Have been coming here since I was a child when I thought it was the biggest store I have ever seen! Now it seems tiny in comparison. They are however, always well stocked and every time I have been are never busy so it's great when you need a few things and can't face the queues of the giant store. Less of a selection of things such as homewares, but if it's basic groceries you want they have everything really, even the more random things usually reserved for larger stores. The only qualm I have is the car park is not next to the store but off down the road, and the footpath can't accommodate 2 trolleys, so can be a bit of a mare passing! Still, not really Tescos fault there. Handy, has self serve checkouts and is always quiet.

This store however is pretty good, and usually quite quiet. It has a huge multi story car park behind it as well as a street level car park which is free to patrons so its always easy to park there which is a blessing when supermarket shopping! Seeing as its not all that big they have a great section for clothes shoes and accessories, an instore pharmacy and bakery, and a good selection of products. The store is always clean and tidy and the staff are really friendly.

Considering it is so large what always surprises me about this store is it is very relaxed. The high ceilings and glass front make it very light and airy. It is quiet so if you want a large choice but don't like cramped and busy supermarkets this could be a good compromise for you. From Monday to Friday it is 24 hours so you really can turn up whenever suits you. The range of products is very good and as the store is airy the size of the place doesn't over awe you so you can mosey round without missing anything. This relaxed feeling seems to spread to the staff too. There is plenty of parking and always plenty of trolleys/baskets to hand. As it is a Tesco I find some items can be a bit pricey compared to other supermarkets in the region.

The non-food departments contain a varied selection of goods at excellent prices, while the food sections of the store are well stocked and easy to navigate. My only complaint would be that the system of switching to self-service checkouts only after 10pm (i.e. there are no manned checkouts available after that time) is a bit of a pain if you are visiting alone and have a huge trolley full of goods that you have to process all by yourself. Other than that, recommended as a relatively stress-free place to shop (well, as stress-free as supermarket shopping ever gets).

It is not a huge store but I think that Tesco are ultimately planning to extend the store. Even though its not huge it is very well stocked. They have a good fruit and veg department which is the usual good Tesco quality. They have a self serve petrol station, cashpoint and quite good parking. The store was really busy - as you would expect it to be on a Saturday and I can imagine it will be awful over the Christmas period but it is nice to have a tesco store in the town rather than having to travel to Coventry.

I was pleasantly surprised at this store. It has a nice open feel to it when you walk in with the fruit and vegetables at the front displayed in a open nice spacious manner with plenty of room to get around. It looked very inviting. I found things easy to find and the prices were great too. I did have to queue a bit at the check outs as all the tills were not open, but I think it depends what time of day you visit. There is a huge car park with no problems finding a space even though the supermarket was quite busy and there is a petrol station next door. I will definitely be using this branch again as it is easy to get to without any traffic congestion and the store has a good layout and good prices.

It is classed as a supermarket but I see it as more of a large express store. It stocks a good range of groceries but I usually end up leaving without some things that I wanted. They have a kiosk as you enter that you can pay at for a few items but is designed for papers magazines sandwiches drinks or cigarette shoppers. The staff are friendly. This store is good for a small shopping trip and the smaller size does mean you can get around quicker than going to a much larger store

A great advantage of this is in summer as it keeps the car cooler! This Tesco has just about all an extra store can offer - pharmacy, photo processing, cafe, tesco direct, car wash, cafe, recycling and a petrol station opposite. In store they have a fish and meat counter. There is also a clarge clothing section. The cafe here is very good, light, airy and the food is usually very good. It does make you want to take a drinks break! Once in store there is the usual Tesco wide range, well laid out and with helpful staff. It can get quite busy (if you want a more relaxing Tesco shop head up the road to Swiney Way, Toton). If you live in the area there is a free bus service - phone 01332 204568 for details. During the week it is 24 hours so it is very convenient, especially if you are a shift worker.
