Sainsbury's at Castle Marina continues to be a busy supermarket almost in spite of itself, mainly due its advantageous location. Parking is free, but space is tight and it always astonishes me that there aren't more accidents. Sainsbury's reputation for being pricier than the other main supermarket chains is entirely justified as far as I am concerned a weekly shop here always costs me more than it does when I visit Tesco or Asda. Unfortunately, the location is very convenient for me (see above!) The store layout is good and things are rarely moved around, which is a definite plus. The token non-food sections (clothes, toys, books, stationery, audiovisual etc.) are not particularly impressive and personally I'd rather see the space given over to a wider selection of food.
