inquire otherwise. It's now been 18 weeks (nov 2) and no answer. They have delayed delivery 4x. And it's ok cuz that's how things are these days, is their excuse. They don't follow up. They don't escalate the issue. Even if you call a different CSR, no sense of urgency.. its just how things are. What kind of cheap ass company is this?! I bought a nightstand on Labor day weekend and received a damaged product the following week. I called several times the same exact day (was on hold for 27 mins) and wrote multiple emails only to receive an email weeks later (almost an entire month) stating that they would need me to have a photo shoot of some sort...pics of the product,the box,the label etc etc etc before they would even address my issue. So here I gave this company $120 for a box of wood I can't even donate to a homeless shelter and a headache. I purchased a master bedroom set from this Ashley location and it arrived on 11/4/21. One of the nightstands was damaged and there was a portion of the footboard that had some of the finish missing. The delivery guys took pictures of these areas. I took pictures as well and then called Ashley. The asked me to send them an email with the pictures. I did this immediately after the delivery guys left. So on 11/4, I sent my initial email, along with the pictures I took, and received a response from Ashley guest services indicating that I would be receiving a response from them in 7-10 days. On 11/19, having heard nothing from them, I reached out again. Still nothing so I called their customer service number and was told someone would get back to me. On 12/1, I again emailed Ashley asking if my furniture was going to be repaired and still no response. As of this writing, 12/17/21, I have received NO RESPONSE whatsoever as to when to expect my furniture to be repaired. I will NEVER purchase anything from Ashley furniture again. Pity for them since I have a new home that still needs a lot of furniture. read more

I can't give less than a 1 star. I purchased a coutch with warranty, and the parts to fix my coutch have sat in my garage since October. No one will call me or give me a date when I call them. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I ordered outdoor furniture on May 26 and paid in full at that time. The contract indicated it would be delivered in 2-6 weeks. I called the week of July 2 to check on the status and Barbara in the warehouse indicated it was delayed and should be in the warehouse on July 13. I called back July 13 to ask again and left a message for Barbara. She left a message July 16 saying it won't be in until August 26. When I called back for Barbara, Nadine asks me if no one told me it was on backorder. No one ever told me that, if they had, I would have ordered something else. Now they are telling me I have to wait two more weeks to get a full refund without penalty. This is totally unacceptable to me, summer will almost be over, I want my money back now! I should have run far away from this place after the first time setting foot into the store. Every single sales rep, and I mean, EVERY single rep was sitting on a piece of furniture looking at their phones?! Now I know why. I walked around the whole store and did find furniture I liked for my formal living room, master bedroom with box spring and mattress and a nice pub table and 4 chairs for the kitchen. All in all probably close to 6,000 dollars worth of furniture, and that price is even after all of the "discounts" the sales manager "gives" you. We all know that the prices are inflated so that it seems like your getting a great deal when they're really bringing the price down to what you really should be paying for average furniture. Let's be real, the furniture is far from being high quality pieces. After going through all the "price slashing" the admin. asst. gave me the speech of when I can expect a call in approx 3 weeks to take delivery of my new furniture. To make this not so long let me say I went through that hot fiery place below us, trying to get my furniture. After I threatened to return the pieces that had not made it to the warehouse yet (which was about 2/3 rd's of my order) and about 2.5 months later, low and behold they delivered most of the furniture. A triple dresser and nightstand drawers didn't work properly so those have to be reordered and the back of one of the kitchen chairs had to be ordered and replaced. Still waiting on the triple dresser and nightstand to come in. They told me another 5 weeks for those two pieces. Ugh My point is go somewhere else! Their furniture is not worth all this hassle and headache. read more

After I bought the furniture on 10/27, I arranged with the lady at the desk to have it delivered 10/31. I get a call two days later wanting me to schedule a delivery date as my furniture had arrived at their store. I informed them that I already had a delivery date of 10/31. Come to find out, no delivery date was entered for my furniture. For some reason, they only deliver to my area (10 minutes away from the store) every Thursday. So, I was given another delivery date of 11/7. Either the lady was too stupid to read on the computer that all delivery dates were full on 10/31 or she didn't push a few buttons to enter my delivery properly. Either way, I'll be calling back today 10/30 to try and get them to deliver tomorrow. read more

This couch unfortunately is poorly assembled. It doesn't not connect as I have had in the past with sectionals. It is constantly sliding apart and the cushions slide out. The customer service at the store and with the delivery were great, but the quality and comfort of the product are not great. read more

