    Poor product

    If I could give a zero I would. I purchase the Willowton 60" TV Stand order online Wednesday, April 17th, 2024. The TV stand was delivered that Friday, but I did not start putting it together until Monday. As I was taking the item out of the box it was split part # 28, front tail . According, the instructions it provide me the website to see if it can be replaced, but the website told me it couldn't be replaced and provide me with three location that I can take the piece to see if I can receive another. I took it to Ashley in Eastchase, located in the Montgomery, AL. Manager told me that they cannot replace it with charging me for it because they are not affiliated with Ashley online. Finally, I got intouch with a rep (contractor), who confirmed that part #28 can be replaced and one will be sent to me with 7-10 business days. I sent pictures to email provided by her but I have not heard anything. Spoke to a rep via chat and phone item has not shipped yet. One rep told me it will be available mid May. I called back on June 3 and the rep told me it will be mid June when the part will be available. Now I have the stand scattered over the den ready to be put together, but I can't move forward until I get that piece. *** Please do not buy Furniture from Ashley, because it will take forever to get your replacement part.***

    I will NEVER purchase anything from Ashley Furniture. Dresser drawers don't close properly, some are entirely crooked! One drawer was busted on the inside. The night stand drawer came completely apart due to the inside rail not being put together properly. Our dining room table is gashed and messed up on one corner. The inside of our server is warped from screws not being put in correctly. Our ottoman was too large and they would not exchange it. No return policy. I have called them several times over the last month and a service tech has still not been assigned to my issues. They are so busy fixing their junky furniture. This company does not stand behind their products and they're getting away from it! Buyer beware!!!!!!

    This is the worse furniture I have ever purchased. There is nothing more I can say. Customer SERVICE is terrible too.

I bought a decent amount of furniture, got home same day, looked at the receipt, and realized they overcharged me. Not much but $250. The manager told me he would credit it to my card. That was about 3 months ago, still not received the credit. I called talked to rude representatives at corporate. They promised me they would fix it. Still not credit. I called back talked to a manager at corporate, same promise, she even promised to call me back, literally nothing happened. I've now spent hours on hold waiting to talk to rude employees, months waiting for my credit. Me paying interest on the money they borrowed from me. Absolutely pathetic. After waiting about 90-days for them to credit me what they told me they would, I finally just disputed it through my credit card. Now my remote control breaks on the fireplace I bought from them. I reach out to see if I could buy a new one, they literally just told me in the chat they couldn't help me. I would ABSOLUTELY NOT do business with them. It's one thing to have a bad employee or two but literally no one would help me at corporate. It's clearly a training issue and not worth the headache of trying to get them to do what's right.

Can you please prove it to me if there is any Customer service philosophy at Ashely furniture? I hear your mission statement over the phone and its a total LIE and there are no words to describe how pathetic the service is for customers, both at the store and through your CS department. You ll find smile only if your staff sees that there is a potential sales, but there is no empathy if a customer is in a problem. Series of Events, explaining your service standards; I ordered a sofa sleeper bed and a love seat (Paying by Cc and Cash $1200) at Milpitas Store, CA around end of September 2016, moving from Australia with no furniture. At the time of placing the order, Mr. Henry said that the furniture would be available in the same week (by Thursday) as what he could see in the system. We did indicate to him since we have no furniture and wanted it fast, so the only reason we would place an order with Ashley if we could receive it within a week or 10 days, if not we ll go to Living Spaces. On Wednesday that week ( Thursday being the committed delivery), we received a call from the warehouse saying would do the furniture on Saturday ( partial) and the other by the following week. on Friday, we received the sms through dispatch that the furniture would be delivered between 12:30-3:30pm on Saturday. We waited for the shipment until 4pm, and then got a call from the driver that he would actually deliver by 6pm. We waited again until 9pm, leaving several messages and calls on the drivers cell , but he never turned up ( wasted whole day for Ashley). We went to the Milpitas store on Sunday and expressed our dissatisfaction and frustration. We were then informed by the Store that they would arrange the complete delivery on Wednesday . Again on Tuesday we received the call that there would be a partial delivery on Saturday (mis commitment ) again. We then went back to the store and cancelled the original order PO#40037520 in frustration and re-ordered another Sofa set and a love set( PO # 40036910) . paying additional money so that we could get something to sit on (remember we had nothing). Again the commitment was made through the store that the sofa would be in the week (partial 3 seater) and then following week for the love seat. On the day of partial delivery, the truck came with the 3 seater and refused to deliver on the 3rd floor of the apartment as it would not fit the elevator. There were 3 guys and ample space on the stairs and still refused. Following this we were very frustrated and went back to the store and cancelled the whole order on the 12th SEPT. Since SEPT 12th, we have not received our cheque for $1200 that I paid cash with. It has been over 5 weeks and I have made several contacts both at the store ( Henry, Abrahim and the finance lady) and the CS HQ center ( Luisa and Nicole-Mgr) , who repeatedly committed to get back with the update , but never called. I have been the one calling all the time and visiting the Store , but no a 1% effort or consideration through Ashley. I am sure if it was Ashleys money stuck, they would have taken a serious action. As I have just moved into US so struggling with my budget, but Ashley doesn't care at all. I have also sent an email to the Milpitas store, no reply as usual. My last conversation was with Nicole -mgr at the CS mgr on Oct 19th , who again said that there were no notes in the system through Finance and promised to call me at 12pm Tuesday 10/20/2016 after talking to finance. She never called ...as usual. Your HQ CS advised that the cheque was sent out on the 10/07/2016 , but we have not received at all. If it was sent out, where is the tracking number or the proof? My wife also called the store today (10/20/2016) and the finance lady said that to request the cheque again, it would take another 30-40 days. Now , tell me Mr. Todd ..what would you do in this situation if you were the customer? Law suit maybe??? I am very very angry now. Best Regards Zeeshan Abbasi

