Terrible customer service. Incredibly rude. Overpriced. Mediocre style. Many better options in Middle Georgia.

Nice place, but the workers are not very welcoming. Location in the downtown Perry area is quant, but the hours make it not very assessable.

Can someone say horrible customer service. I have been to this Belk a handful of times and I have…read morenever had a pleasant experience. It is common to wait in line for long periods of time while the store is fairly empty in both the main store and the separate men's department. Unfortunately if you are in this part of middle Georgia and looking for a department store shopping experience Belk is as good as it gets. Prices are reasonable when there is a sale. On my most recent visit on a Sunday 30 minutes before closing time. I stood in the check-out line while the person in front of me was being rung up. There were two associates and 2 registers. I assumed one register was closed but after 5 minutes of waiting the other associate says "come on" signaling me to come to the register for her to ring me up. No greeting just a "come on" and will you be using your Belk card. I've never worked at Belk but I'm pretty sure following that question you are supposed to ask if I want to open one up. The answer would have been no, but still she was very rude. I only come to this location when I have to purchase something that I don't have time to wait for in the mail or travel to Macon to get. This Belk has the worst selection of women's clothing and home items amongst any I've been to and is very unorganized. Surprisingly the men's department is decent and well organized. Next time I will drive the extra 30 miles to the Macon location where I always have a positive experience.

Juan was incredibly friendly and had a sharp eye for good colors and styles, and also made it experience fun. Within an hour and a half I had everything picked, measured, and was put the door, although someone that has a better idea of what they want could be much quicker. I am very pleased with the cost and savings and love the suits! Definitely worth a visit

So I just called and spoke to a Richard to make sure we didn't need an appointment for a groom to try on suits/tuxedos. Wanted the location to prepared and sometimes appointments are required - like for the bride's dress. The whole conversation was frustrating! I had to keep repeating myself and he didn't seem like he really wanted the business. He said they didn't have all the styles/sizes etc. in the store and when I said "well he can still get fitted and try them on and then just order the one he wants online, right?" He says in an annoyed tone "Um are you going to buy from another company or us?" Are you serious? Obviously I'm interested in THEIR suits?! Then when he asked a question about groomsmen, i informed him we were only interested in the grooms suit and if he still needed the info he started to say something but then said "you don't have to, I was just trying to help you but don't worry we'll take care of you" in the most condescending tone. Richard is clearly not a people person thus his business must not be either. There are plenty of other suit places to choose from!

