After finding this place on yelp, I was hesitant because there are relatively few reviews for it, but my concerns went right out the window as soon as I stepped through the doors. The inside is welcoming, clean, and modern. The staff is very small (three people total), but you can tell they have been working together for years and have a great dynamic. I had cavities filled and a deep cleaning and they made it as painless as possible (a degree of discomfort is to be expected). As someone who hadn't been to the dentist in a very long time (don't ask), coming here very much quelled my anxiety around the whole ordeal. Perla was an especially attentive and sweet assistant and she made me feel like a friend immediately. From what I've researched, the prices are only slightly above average, but the quality of care is very much worth it an more, and yes, they do accept Medi-Cal and had already approved my fillings before I even stepped through the door. I had my first appointment with this dentist yesterday. He and his staff were very friendly and helpful. First his assistant Maritza took a ton of x-rays and photos of my teeth. She was very gentle and kept my mind off what was going on by talking to me. After the x-rays, Dr. Ash came in and explained what was going on with my teeth to me. He did so in a simple and straightforward manner that helped me understand what I was looking at. He finally presented me with multiple treatment options at different price points. I usually dislike going to doctor appointments but Dr. Ash makes coming to the dentist a little less scary. We spent the first few minutes talking about sports and it really made me feel like I was just hanging out with a friend. By the time he started on my fillings I was pretty relaxed so the treatment went by fast. It seems like he does a wide variety of dental treatments as I overheard someone checking in for a root canal. Hopefully I'll never have to get one but it's nice to know that if I ever needed anything more than just a standard cleaning and fillings that he'll be able to take care of me too. Also, the cherry on top, there's a parking lot in the back! One thing I hate most about Southern California is that there is never parking and I always have to leave early for appointments to give myself enough time to find parking. I went for my first time last month and I loved my experience. I was recommend to Dr. Ash by my doctor I assist at work. First off, the office is beautiful and professional, it's so clean and elegant and I loved the touches of sport jerseys on the walls. Prior to my appointment his amazing receptionist got all my information and everything ready so when I went in we began the exam immediately. His dental assistant did a phenomenal job explaining everything she was going to do and created conversation throughout the visit so I felt comfortable. He showed me my xrays and pictures of my teeth on the tv and as we both looked he explained any findings on my teeth and showed me. He was very transparent and made sure I understood the treatment thoroughly. He answered any questions or concerns I had. I was able to complete some of my treatment the same day and was able to watch Netflix on the tv's. I felt very reassured during the treatment and I loved how Doctor kept checking on me to make sure I was comfortable.
