My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this Ashley store on Sunday, 2-10-19. Ashley Furniture was having a huge President's Day sale so we decided to stop in "spur of the moment". We had been looking for a Dining Room set for several months, even though we really did not need one. Ours was just older and outdated. Our Salesman, Muhammad, was wonderful! He was extremely thorough, conscientious of our needs and listened to us without hovering over us and pushing for a sale. As my husband and I are on a fixed income, we asked if there were any other discounts we could receive if we purchased the set. Muhammad spoke to his Manager, Brittany. I asked if we could meet her in person and he satisfied that as well. Brittany was able to assist with a little more discounted price and we opted to then purchase the set that day! Thank you Brittany for your wonderful personality and the ability to provide us with the additional discount! We then proceeded to check out. No one pressured us to purchase the Protection Program but after thinking about it, my husband and I decided it would be a good idea to purchase with our new investment. While at check out, my husband and I had fun and a wonderful chat with the other three young ladies sitting behind the counter while our transaction was being finalized. The three mentioned are Tiffany, Ariana and Samantha. They were just as fun, congenial and friendly as Muhammad and Brittany. So, excited about our purchase, my husband and I wanted to write a review to compliment the above mentioned individuals, all five of them and their service. When we went to write the review, we found that the exact same set had been listed at a lower price on-line. A little dismayed, I contacted the store and explained what we had found on-line. Muhammad said he would check this out. He said he would do everything he could to allow us to receive the on-line pricing and would let us know. He called us back with good news. Ashley Furniture approved the on-line pricing for us and we saved an additional, almost $160, in discount pricing! Kudos to all mentioned, Muhammad, Manager- Brittany, Tiffany, Ariana and Samantha. They all deserve a "great-job commendation" from my husband and I. We had already visited the Elkton and Bel Air Maryland stores looking for a Dining room set. We will go back to the Rosedale store! Yes, we rated this a 5-star. However, the only reason we rated an overall 5 was for the staff and service. We would like to add that the delivery/pick up could be a little more hassle-free. Free delivery for purchases over $1,800 and we did not qualify for free delivery. Maybe lower the free delivery for purchases $1,000 and over?? Staff-they all deserve more than a 5-star rating but that was not an option. Thank you all! P.S. Store located in Rosedale has VERY horrible customer service. On the day that I was buying my furniture, one of their sales were talking very rudely to this Indian family that was there. They were raising their voice as if they are talking to animals! Even if the customer was on the wrong side, no human should ever be treated that way to begin with. That was just a side note. On my part, I purchased something by the end of February and they told me that they don't have those in stock on that specific warehouse. They said that they will just call for updates. BUT. THEY.NEVER.DID. I have to be the one to keep on calling for updates. At first they said it will be there by end of March. But when I called again they said that it will be there by first week of April. I am getting agitated by this time already but I was calm and said okay. Fast forward last week of March NO CALLS. AGAIN, I have to be the one to call and get an update. AND GUESS WHAT??? The fucking furniture pieces was just sitting on their warehouse. IF I DIDN'T CALL THEN I WILL NEVER KNOW THAT IT WAS THERE ALREADY. They told me that I NEED TO SCHEDULE MY OWN DELIVERY AND THE EARLIEST THAT THEY HAVE IS ON THE APRILL 11TH... (BOUGHT FEB 27). I was still calm and asked for anything earlier. The lady I talked to was nice enough to get the managers attention and they gave me a MARCH 2 delivery. GREAT! Delivery day: WRONG COLOR OF THE FUCKING COUCH. Could this joke get any funnier. YES!!! Because they are pushing me to keep this freaking ugly color for a discount and I said no. I AINT THAT CHEAP. They told me that THEY WILL CALL ME THE DAY AFTER. Guess what again... ITS BEEN 3 DAYS AND I HAD TO CALL THEM AGAIN BUT THIS TIME IT WENT TO VOICEMAIL. PS Those ladies working on the front desk. I had a great experience at Ashley Furniture. As soon as I walked in I was kindly greeted by Daja Brodie with a big smile & I explained to her that I didn't have a lot of time but decided to get new furniture for the new townhouse my kids & I we're moving into. I had pictures from the owners since I loved how they had it decorated. So I showed Daja the photos & no sooner she already had taken me to the 1st couch that was similar to the photo.