I dropped my vehicle off at the Mr Tire o Blowing Rock Road to have a potential transmission issue diagnosed. When I returned later that day, my car was missing. After speaking with the front desk, I was informed that my vehicle had been towed by one of your drivers. Completely ignoring Mr Tire's negligence to confirm that my car was the correct one, I immediately called to ask why my vehicle had been towed only to be told that no one had towed from that Mr Tire location. I called four different towing companies after that only to be given the same answer. Eventually Mr Tire got in contact with the driver and the car was returned to me only after discussing police intervention. After the car was returned, I learned that the driver had gone to the wrong Mr. Tire location and towed the wrong vehicle entirely. The vehicle he was apparently supposed to tow was black, my car is gray. On top of going to the complete wrong location, the driver did not confirm the license plate and ignored the obvious mismatch in color. This driver completely failed to follow even the most basic verification procedures. To make matters worse, I got zero apology from the driver and was met with nothing but passive aggressiveness, and the car has driven noticeably worse since it was dropped off, shaking more than it did when I dropped it off in the morning. When I asked for the driver's name, he refused to provide it, stating that "it's not important," despite being responsible for the incident. I do. however, have a photo of him and the license plate of the tow truck he was driving. This entire situation was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. My vehicle was removed without any authorization, no confirmation, I was mislead about what had happened, and only regained possession of my car after mentioning police involvement. I will be escalating this matter and expect a response explaining how this happened and how to move forward. read more

I like these guys. they have dispatched a tow truck to me three times over the last couple years and it's always the same guy and he is great ! Then I banged up my Silverado and nobody wanted to touch it because there was damage underneath in the front engine compartment . these guys took it and got me squared away. Truck runs great. They are busy and so you probably aren't gonna get your vehicle back immediately but they did a good job on my truck. read more

I feel bad that these guys have negative past reviews. I can't speak for the tow business, but for the body shop: I just got my door buffed and re-painted after it was dented and it now looks perfect. The price quoted was much lower than others we asked and more realistic to fix a door on an old vehicle. I honestly can't tell a different between the door and the rest of the car even with concerns about the new paint makeup, good as new and now almost I wish I said "hey while you're at it take a look at..." People were nice here and timely. Will choose them again if myself or anyone else accidentally "adds character" to my car! read more

My wife called this place for a tow the other day while she had a flat; she was told it would be at least two hours before anyone could get there but being from over on the coast and not familiar with the area she went with it. But in the meantime my daughter was able to get out of class and come get them and go have the tire repaired before the tow truck came.So when my wife called back to cancel the tow and was explaining what was going on the person on the phone very rudely cut her off stating "so you don't need the tow?" And hung up on her. I have been in the body shop and towing business for 26 years And have never experienced a facility treating a potential customer that disrespectfully. read more

As a younger woman it is always a concern that businesses like this want to take advantage of you, but that was not the case here! Horrible business! Run by people who take advantage of their customers. While towing my friends car, they (accidentally) popped a hole in her tire so that it was completely flat when she went to get it at their shop. However, they LIED and said it was already popped when they towed it which was confirmed as NOT being the case. Very sketchy and dishonest people who wouldn't even look us in the eye when informing us of the popped tire. They take advantage of female students who they think won't question them and will just pay the money, but this time they were caught in a lie. Simply awful experience. read more

Awful business. How are 4 hours late for an appointment? That makes absolutely no sense. Terrible business and still charged me to get my car back after making me wait 4 hours and making me late for work. If you cannot follow up on your end of the agreement I should not have to pay. read more

They're responsible for towing in my neighborhood. I called in a tip for someone who had parked in front of my place. The tow driver showed up, and when confronted with the angry illegal parker, he told them I called and caused a confrontation that has since made my life difficult. I have not experienced their work on car bodies, so I will leave two stars instead of one. read more

i went there to get my bumpper fixed. they said it was un-fixable and could only be reaplaced along with every other part of the bumper which they were gunna charge me 900 bucks. on a family trip to texas my grandpas friend fixed it for 75 dollars.... it didnt have to be replaced. they try just say stuff like that to charge rediculous amounts read more

A nightmare all the way around. It took me 2 months to get my truck in their shop, after it was damaged by Leonard's Sheds putting in a spray-in bedliner. They said it would take 1 week, which it ended up taking 2. After the first day, they called and said that the 2 passenger side doors would need painting. I said this was covered in the estimate I got earlier - were they trying to scam me for more money? After a week, they said that it would cost more, because my long-bed extended cab truck wouldn't fit in their spray booth, and they'd have to take off the bed - is this another scam for more money, and as big of an outfit that they are, wouldn't they know this from looking at my truck, and why would they have such a small spray booth? I told them I didn't care, because Leonard's Sheds insurance was paying for it. When I picked up the truck, it was filthy, both inside and out. Sanding dust covered everything inside. There are dents that were never fixed - just painted over, and they used some kind of solvent or something that melted the plastic on my mud flaps and my rear bumper, making them white. They even left masking tape on in the bed. I expected much more from them, due to the size of their operation. These guys talk a good game, but their end product is far from professional, and one wonders about their questionable tactics of adding substantial costs, after giving an estimate. I find more flaws in the work every time I look at it - I'm just glad I didn't have to pay for it out of my own pocket. read more