I will never buy from anything from Ashley ever AGAIN! My fiancée and I purchased roughly $2k sectional from there. We waited for over 2 months but we were happy when we received it. Months later, I noticed the outside major part of the frame of the sofa was broken! It was facing the wall making it very hard to see. Wood was poking through the fabric which is how I noticed it. After a phone call someone came out to assess the damage. He told us the sofa part had to be broken during delivery and was something so major, he recommended it should be replaced. My fiancée speaks to their reps to see how we can fix the problem. We find out they are going to "fix it" by taking it out of our home for two weeks. (yeah, ok nothing is two weeks with them!!!) So as I write this review I am sitting in a chair thinking I should be on my favorite part of my couch watching tv after a long hard working day! This is a complete joke and my experience isn't over yet. I called the number my fiancée did. I got hung up on because I am not authorized to speak with them. LOL. I pay for the couch and they hang up on me. I then call the Dover store in DE. I ask to speak to someone as high up as I can go. I get Joe the general manager. I explain my issue, he pretends to care as he tells me a bunch of bs. At this time I believe it all. He begins to tell me how he will look into this matter and he will call me in a few days. With exact words "I will look into it and see if I can fix the problem and help make the process faster." We had a good eight minute talk I would say. Why was I not surprised I don't hear from Joe? I call three days later Joe is busy. I call the next day leave a message name and number he's busy. I do this every other day for about 6-8 days. He always ducked me. I wait 2 weeks. I call ask for him trying not to give a name to the person who was screening the call....... WOW here's Joe. He all the sudden never got my messages. He forgot who I was. Then as I remind him, oh he remembers now. Totally different guy after I call him out on ducking me. Now at this point were going in circles. He lied to me and avoided me as soon as he could. I hung up with some not nice words. Later that night we called their reps who deals with the warranty side of their furniture. Because we were on the phone together they hung up on us saying they cant talk to me, only one person on the claim can ever be spoken to. I have never been this disrespected and mind blown! How is this the way you handle and treat loyal customers? I will find every single way to share my story. I paid full price for that sectional for it to be broken by your team and now I have half my sectional missing and you're going to patch it up. I can't believe it!!!!! I am disgusted!! read more

This is our 4th visit and purchase from Ashley in 6 months. We purchased a living room set, dining set and bunkbeds and went back today to get the last piece for the dining room. Each time we have asked for Jon because his is just awesome! Jon goes out of his way to be sure we are happy with our purchase and that we get the best price. Our furniture has been delivered with no hang ups and within the time frame we were given each time. One of the managers, Joe is always around to be sure customers are satisfied with their purchases too. Today Miasha took care of our paperwork and we were done in a short amount of time. Update - I am extremely frustrated with this company. I stand by my original review that the sales associates were very friendly and helpful. That's where it ends. I was called to set up delivery another week out (which slightly annoys me because the sales associate told me it would originally only be like a week since only 1 piece was missing) and they said delivery would be within a 4 hour window, which whatever fine I'll arrange to be home from work. But when I asked the window, they told me the driver would call me the night before to let me know. I'm sorry what? Who does this work for? I work for a living, as do most other people. I'm lucky to be able to work remotely to not use vacation time to wait on delivery but you can't even tell me what 4 hours to be there, which means I don't know if that time slot will coincidence with my meetings I need to be in attendance for, or when I need to pick my daughter up from her after school activities. Furthermore the store manager Joe wouldn't even bother coming to phone the two times I called to talk to me. Finally the woman gave me the warehouses number to call to try and set something up. Well I called them and they were unhelpful as well saying "this 4 hour window is our policy" - which again I do not mind. The problem I am having is that you won't let anyone know prior to it actually happening. The world doesn't revolve around Ashley. They also informed me that after they schedule you on a date but without a specific time; and even if you inform them a specific time conflict that will absolutely not work for you; that they can still schedule you for that specific time and if they then have to reschedule you, you are now responsible for paying ANOTHER delivery fee. So because this company doesn't want be proactive and create schedules that actually make sense for their drivers and customers they reactively take in extra fees by rescheduling. Great. I can not wait to see how my delivery goes. I will absolutely never purchase from Ashley again I just bought my 2nd set of Ashley Couches. My first set I bought 10+ years ago. We've had our eye on the Wilcot sectional for awhile so when I went in I knew exactly what I wanted. The sales associate Jameire was helpful. He didn't oversell me, didn't pressure me and didn't put me through the back and forth haggling like I was buying a car. I just recently purchased a living room set from here. The salesman was great very helpful not too pushy. We had to wait about a month for it all to be delivered but it was within the time frame promised. The delivery was great, they called the day before to confirm the time frame and then called when they were on their way. Delivery guys were wonderful. Very careful and courteous. Buyer Beware!!! We asked prior to purchase if they delivered on Saturday the Store Manager said no but they delivered Mon-Friday and Friday works for us so we bought the furniture. When the delivery person called there was NO delivery on Friday to our area in fact the only days they delivered to our area was Tuesday & Wednesday. We purposely ask this question prior to any purchase because it is a weekend vacation place. Friday we can work out taking 1 day off but our vacation is not till next May. We tied several options, house sitter, Trying to pay someone to drive 90 min to the Newark warehouse with a truck 90 min back. Finally got someone who would take the delivery and bring the furniture to our place for a price. Then I got a call that they want another $50 because 20 min from our house was out of there normal delivery area. I called the manager who told us there was a Friday delivery and he said there was nothing he could do but we could pay a 40% restock fee. Ashley you need to train your managers on delivery practices or better yet stop using a third party delivery service. read more

