Every question I asked was answered with her huffing and puffing and rolling her eyes. She also spoke rudely to her staff as well from what I could see the short time I was in the store, they all seemed afraid to be around her. I was going to make a large purchase but ended up putting all of my items back and leaving the store. I am not going to spend my money in a place where I feel like I am bothering the manager. Maybe she was having a bad day, but that's no excuse to treat customers or staff as rude as Michelle did.

We walked in to the store and told the associate we'd be buying 23 pairs of shoes. They explained the layout of the store since we needed shoes from all sections from toddlers to mens! Every time we picked out a few pairs an associate was there to take them up to the counter for us until all our choices were done. The associate who rang us up helped to make sure we were signed up for the rewards program and was sure to ring our shoes up so we saved as much as possible with the buy one get one half off deals. Once our purchase was done 2 associates carried our bags to my car for us. Mom and I had an amazing experience today at this location. Everyone was excellent from beginning to end! There were a lot of brand new wigs for about $10 a pop, and many racks with costumes. Also noticed quite a few new/like new pairs of shoes that were going only for $7 (including a pair of stylish pumps that would normally go for $40+ at the mall). The only thing I bought was a book for 25 cents at their Last Chance store next door. I seriously need to come back here on a weekly basis to hunt for children's books. Such a great deal!

It is common to wait in line for long periods of time while the store is fairly empty in both the main store and the separate men's department. Unfortunately if you are in this part of middle Georgia and looking for a department store shopping experience Belk is as good as it gets. Prices are reasonable when there is a sale. On my most recent visit on a Sunday 30 minutes before closing time. I stood in the check-out line while the person in front of me was being rung up. There were two associates and 2 registers. I assumed one register was closed but after 5 minutes of waiting the other associate says "come on" signaling me to come to the register for her to ring me up. No greeting just a "come on" and will you be using your Belk card. I've never worked at Belk but I'm pretty sure following that question you are supposed to ask if I want to open one up. The answer would have been no, but still she was very rude. I only come to this location when I have to purchase something that I don't have time to wait for in the mail or travel to Macon to get. This Belk has the worst selection of women's clothing and home items amongst any I've been to and is very unorganized. Surprisingly the men's department is decent and well organized. Next time I will drive the extra 30 miles to the Macon location where I always have a positive experience.

We used House of Hines for the Groom's Party at our wedding. When the suits came in, a groomsman's…read moresuit pants were not the correct length. Also, the best man's suit had two different color accessories and the pants did not fit based on the measurements that were done. When the best man went back to pick up the suit, he tried on the pants and they fit. On the day of our wedding, we discovered that the jacket that he previously tried on and was the correct fit, had been switched to a jacket that was way too small. This was discovered less than two hours before our wedding. House of Hines had someone bring the correct jacket to our wedding venue and later refunded the best man. My husband and I reached out to House of Hines because we were extremely displeased and felt that we should have received some sort of refund. Although, the best man was refunded, the bride and groom were the most impacted. The stress, panic, disappointment that we endured, in addition to the wedding photos that were ruined due to one person not having a jacket on were astronomical. I expressed my frustration and was told that there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak with someone in a position to make it right, and was told I was speaking with the correct person. I am very disappointed. We did not have to receive a full or partial refund for the groom, but they should have at least offered us a restaurant gift card or something. We chose House of Hines for our wedding and we were impacted by our best man not having a jacket during our wedding ceremony. Our ceremony pictures will be forever ruined by their error. Any gesture would have been appreciated, but they were unwilling. I will not refer anyone to House of Hines and will warn people not to use them in the future.
