I got my Toyota Prius's front bumper fixed and he immediately fixed it and did not take any money. And the other shops and dealers had given me a several hundred dollars estimate. I forwarded it to my insurance company and received payment within a week. Contacted the shop for appointment, was informed they would let me know when my parts were delivered. 3 months later I was finally contacted about bringing in my car. I was promised that I would get frequent updates. I did not receive updates until less I called them. When I did call the person I was working with was rarely there when I called. Sometimes it took 2 voicemails to get a call back. I was often given the exact same updated weeks in rows. "Your car is going to paint today " I would call 2 weeks later. "Great news your car is going to paint today". Felt like I was given the run around. After weeks of waiting for parts one of the technicians broke a part that we waited on since the parts were ordered in October. Delaying the completion of the work on my car. Sadly I would not recommend having work done there. I wish I had taken my car elsewhere.

This place was a disaster from the beginning. My Subaru was involved in an accident in June. Let me…read morepreface my comments by saying that I grew up working in my Dad's body and paint shop. Anyway, I contacted Modern Collision almost immediately when I got my virtual repair estimate from my insurance company. I sent them an electronic copy. I was told they would order the parts right away and when they came in they would call me to bring in my car. Two weeks later - crickets. I called them and left a message - more crickets. A month after the initial contact when I had heard nothing, I drove the hour over there to talk to the person (Tanya) who was assigned to manage my job. She "assured" me the parts had been ordered, but they were having problems with their phones and the ordering system. They would call me as they expected the parts soon. MORE CRICKETS!!! It's now three months after my visit there and the assurances I was given, I NEVER heard from them again. Well, guess what? NEVER AGAIN from me. And I'm warning you now, too, so you don't make the same mistake. When it comes to customer service, this place is the worst! Do yourself a favor, take your business elsewhere. They had plenty of time and chances to make it right and they didn't even make an effort. The place I ended up taking it to (Burgess and Son in Glendale Springs) was awesome.

This year we stayed in Beech Mountain which is 45 mins from Boone. This trip had taken a turn on Saturday... my husbands new truck (purchased 4 months ago) started acting up on a mountain while we were returning to our cabin on Beech Mountain from downtown Boone (not wanting to accelerate or go into any of the higher gears). We had my 2 year old son in the truck who was sick and we were just trying to get back to our cabin. My husband pulled over and found Team Chevrolet and we started in that direction (approx 20 mins away just praying we would make it) Once we arrived at Team Chevrolet my husband met two of the most helpful individuals we have ever met! Justin and Albert were in the service office when my husband entered and after taking a moment to listen to the situation we were in (pretty much stranded with a sick child not even being able to make it back to our condo) these two guys immediately started helping us. Albert came and jumped in the truck and drove us around diagnosing the problem just in that short 10 min ride ( the transmission was ruined)! Tears came to my eyes at that moment not knowing what we would be facing after the phone call with the dealership back home provided no reassurance. Albert assured us that we would be taken care of! Once back at Team Chevrolet Justin met with us and Albert and immediately got to work on the warranty portion of the situation. Please keep in mind that the dealership is not normally open on Saturdays for new service so these gentlemen went above and beyond to help my family! Albert assured us he would have a new transmission installed by Monday at 1! Justin drove my husband around town looking for a UHAUL after calling for an enterprise rental for hours and not receiving an answer! On Monday we went back to pick up my husbands truck! When I tell you we are beyond gratefully it's an understatement! Justin had worked with GM and handled every step. Albert had replaced the transmission and re geared the truck! We were able to leave Boone on Monday afternoon only 2 days after the issue arose because of the amazing service we received at Team Chevrolet of Boone! I will drive four hours one way to purchase a vehicle from these amazing people and would recommend this dealership to everyone who will listen!

My Experience with Elevation Chevrolet GMC of Boone I…read morerecently agreed to purchase a 2024 GMC Hummer EV from Elevation Chevrolet GMC. After negotiating the price, the sales manager provided the final figures, pulled my credit to arrange financing and scheduled an appointment for 11 a.m. the following morning to complete the purchase. Believing the deal was finalized, I arranged insurance on the Hummer, spent considerable time cleaning out my Toyota Tundra for the trade-in and prepared for the drive to Boone. Then I received a text from the dealership asking if I was still interested in the Hummer and advertising an additional $600 price reduction. I immediately called the sales manager to ask why a vehicle I had agreed to purchase was still being advertised. He blamed the message on an automated AI system. Concerned, I specifically offered to put down a deposit to secure the vehicle. He assured me that someone from finance would contact me to arrange it. That call never came. Instead, at approximately 5 p.m., he called to tell me the Hummer had been sold to someone else. This came after an earlier pricing issue in which I discovered the vehicle advertised on their own website for $1,100 less than the price initially quoted to me. They eventually agreed to honor the advertised price, and we proceeded with the transaction. I understand dealerships are in business to sell vehicles, but what happened to basic customer service and accountability? We had agreed on the numbers, they had pulled my credit, I had insured the vehicle, prepared my trade-in and scheduled pickup. I even offered to put down a deposit, and they failed to follow through. If the vehicle was still available to other buyers, why wasn't I told? And why offer to arrange a deposit if nobody intended to follow through? I intend to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and share my experience on Google and other consumer-review platforms. Prospective customers deserve to know how this dealership handled a transaction that, as far as I was concerned, was ready to be completed the following morning. An extremely disappointing experience and a complete loss of confidence in this dealership.
