The store is quite large, it doesn't get so busy that it becomes frustrating. They often have some really great deals on with rollbacks, Ben and Jerrys for example! Mmm. However the checkout operators have now been told that they may not ask customers whether or not they want cash back. The customers have not been told that they need to ask. I am perplexed as to the reason for this policy decision. I am also told that after Christmas the tills will no longer have the cashback facility ! Does this mean that it will no longer be available at the tills? Are customers to be consulted/informed. I asked to speak to the manager yesterday but am still waiting to hear from him.