When I returned, I sat on the couch & the reclining mechanism didn't work. I called Ashley & asked them to replace it with a new couch. Nope, they're sending a guy out to fix it. 2 months later, maybe? Can't remember exactly. Repairman comes out & confirms it's broken. He needs to order a part. 3-4 months go by. No part. I call (and Good God, don't even try to call - you'll be hold for ages) - the part was not ordered. Ashley orders it, it comes in, and here I am waiting for a repairman another month. He comes in, fixes it, I also show him that by now the UBS port doesn't work either. Also, the mechanics for the recliner push up into the sofa making it extraordinarily uncomfortable. I tell the repair guy this. He grabs packing materials from the box the part came in & shoved it into the seat - you cannot make this stuff up. Several weeks go by, the couch breaks again. Ashley is ordering me a replacement of the same couch. It is now May. They have rescheduled the delivery & are now delivering on the very day I am moving to a new house. I do not want this couch - so much so, that I'll be loading it up & dropping it on the doorstep of Ashley in Folsom. I literally do not care what they do with it. I am self-employed. My last day off was in August. I worked very hard to save that $1200 for a new couch and I'm out $1200 over this debacle. You know what? It's been 10-months since I started this process & I am fresh out of fucks to give. Keep my money. Ashley is like a bad boyfriend - cut him loose & don't look back. I am also filing complaints with the BBB, reviewing on Google & filing a suit in Small Claims. This company is the absolute worst I've ever dealt with. Worse than Verizon, Comcast & a car dealership. It's literally that bad.

We had been in and out of several stores laying on different types of mattresses and hearing the sales pitches from each place. Same old song and dance of why we should buy from them or their company. Mattress shopping is tougher than we thought because if one store has one you like and another store has another style you like you have to remember each. You can't really compare the two at that point. Regardless the entire experience at Slumberland was a completely different feeling from start to finish. We came into the store, was immediately greeted with hellos, introduced,, asked how we are you doing today with smiles.. We explained to her the reason for our visit today and what we were looking for. Explained to her our previous set-up and the style of mattress we think we want going forward. She took us to the area of the mattresses, explained which ones we should try on our own time and we got right to it. There was no pitch, no gimmicks, no pressure to buy, just these are your options to choose from. Amanda told us to take our time, she gave us pillows with covers to put on them to keep sanitary to lay on. Amanda was great... She literally said to us let me know if I can further help you or answer any other questions anytime you need me and told us she would be sitting at her desk if we needed additional help. So we laid on the ones she suggested. Then started reading some of the literature about each bed, the craftsmanship and how they were constructed. So we called Amanda back over to ask her a million questions which she knew every single answer to immediately. She clearly was a woman that had worked for this company for a long time and takes great pride in what she does. If all Slumberlands employees were like this lady other furniture stores would go out of business..... We went over very detailed things such as costs, adjustable box frame options, sheets, colors, warranties, pillows, delivery, how long it takes to get, in home set up and on and on. Next thing you know she had everything put together in a plan with total prices, any discounts and sales promotion prices that could be applied. My wife was very happy, so we bought ourselves a new bed right then and there. Amanda assured us the bed set-up that we had choosen was one of the best their store carries and we would be happy for a long time to come. Her laid back approach and the way she knew her information was what sealed the deal for us. She never fumbled through any questions or gave us any B.S. sale pitch talk. She literally knew it all right away which just gave us a genuine experience fell that we made the right choice. We felt we got a very good price for a quality product. We are now proud owners of a Hybrid Luxury Stearns & Foster Ultra Plush Pollock mattress set. We both left feeling we made the right choice and bought from the right person. We wish all our shopping experiences were as pleasant as this. We also agreed that we would come back to shop at this Slumberland location again. Thank to Amanda. Highly recommend her services if you are in need of anything at all for your home. Great shopping experience overall! If you deal with Amanda you will not be disappointed I promise.
