There were a lot of brand new wigs for about $10 a pop, and many racks with costumes. Also noticed quite a few new/like new pairs of shoes that were going only for $7 (including a pair of stylish pumps that would normally go for $40+ at the mall). The only thing I bought was a book for 25 cents at their Last Chance store next door. I seriously need to come back here on a weekly basis to hunt for children's books. Such a great deal!

The building it is in is a little older but other than that completely safe by our standards (it was just us girls. Me and my younger sister). The owner is such a beautiful person and so helpful. First impression was it smelled SOOOO good when we first walked in! Second impression was the owner greeted us and you could tell she meant it. We shopped for about an hour and she gave HONEST opinions of what we tried on. If she didn't like it she told us. That's rare, most people just want you to buy something. Third impression was she had everything ORGANIZED! Fourth impression was the pricing was EXCELLENT! Didn't break our bank and we are traveling so that was awesome. She has VERY nice stuff for not even HALF of what we would have paid for in the mall. She had lots of new stuff too. I would def recommend this little spot to ANYONE! We will be stopping by on our way back after Christmas to see what new things she has and she told us she sells online too, so I can shop from North ATL if I don't want to drive down...but I'll DEF be back! Beautiful place!!

Finial selection is fun, and I count on their help with lampshades for old lamps I own which turn them into works of art. I have also purchased many used (refurbished) lamps from them, as the prices are reasonable and the lamps are unique and special.

The main reason for not giving them 5 Stars, is because, when I explained the problem (base of…read moreFloor Lamp, and threads in the tube are either stripped, or not long enough to fully engage), Doug (the owner, I think), told me he'd have to see it. So, after a 30.7 mile drive (one way; the bane of small town living), it turns out that he couldn't fix it. :-( Located in an older part of Macon, this shop is actually bigger than it looks. When I got there, and he saw the base had a Threaded Coupling, vs a Threaded Rod, he actually started apologizing right then. He said, The company who made this lamp is out of business. And, I've been trying to find threaded couplings without success (he even took me in the back work room, and showed me another lamp that has the same problem. He also showed me a new lamp whose rod was slightly angled, and when assembled, would be leaning slightly). While we talked about alternatives (welding, gluing, or buying a new lamp), I found that he really knew his business. So, even though he was unable to fix it, I wouldn't hesitate to refer you to him.
