I locked myself out of my house, the least invasive way for the company technician, Mark, to get me back in was to drill out the front door dead bolt tumbler pins. However he had such trouble he ended up drilling out the whole tumbler and in the process ruining the escutcheon ring which is the decorative mounting for the lock. The bill for Kwikey Locksmith was $110 but I then had to buy a complete entry set for $145 as no manufacturer sells dead bolts separately to match complete entry sets. Had he been more careful I would have been able to buy any other dead bolt style from the same company as the original entry set and just install the tumbler section into the original mounting for $40.
