The crew they dispatched to remove the damaged carpet and install the new one worked quickly, efficiently and had my new carpet installed in an hour. They cleaned as they went and left the bedroom squeeky clean. The cost for the Mohawk brand carpet 174 sq ft including installation was $1600 - exceptionally reasonable for this beautiful, tough carpet designed for family living. First, our designer lost the design plans and tried to cover it up. This caused us to have to try to re-remember items that we had discussed prior. For example, we asked for no spice rack, then we get a spice rack, so we then had to improvise once the project was underway. Completely incompetant...no apologies, and our designer clearly didn't listen the first time, take notes, and honestly just didn't care at all about us. We should have known then, next time we will just walk away..... Next, our contracter was a complete joke. Never inspected the site for follow up / punch list items. Eletrical and Floor contracters were sub par, we still have a light switch that doesn't work properly. They destroyed our dining room floors relocating our refridgerator, with no full repair, just a touch up that looks like crap. They also damaged our mudroom floor and apparently have no idea how to fix what they broke, so I now have a gap in my floor that has never been addressed. Lastly, they never finished the final revisions to the trim. I told this clown several times what we needed to tidy up on, and several times never receieved follow up. In other cases, he did not properly relay instructrions to the sub contractors, so twice we had cabinet / trim people show up without the necessary materials to tidy up. The cabinent / trim guys were the only bright spot in an otherwise horrible experience. I truly felt bad for Bud and Shawn as their time was wasted by our General Contractor. As it stands now, almost 6 months since we were suppossed to be "complete" and zero follow up. I am embarrased to have people show up with incomplete instructions, and our general contractor has not visited the kitchen to address anyting since NOVEMBER of last year. Do not go with this place, over budget, zero follow up, horrible design team, bad sub contractors. Complete waste of time, and we never got the satisfaction of a final, complete, project....

It was quite discouraging to go to many different vendors and find out that it would cost me over 35k in cabinets. I was so happy to find Tom at Cabinet Depot. He had solid maple cabinet with dovetail construction, and all of his cabinets came with full extension and soft closes, at a fraction of the price compared to many other companies I spoke too (approx. 12 companies). My design was very unusual and based on function vs. form. I had cabinets bumped out, custom shelves, and an island that was longer than most slabs of granite available. He worked very hard to help bring my custom details together. My whole project was smooth, and efficient. Only hang up I had was my electrician, whom I hired. The plumber, granite, tile, and Tom's workers were the best. Tom kept everything running smoothly. If you need someone to just provide cabinets or do a major kitchen renovation, I strongly suggest dropping in to cabinet depot. Take your time laying out your kitchen Strongly suggest thinking out your prep space, storage, and make sure it functions to your needs. Talk to many different kitchen designers if you need too. But before you drop off a check to place your order on cabinets, make sure you bring your plans in to Cabinet Depot, and finalize the price on cabinets. BEST Quality and price for cabinets. I needed a granite slab for a small kitchen countertop for my newly remodeled basement. Tons of…read moreremnants to choose from. The price was very reasonable compared to other quotes. Install was quick and easy. Backsplash was cut from the same piece of granite and looks fantastic. I gave the guys an extra $100 to install the back and sidesplash on my bathroom vanity and they were happy to do it. My one problem was with the undermounted sink they provided. Along with squared edges, the base of the sink is flat so water pools rather than draining. This in turn leads to soap and water stains. I recommend shopping undermount sinks before agreeing to the one they'll provide.

This company installed granite countertops in my newly remodeled kitchen seven years ago. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this at the time and ended up spending thousands of dollars repainting my cabinets, only to recently learn from another contractor that water had been seeping through the faulty seam all along, causing additional damage. When I contacted the company, they asked for $300 to reseal it, which feels unreasonable given that this appears to be an installation issue. I even offered to wait until they were working in the area, since it's a quick fix, but they were not willing to accommodate. I would recommend looking for a company that stands behind its work and provides better long-term support. Also, if possible, avoid placing seams near the sink--what seems like a minor detail can lead to significant damage over time.
