It was quite discouraging to go to many different vendors and find out that it would cost me over 35k in cabinets. I was so happy to find Tom at Cabinet Depot. He had solid maple cabinet with dovetail construction, and all of his cabinets came with full extension and soft closes, at a fraction of the price compared to many other companies I spoke too (approx. 12 companies). My design was very unusual and based on function vs. form. I had cabinets bumped out, custom shelves, and an island that was longer than most slabs of granite available. He worked very hard to help bring my custom details together. My whole project was smooth, and efficient. Only hang up I had was my electrician, whom I hired. The plumber, granite, tile, and Tom's workers were the best. Tom kept everything running smoothly. If you need someone to just provide cabinets or do a major kitchen renovation, I strongly suggest dropping in to cabinet depot. Take your time laying out your kitchen Strongly suggest thinking out your prep space, storage, and make sure it functions to your needs. Talk to many different kitchen designers if you need too.