I'm new to renting tuxedos I normally like to buy suits. Because I don't understand the point of…read morepaying for something that you're going to return but anyways. My friend was having a wedding and I was one of the groomsmen and this is where he decided to choose his tuxedos from. Now don't get me wrong I understand renting tuxedos from anywhere is high so the price isn't the problem, it's the customer service. The guy mr. Peacock that works there is pretty cool but the guy that owns the place is beyond rude. If my friend was not getting married and chose his tuxedos from here I would never have gotten a tuxedo from this location.the gentleman talk to me like I was garbage. It all started because I'm a bigger gentleman and I wear my pants under my stomach that I wear a size 40 or 42 now I know this and I know tuxedo pants fit different because I've been buying suits for years from New York fashions downtown Dublin. Which I highly recommend for anybody that wants a suit. The guys told me that I wore a 54. this would be different if another friend of mine wouldn't have just got married and his pants fit me and it was the same size that I needed which was closer to a 46 or 48. The guy told me he was still going to order the size pants that he said he was going to order. When they came in I told him I don't think these pants will fit because now we're only three days away from the wedding and if the pant size is 10 sizes too big I don't know what they would do. The guy I proceeded to ask me how often do I work tuxedos? I told him this would be the first time. Then he asked how many tux's do you think I rent in a year? I told him probably a lot. Then he stated don't come in here telling me how to do my job because I know what I'm doing. Now I'm not one to get angry quick but when he said this it automatically made me mad. I don't like confrontation so I didn't say anything at first. Then he proceeded to say if I didn't trust who was doing his suits I would come to that location and would go somewhere else. At which time I did tell him back that if it was my choice I would have never came in this location. I don't think you should ever speak to a customer this way. I've worked in customer service for going on 15 + years and I would never be rude to a customer this way. the young guy that works there tried to call me down and explain to me how tuxedo pants fit. When I looked at the size on the pants they ordered a 48 and not a 54 like they say they were going to. So thankfully they fit. But see the thing is they're the only ones that tell that rent tuxedos that I know of. So they kind of hold that as they could do and say whatever they want to to their customers. But after being talked to like that I will never step back in this location again. I will never recommend this location to anybody. What I do recommend is either going to New York fashions downtown they may rent tuxedos I have never asked but the gentleman that owns that location is very nice and very helpful. I've been buying suits from there for years and have never had a problem. His brother also owns one in Augusta as well. Or I recommend just driving old up to Macon are renting a tuxedo up there weather be for weddings or proms. My thing is not the money cuz I don't care how much I pay for something if I pay you for it and it's for me I wanted to fit how I want it fit. If I don't like it being a little snug and I wanted a size bigger that's what should happen because I paid for it to happen. Both of the weddings that my friends was in had problems with their tuxedo the first wedding they had to send the tuxedos back because the pant sizes were wrong and this wedding several of the pant sizes was wrong the vest was wrong and even one of them the shoes were wrong. That's really somebody that don't need to be told how to do their job. If I could give them less than 1 star I would. But like I said Mr peacock that works there is real nice and I haven't personally had any problems out of young guy that works there either.

This place completely met my expectations - okay I didn't use the facilities so I won't comment on…read morethe conditions inside or outside the stalls lol. I didn't buy any nuts, honey or candy so I don't know or care if those items are pricey I would assume they are since this is a roadside Stuckey's type business with a different name with or without the pecan logs and pecan divinity. I actually love the old building and nostalgic gas pumps and these baby's pump your fuel at a record breaking pace I guess this old technology isn't so bad after all even if I do have to walk twenty feet to pay inside - I pumped one hundred and forty dollars worth of gas without have to enter one bit of my personal information - no zip code - no PIN number - no car wash option - no reward membership - no prepayment guarantee this transaction was strictly based on the honor system like it should be - you provide a service or commodity and I agree to pay you for those, sounds pretty simple to me. The staff was very friendly and we interacted during the credit card transaction. This experience felt like transactions did a few decades ago and gave me the feelings that I have long ago forgotten since people don't talk any longer - the pay at the pump options may save a few minutes and a few steps but I'm not so sure I need to save a few minutes and I certainly could take a few more steps. I guess the world spins a little faster now and we don't have time to say hello or hear thank you and come again...

They are based on TRUST, which doesn't seem to happen all that often these days, as they allow you to pump your gas first, then pay after your done. Being from NY, I would have expected a lot of "hit and runs', however the staff noted that they rarely get a runner. Inside the store is a gigantic array of tourist items from nuts, to t-shirts. My favorite one was the Tommy Hilfiger colors, however the slogan read "Tommy Hillbilly". They carry a great amount of different items from you to choose from, and the pricing wasn't as expensive as some of the other 'plantation style' rest stops. I was really hoping to find some local fruits down there, however they didn't have any fresh foods, all were premade or bagged. The one turnoff was that there was a huge road sign that advertised "Cleanest bathrooms", however the bathrooms were not all that great. The mens room were very old style stalls with 4 foot urinals all the way to the floor. The bathroom didn't "smell", so if that is what they meant by 'clean', then i guess they were right...however to advertise as one of the cleanest on a huge billboard would be a lie. There were a lot of 'gnats' and 'fruit flies' flying around, however with the lack of real fruits, it makes you wonder where all these flies were coming from, or where they were going. (must be a garbage area nearby). They are located in a very convenient location, so as soon as you get off the expressway, they are right there on the corner. This allows you very easy access to get back onto the expressway, without having to go too far.
