Angelo was recommended to me by the bank's 203k Inspection company. At that time, based on my experience with flakey contractors from Craigslist, I was planning on managing all of the sub-contractors on my own. This was already proving to be a headache. I asked Angelo to come in and provide estimates on a few items; some plaster repairs, some plumbing... he was patient and un-assuming. It was actually pleasant working with him which was a stark contrast with the other contractors I had been in touch with up to this time. It was so pleasant working with him, in fact, that I asked him to provide an estimate on the whole job. He was able to turn this around extremely quickly and his price was fair and affordable. I ended up awarding the entire job to him and he was really good about working within the confines of the stringent 203k Rehabilitation Loan process. This meant I didn't have to work with a half dozen independent contractors. I only had to work with Angelo and he was always available when I needed to talk to him. Throughout the job, Angelo understood my needs, even when I didn't! He knew what my budget was and what the intended purpose of my remodeled two family home was. He helped to keep me on course, even when my mistakes may have meant a few extra dollars to him. Angelo also made sure that his team did some "extra" things for me that weren't even in our original budget. They found ways to make this work fit into the budget and as a result I have a home that is nice and comfortable and very livable. It's this type of professionalism and expertise that keeps customers coming back to him. The quality of work that Evans construction provided was very good and met or exceeded my expectations. They were able to meet my very aggressive timeline as well, which is nothing short of remarkable! I will definitely work with Angelo and Evans Construction again. In fact, the next property that I buy, I'm taking Angelo with me to evaluate them from the very beginning! I recommend them highly to my friends and family.

Last fall I had some shingles blow off my roof and needed it repaired ASAP before it rained. I called several roofers and none of them would come over for a small repair within less than a week. Some said they only repair the roof if they installed it. I got Carl's name from a neighbor, and he came over the next day and patched the roof, and then confirmed what I already knew; that I would need a new roof sooner than later. This spring I called around for quotes for a new roof. Carl and Daniel's quote was the least expensive by several thousand dollars. They used all the same materials and methods, with architectural shingles and Owens Corning ice & water shield, etc., as what was specified in the most expensive quote. The crew was very considerate - they had to use our neighbor's driveway for their ladders and removal of some of the roofing material, and we have a lot of plants alongside the house. They built a special wooden protection platform over the plants and were very thorough about cleaning the driveway when done. They did a great job and were a pleasure to work with.
