If you are like me you will always have forgotten something on your way home from town so you can pick up a loaf of bread or a pint of milk too. The prices are a little bit more inflated than say Sainsburys or Tesco but that is what you expect from a convenience store but I don't think they are too bad. They always have offers on to tempt you in like BOGOF bottles of pop or chocolate. They do offers on Wine and beer too and occasionally on other groceries. You can always treat yourself too as they have a deli counter selling hot pies, chicken, sausage rolls, pizza slices etc and they also do sandwiches and little cartons of pasta or fruit. They are always really busy but the staff are polite and helpful and very efficient so you don't queue for long. Oh and don't forget to pick up your lottery ticket, top up your electric/gas/mobile phone and buy your magazines.

On the right is a bakery where you can buy sausage rolls, cakes, breads etc. There is also a magazine/newspaper, sweets, various condiments and much more in the store. Spar is very pricey considering a small walk away to Sainsburys would get you much more for your money. However, if you are in a rush on lunch hour, then prices aren't really too bad. Handy as its right next to the bus station.

Staff are always friendly and helpful, even in busy times! Even on Sunday mornings, they have milk bread and other stuff that other shops tend to run out of towards the end of the week. Offers mirror that of the larger Sainsburys stores & its always helpful having a local shop where I can collect Nectar points when I'm buying milk or chocolate! I couldn't recommend this shop anymore. Its a great place.

They have everything you can possibly need just in case you might run out before your next big shop. I expected it to be dear but it wasn't. They always have some ofers on like 2 bottles of wine for £5 or more expensive wine at 2 for £10. I bought 2 bottles of Jacques fruit cider for £5.50 which I thought was great as it is about that per bottle at Sainsburys. They have a good line of newspapers and magazines plus don't forget you can buy your lottery ticket there and if you need to top up your electric or gas or even your mobile phone you can do it there too. I was in there the other day and wanted some coffee but it was right up on a high shelf near the counter so I had to ask the lad behind the till to get it for me. He was more than happy and he is nearly 7ft tall so it was no problem to him.
