This Tesco Superstore is quite amazing. With everything from fresh fruits and vegetables, their daily meal deals are an incredible bargain. This review focuses on their Cafe. The offerings range from items found between a Bret and a local pub. I chose the ham and cheese panini with a Coke Zero. My fellow diners chose the fish and chips and other items. As you can see from the picture, the panini appears substantial, however, inside there was only a single slice of cheese and ham. It was a pre-packaged item warmed up in a panini press. I should have known better. The store is quite substantial, so you should find everything you need in one place. All the staff I encountered were first rate and very helpful. read more

This is a Tesco Superstore in the south of Sheffield offering non-food items as well as the usual produce. There's an in-store bakery as well as fish, meat and cheese counters and they also have a chicken roaster. They tend to employ fairly young staff but they are friendly and helpful none the less. There's a free bus that goes to different areas on different days to bring people without transport to this Tesco and back home again. This is a typical Tesco Superstore which sells some non-food items such as clothing and a limited range of electrical goods as well as the usual food range. It tends to get very busy during the day at weekends, and quite often they run out of several of the basic produce such as potatoes and carrots, especially on a Sunday or if you visit in the evening. There is often a long queue for the checkout, but to be fair to the checkout staff, they are quite quick. read more

I go here every Saturday for the weekly shop, which as you may have guessed already isn't the most thrilling experience. I find that this Supermarket is pretty average in most areas, and is pretty much a template for Tesco stores throughout the country. It is a fairly large facility, and following a major refurbishment in Late 2010 it now contains an Opticians, Pharmacy and a Phone Shop. The addition of these services is quite welcome, and is a great convenience. The Car Park is quite large and free, though people caught using it for other means for over 3 hours will apparently be issued with a parking ticket. One thing I miss about the old site though is the 'Tesco Tower' pole structure, which could be seen from quite far away, but was dismantled in favour of an extension. read more

Typical Tesco store selling an extensive range of food items. It has a bakery section, deli section and clothes section too. Currently all clothes have 20% off. There is also a well priced cafee by the large windows with the best view of the car park! The parent and toddler parking is right by the entrance but there weren't any baby carrier trolleys by it when i went; annoying! You can recycle pretty much everything here at the recycling centre from plastic bags to clothes. I always find the staff in here friendly and somewhat helpful but personallly I would rather shop online! Much easier. read more

This store is located on Abbeydale Road offering the usual array of Tesco goods and prices. The store isn't particularly big for a Tesco store and it hasn't helped that the non-food stock is tightly squeezed in. When shopping for these items it doesn't make it a pleasant experience. The food side of operations is typical of any supermarket with things laid out in a logical and sensible order and the choice and range of stock is good. The prices are usually cheap and there are some very good offers to be had. The staff are helpful and friendly if they are required and the store is clean but is starting to look a little old. Paying can be a bit of a long wait if it is busy but this store does have self scan tills which can speed up the paying process. This particular Tesco is an OK store but personally I find it a bit small and could do with expanding if they want to put more non-food items in and make a visit more pleasant. read more

The store itself in my opinion is fine, goods laid out and presented well. The free bus runs past my house and stops across the road but is frequently a case of hit and miss, never knowing if it is running or going to turn up, leaving me catching a bus to another store altogether such as Morrison's - makes no difference to me as senior citizen with a bus pass, but Tesco bus would be better with regard to the amount of shopping I can carry as I can transport my shopping from the store to the bus station in a trolley, which clearly I can't do if in Morrison's. Will write to the manager regarding this issue. Can't rate it much if I can't access the store. read more