(which I ended up buying right then) I was surprised by her knowledge of everything & remembering exactly what I was looking for. For the second couch I must say I'm sure I tried Daja's patience because I couldn't decide on the second couch & then once I did and paid for it I ended up going back and going with the original couch she showed me once again knowing exactly what I wanted. But through all this she never complained or rolled her eyes but instead she kept a smile on the entire time & saying it what was fine. Because of Daja & my experience with the other employees at checking out & setting up delivery, I came back the next day with my 2 kids and once again Daja helped them both pick out there new bedroom sets & mattresses. Placed my order with a very fine, polite salesman (Kyle), paid extra for delivery, my account was charged when 2 days later he had to call to say that a supervisor said they wouldn't deliver. I asked to speak with a supervisor to question why, when I was told the day I placed my order that it would be no problem. No matter what question I asked that dude, his response was like a stuck record, "Ma'am, we won't deliver to your address" - no reason why. When I pressed the issue, instead of answering any of my questions with anything but the stuck record response, all of a sudden I was put on hold and he would not come back to the phone. Every person I dealt with at the Greenville, NC store were totally professional and my salesman was so apologetic but Robert Staton was as unprofessional, rude and unremarkable a person as I've ever dealt with. I ended up contacting corporate twice and then another Ashley store and received white glove service. One thing I've learned is to check store reviews first and foremost. My bad but I now have a top of the line product that will be delivered free of charge and I should receive it next week instead of the 6 weeks quoted by Ashley. I have never completed a review on yelp and it is not a typical thing for me to do however, I am a man of my word and I told the sales associate that I would. When my wife and I entered the store, we were greeted by Leroy L. of the Rosedale, Maryland Ashley Furniture HomeStore. The reason I am not saying his last name in full and using a his last initial is because of privacy reasons. Leroy was friendly and welcoming. He explained to us the post thanks giving sale and to look around. Leroy was extremely attentive, and he did check up on us while we were browsing the store without being pushy. When we did find something that we wanted to choose, Leroy honored the sale price and gave us a great deal since we picked out multiple items. Leroy also had a great sense of humor and if there is any room for a promotion or raise in the Sales Department, he deserves it! We also were able to get a great deal on the shipping and handling of the material. When the items were delivered, the contracted delivery company was professional, courteous they did not damage any parts of my house. I recently moved into a new apartment and had nothing but an air mattress. I was feeling kind of down with all the new challenges and took a chance and went into Ashley Furniture on my lunch break. I'd planned on just looking around to see if anything caught my eye. Upon entering Lauren greeted me and proceeded to tell me about the deals that were going on. Then she mentioned a program that may allow me to buy furniture with no money. CREDIT? WHAT? I immediately thought to myself oh well there goes that option. My credit sucks. Then she introduced me to Leroy who walked me over to Terri to see what if anything I'd get approved for. After completing the application to my surprise I was approved. Leroy then lead me around the store and I was picking out my bedroom furniture. To say that I was very pleased is an understatement. I'm so happy that I decided to go to Ashley that day. I couldn't be happier with my choices. Thanks to the great employees including Brittany and Randall I'm getting started on furnishing my new apartment. There's nothing like going home and being comfortable when you get there. I can't wait to get the living room and dining area furnished as well. I'll be returning soon. I'll start by saying that my mother can try the patience of a saint. Some might say she is a bit of a customer service nightmare. Tons of questions, doesn't always listen to the answers. She is never fully satisfied. My family is also bilingual which can get confusing because we switch back and forth between languages without realizing. We had the pleasure of working with Kalin today who made our experience at Ashley a complete pleasure, and effortless. He was patient and knowledgeable. He took the time to listen to what we needed, and nailed it when it came to showing me couches that were exactly what I was looking for.I didn't have to settle for something I kind of liked because he showed me the couch I LOVED. He made it so easy also ended up leaving with a completely unplanned dining room set. The store manager worked with us when it came to delivery( as the two orders where going to separate address and the free shipping wouldn't have applied) which was very much appreciated. Ashley Furniture's incredible customer service speaks volumes about the culture of the company. Kalin's impeccable customer service and friendly demeanor is a huge asset to the company. read more

After a month of these reviews I suddenly get a call from a sales person (after total 8 months of ordering) from the store telling that somehow my order got cancelled (mind you this is a part of dining set which they delivered half) and said that I will have to come to the store. They hardly have a busy store but by the time of scheduled meeting the sales person had no recall that he had called. He went ahead for reordering without even telling that they still have no clue when it will come. No apologies given. They give a "delivery window" of 4-16 weeks and asking if this time they would honor that, the sales person couldn't promise and just walked away. Promise and honoring the order makes a business. This place just wasted my time. The only saving grace is that they did not charge for undelivered items, though they have charged protection warranty for it. It remains the worst experience, my fault that expected anything better and wasted my time. Save yourself time and frustration of dealing with this store. You can get the same stuff on Amazon that'll do a much responsible job. read more

