Great oil change service visit today for our 2020 F250. Did not take too long to get it done.

The very first night I had the truck, the mirror glass fell out of the housing and shattered on the driveway. I brought it in immediately and ordered the mirror replacement which took about a week to get. Unfortunately they ordered the passenger mirror instead of the drivers side mirror. At the same time they were supposed to to finish the detailing since it was dark and I did not notice how bad a job they did the night before. The detailer did not get my job the day they had it, so they kept it for another day. Later I found out they failed to complete the request recall, forcing me to take yet another trip Now the brand new tire has a defect on the inner sidewall, so with less than 1,000 miles I have to purchase a new tire. The management is not easy to work with, and I have never been so disappointed. My sales guy Chase Weaver apologized but sometimes an apology is not enough when you're buying an $82K vehicle you expect reasonable service. Replacing a defective $300 tire seems reasonable. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere when buying your next vehicle.

I had previously heard of others in Virginia that had a good experience with them. Vinnie Centro in Internet sales and I came to terms quickly and a few hours later I was with Sarah in sales closing the deal. On the way there my girlfriend's car had developed an issue that had dashboard lights flashing. Sarah Wilke got that issue resolved gratis in less than 30 minutes. John Stonetreet closed the deal in finance. There were several hiccups after sale that were more than satisfied. A good group that needs to be commended.

The car is listed online at one price. When I asked them to send me the numbers, I expected to see the vehicle price, taxes, and the doc fee. Instead, the very first worksheet they sent, before any discounts, already had a roughly $990 "Resistall" undercoating package built into it. I never asked for it. It appears nowhere in the price they advertise online. You only find out about it once you sit down to get the real financials. I asked to have it removed, and Ben Scott would not take it off, having it conveyed to me through my sales rep that it is some kind of mandatory practice. There is nothing mandatory about it. Forcing a $990 spray onto a 2021 with 7,000 miles that already carries a factory corrosion warranty, and refusing to remove it, is a deceptive practice, plain and simple. There is also a $999 "doc fee." This one is at least posted on the website listing, so credit for disclosing it, but it is still BS. North Carolina has no law requiring a dealer to charge a doc fee, so $999 is a number this dealership chose. For reference, the title and tag work on my deal, the actual government paperwork, was itemized at $113, and the real cost of processing the paperwork is under $50. Their $999 is also above the North Carolina state average of around $799. To be fair, they did discount the car. The worksheet shows $988 off which brings it to an even $20,000, and that is a perfectly reasonable price for a five year old Golf. I had no problem with the price. My problem is what they stack on top of it. A fair price should just be a fair price. Instead, once you are in, they pile on nearly two thousand dollars in fees you cannot decline, a doc fee you do not legally owe and a spray you never asked for. They offered $500 off which still means I would pay $1,500 in fluff. If you still buy here, negotiate the out the door total, not the sticker, and do not believe anyone who tells you the undercoating or the doc fee is required. Neither one is. Update: Ben Scott called me on his cell phone to berate me for this review. I asked him to point out the inaccuracies and he said they discounted it off. You see the worksheet I attached. $990 for a coating. Not sure what to tell him. Really pleasant experience from someone I hadn't previously spoken to.

I needed an oil change on my F350 and I also had some water leaking into the cab. I told them I think it might be can lights because I already checked sunroof drains. They charge $125 "diagnostic" fee and the oil change was supposed to be like $130. That would be around $200 after tax and 20% off. Of course that didn't happen and I was hit up for $300. They specifically tell you to show your coupon BEFORE service so you know they just jack up the price add extra "shop supplies" and all the other bs they add. I also question what diagnostic was done since it was only there for 2 hours max and about an hour in they called me asking if I wanted other services while they did the oil change. They just told me I needed new cab lights and they would be $800. No specifics on how they confirmed it was the cab lights and not the windshield or anything. Plus they told me the cost is so high because they had to pull the headliner to replace the lights which is simply not true. The lights come off right from the outside and if that was true that pulling the headliner is such an issue... how did they diagnose it? They certainly didn't pull the headliner in the short time they had it. Easy $125 for them. They no few people will pay the $800 so they basically do nothing and make $125. Honestly I'm not one to make a fuss so I paid it and left. I will simply never be back, definitely not for issues and not for service either. Bought replacement cab light seals for less than $20 and will replace myself.

They told me I had 7 days to bring it in and sell it. I returned on Thursday July 15 with title in hand. They pulled up the offer and agreed to the price again, and we began signing paperwork. After all the paperwork was signed and the title was signed over to them they came in the room and said they were backing out of the deal. The reason? Because the truck has a manufacturer recall. They told me I'd have to go get the recall fixed, but by the time I could get it fixed the offer will have expired and they'll be glad to reappraise it at a later date. I got a bad feeling when I first walked in, and I was cautious about the entire interaction because of this bad feeling I had. It's nice to know I should have trusted my gut. This is a shady group.
