Also, Some of the stores are gone and some may follow after being told this by other store owners or managers at this mall location. Selection at this mall here is far and in between of private sellers in the middle of the mall and name brand stores. Also do NOT forget this mall is for sale even though its still open to the public for people to come walk around the mall area. I wonder if this mall did sale what would happen to this mall over time since the management changes and this mall being for sale for a pricey dollar. I wonder if new stores would come to this mall or stay away. Who knows.

It is common to wait in line for long periods of time while the store is fairly empty in both the main store and the separate men's department. Unfortunately if you are in this part of middle Georgia and looking for a department store shopping experience Belk is as good as it gets. Prices are reasonable when there is a sale. On my most recent visit on a Sunday 30 minutes before closing time. I stood in the check-out line while the person in front of me was being rung up. There were two associates and 2 registers. I assumed one register was closed but after 5 minutes of waiting the other associate says "come on" signaling me to come to the register for her to ring me up. No greeting just a "come on" and will you be using your Belk card. I've never worked at Belk but I'm pretty sure following that question you are supposed to ask if I want to open one up. The answer would have been no, but still she was very rude. I only come to this location when I have to purchase something that I don't have time to wait for in the mail or travel to Macon to get. This Belk has the worst selection of women's clothing and home items amongst any I've been to and is very unorganized. Surprisingly the men's department is decent and well organized. Next time I will drive the extra 30 miles to the Macon location where I always have a positive experience.

Yesterday I noticed the same tall woman who works there who is usually friendly but very loud and she would not stop complaining loudly about something she smelled. She was walking around the store literally trying to find the smell walking up to people.She proceeded to go to the back of the store and pour bleach somewhere either on a mop and start mopping the floor of the entire store reeked of bleach so bad the customers were leaving this woman did not shut up about her smelling something apparently that she didn't like no one else that complain and maybe it was a perfume someone was wearing, but it was not only disturbing, but it was rude and it made me never want to come back. I don't know what her name is but I know she works there and she's there on Thursdays and she's very tall and loud. I said something about it as well because the bleach made my head hurts so bad and she just said oh well I got tired of whatever that other smell was. So RUDE! I've worked in customer service my entire life and this was absolutely the worst customer service I've ever received. Disgusting! I've been in there before with screaming kids and nothing it's ever said or done but yet this lady didn't like a smell and this is the kind of reaction. People have to deal with. You have what I'm assuming to be the manager giving customers dirty looks and just standing/ talking to what appears to be friends or on her phone being lazy - she has barely any eyebrows. She also will give the average customers attitude and has no customer service skills at all. The other employees are very pleasant, kind, and hardworking! Their "sale" selection does give you the actual price of the item, which is annoying. Other locations will have the markdown price on the tag. I'm a big American Eagle shopper but I'd rather drive further away or shop solely online than come into this location ever again.
