(I had no easy way to do this myself; my mobile web decided to give me the finger at about the same time.) Brought my computer in the morning after this fiasco started, and explained the situation. Voree did an amazing job. I did not feel ripped off by their service charges (I almost always feel ripped off by computer repair). They did not mess around or try to upsell. I didn't have anything very complex to fix, just a laptop that died on me and I needed a diagnosis that didn't cost an arm and a leg. I wanted to erase the hard drive before recycling it because I was pretty sure it was not worth trying to repair it. I'd researched the common problems with my particular model of Acer Aspire (overheating) and wasn't sure if it was worth trying to replace parts (only to not have them work). At first Matthew thought he could salvage the machine but the same problem of overheating kept happening while he was working on it. So he informed me it wasn't worth it, and just got my data, music, photos, and downloads off the hard drive (for which I paid $50). If he were able to repair the machine, he said it would've cost me $160. I trust these guys. Matthew is a genius. Service is so fast and so professional. They also have great deals on refurbs, ie: Mac desktop for $380 (wowza), Sony Vaio for $500, etc.

The staff demonstrated to me that my computer turned on and worked fine, and they didn't charge me for any service since nothing needed to be fixed (Best Buy could never).
