He worked alongside Ruth, who was incredibly attentive and on top of everything, making sure I was ready and comfortable throughout the entire visit. You can tell they make a great team. I had my procedure done and didn't feel a thing--I was honestly shocked when they told me we were finished. Dr. Gabbay clearly explained the root of the problem, which gave me so much relief. I honestly wish this could be my regular dentist because of how comfortable they made me feel. I was told by the Office staff that somebody would call me the day before my appointment to give me all the dental & copay information. They went on to say that it's an out-of-pocket express for the fancy imaging..... if they are a network doctor, wouldn't you think they'd have in networking Imaging ?? Earlier in the week I called about my appointment. Not only were they rude on the phone, they didn't address my concern. The lady on the phone stated that they would call me in basically hung up on me while I was still speaking. I called my insurance company because I was curious about in network and out network dentists. The Insurance told me BEWARE!! Even though the office might be in network, the dentist might not be! People, you need to find out who the dentist is and find out if he or she is in YOUR network. Needless to say the dental office never called me. I decided to call after hours and leave a message that I wanted to cancel my appointment for in the morning. I'm wondering why they didn't call me. Was it because they were not in network? Did they think because once I got in the office, I would say oh just do it anyway? I don't know ‍ I canceled the appointment and now I'm going to research it a little bit more. There's too many other offices out there to play games.

It went well and surprisingly didn't hurt while my gum was healing. The front desk was transparent as to what I'm expected to pay. However, they were quite off on giving their best guest estimate of how much outside pathology would charge me for evaluation. I went ahead thinking that it will just be around $100 but got a $320 invoice. It seems to me that they should be more knowledgeable about the pathology fees especially that they use the same one every time.

He finished all my fillings (I think I had 6?) on the same day that I came in for my consultation, I was out the door in under 2 hours! I am convinced he is the fastest most efficient dentist that exists. He didn't drill and then leave a bunch of times like most Dentists do. He drilled them all and then filled them all at once without leaving the room, and in record time. I am sure that if you wanted breaks in between he would have been ok with that, I just wanted to leave as soon as I possibly could. Many people have mentioned that it is a no-frills office. That is very true, it's clean but it doesn't have extra amenities. In my opinion, I would gladly forgo the amenities for a cheaper visit. The cost was about half of what I had anticipated it cost, and I paid completely out of pocket. I get a lot of anxiety with dentists so I really appreciate that I was in and out so fast, and there wasn't time for my anxiety to build. Usually, I shake and cry uncontrollably when I sit in that seat, but he had such a warm nature and he was so quick that I barely clenched the armrest (trust me, that is a drastic improvement). He is the first dentist I have ever encountered who seems to genuinely enjoy being a dentist. I also appreciate that he doesn't want to do work on your teeth unless you need it and also shows you evidence of your decay with both the mirror and your Xrays. His staff was also friendly and just great in general. I will absolutely go back, maybe even just for a cleaning now (and I never thought I would ever say that!)