brought a sofa/love seat from these people last year and had problems within 6 months... the sofa frame cracked {backside} and they would not fix it. I had to go through NBC10 network station consumer complaint dept. and they called them. this is when they came out picked it up and said that they fixed it. then they said that I had jumped on it feet first and this is why it broke. now picture this, a 62yr old man with hip probs. jumping up and down on a sofa, that I paid $1100 for.......yea right and I don't have any grandkids so this is not the cause... I would leave zero stars if I could. Ashley on DuPont in Dover is a scam and a sham. Don't buy there! Crooks. Suck you in then leave you hanging. All I wanted to know was when my order was coming. Receptionist is a liar because she told me "no manager or salesperson is in the store. No one can talk to me" Lies. I called the corporate offices and filed a complaint against this store. They took my complaint and were very helpful with their honesty that my June 11 order wouldn't be in until at least August 16th and that the store lied to me. Absolutely worst customer service. Not only did they deliver a broken sofa to me late they then re-delivered another broken sofa. Then they had a tech come out to fix the sofa. Tech explained that the sofa was not able to be repaired. Then company took over three weeks to send another sofa. Altogether 90 days to get myself up, seven hours total on the phone trying to speak with customer service trying to get managers to call me back emails going back-and-forth all that time lost. Also had to be home and not work during those days for delivery since they give you a four hour window I had to take days off of work. Express to the company that this is a problem please make sure sofas are done correctly the first time. Each time they said it was gonna happen and it did not know compensation no follow up from a single manager owner her supervisor. Nothing also they don't seem to really care whether or not you're returning customer know I explain to them that I'll never come back and I'm going to express my feelings every possible way I can to family and friends of the horrible service and they seem to have no problem with that. Don't waste your time no need to go to the store their website has the best deals. They're on able to work out deals in the work that are better than what's on line. read more

My wife and I went into the store the day after Christmas and saw signs all over the windows that read "ALL FURNITURE 50% OFF PLUS AN ADDITION 20% OFF AND FREE DELIVERY/ SETUP." The only fine print read "prices based off of corporate prices", which was fine considering we would be getting 70% off. Well, we told the salesman the specific dresser we needed and he came back with a price that was MUCH higher than the "corporate retail price". Even after the hefty discount the total did not add up. Not even close! He then explained that this was a privately owned franchise and their prices were different from Ashley's corporate prices and there was nothing he could do about it... even though the hundreds of signs on the windows and in store state otherwise. They are purposely false advertising to get people into the store! Needless to say, we will not support a business that operates like this, and I would advise anyone who considers shopping there to do the same! Total scam! read more

We went into Ashley originally looking for an affordable king size mattress. We had seen some bed in a box deals online that would be perfect for our price range. We walked into the store and couldn't find the mattress. After talking to tony he said they had floor models and some older mattresses that they could possibly cut a deal with us on. After discussing price range and what we wanted we had three options that were in store that we could try out. After finally picking a mattress with a killer deal we checked out and went home. There were a couple things that didn't go perfect. The store didn't offer local deliver for the mattress we purchased but we were lucky enough to have them willing to work with us to get the bed. Unfortunately the first bed we got delivered was the wrong bed but we went back to the store the next day and talked to the associates and got the problem fixed to get us the right bed!