My husband and I bought a sofa and love seat from this store. After owning it only 6 months, we noticed that it squeaked (we're not heavy people at all), the fabric was ripping and the arm rests would pop. It was poor quality, to say the least. It has now taken 4 months for them to address my concerns. They said they "fixed" the sofa and returned it. Even the delivery guys told me the sofa was still broken and not to accept it. That was two months ago. I've been asking for a new set considering the condition and poor quality of the furniture I received. They refused and now I have to accept poor quality furniture in my brand new house! Customer service's response - I should have bought heirloom quality furniture!!??? My rep Sunshine was super friendly and professional. She is a perfect example of outstanding customer service. Very knowledgeable and patient. The only professional who greeted us when entering the store. I would have left if it was not for sunshine. It seems I was profiled due to my appearance. I was not dressed in my normal business attire,due to me just purchasing my home, running many house errands, i was any normal house clothes. I was in a rush to get furniture immediately, because I got rid of all my old furniture. I came in due to a coupon that was mailed to me welcoming me to the community and offering 60% off. I was there quite sometime because of the particular measurements i needed for my living room, I had become frustrated, but Sunshine reassured me we would find something, which we did. Upon arriving the salesman was unavailable that my wife had spoken with prior, even though we let him know that we would be coming by. No big deal because Jordan, the young man who helped us in his place, was incredible. EXTEMELY knowledgeable, thorough, and personable. Salesman come attached with a stigma that they are going to play the game and eventually wear you down, Jordan built a relationship and got right to the point. He had his customers best interest in mind and he invested himself to ensure that we left the store happy every time, mind you we tried beating the price and Jordan kept us coming back. Thanks to Jordan's assistance we ended up buying a mattress and a bed. Ashley's and Jordan will be our first stop on any furniture purchase in the future. read more

My wife and I had visited several furniture stores looking for a sofa and rocker/lounge chair. The sales people were very aggressive and made you feel uncomfortable. We finally visited the Rosedale Ashley store and we're approached by Mr Leroy. We advised him we were just looking and he said okay if we need anything just let him know and gave us his name and advised us about the 75th anniversare 50% sale and left us alone. We spent multiple days here. My fiance was asking the craziest questions. Leroy and Victor were great each time. They moved recliners to different areas of the store to see if they would match with the sofa we were looking at. When we figured out the recliner for the set we wanted was too big, Leroy and Victor spent a bunch of time looking up different options that were similar to what we wanted. They took pillows and seat cushions off of different pieces to see if it would match the sofa we wanted.They were very patient and helpful, not overbearing or pushy and gave us just enough space to shop on our own yet came around and checked on us. Just stopped in Ashley furniture home store on Pulaski highway looking for a living room set and had the pleasure of working with Muhammad Zain. Muhammad is a very knowledgeable, friendly , non pushy salesman I have met in a long time. My husband and I were not really sure what style of furniture we wanted and Muhammad was very patient with us and was able to answer every question we had even though he was not sure if we were going to buy anything or not. He definitely made us feel as if we were his only customers the whole time we were there. If interested in buying from Ashley I would definitely recommend him as your salesperson. He greeted us with a smile and reassured us he only wished to share the advertisment with this weekend's sales along with the promise he would leave us to our shopping. Wow! No pressure! Very nice! When my husband and I had a few questions about a living room set, Leroy generously shared how the furniture was made, answered all our questions, and even offered to move furniture around so I could visualize placement in my home. Victor and Brittany (manager) did an amazing job helping us pick out our new furniture set! They were so extensive and placed pieces of different displays together so we could see what matched and went together! Victor went the extra mile to carry a display table over to the couch that we wanted and help us match! Along with our now new rug! This was my first visit to an Ashley Furniture store. The day I was there the store was practically empty which made me feel safe during this pandemic. LEROY LAMOTTA helped my daughter choose furniture for her new apartment. Leroy was patient and efficient finding items that were in stock instead of having to order the furniture. My daughter completed her choices in a timely manner and checkout and scheduling was done easily thanks to Liz.
