I gave this company two tries. The first time I went there they took over a month to schedule an appointment for a filling. I called and asked why I haven't been called to schedule an appointment and they said it wasn't approved through my insurance yet. I got so frustrated so I called my insurance company and found out that I was approved 3 days later. They argued with me and said that they did not get an approval yet. So I provided the confirmation approval number and they still argue that they didn't get no confirmation. I let it go and let them fill in my tooth a 1month and 1weeks later. A couple months later that tooth filling came out. On January 10th 2025 I went in and they told me I would have to wait again for an approval to fill in the tooth. I noticed it was going on three weeks again so I took it upon myself to call my insurance again. Turns out it was approved the NEXT DAY on January 11th. I explained to my insurance what was going on and she said would you like me to three-way them and let them know that your approval was approved. And let me tell you how awkward that's conversation was. The Asend receptionist kept saying they didn't receive the approval and my insurance kept telling her we approved it the next day! This is the second time this has happened and it was only for a tiny filling. Like seriously I feel bad for people who are in serious pain and have to wait for an (approval) that has been already approved. They are slackers and I don't appreciate that. Unless you wanna wait for over a month to get your teeth worked on I highly suggest you don't go there! read more

Both Doctors here are such kind people. They listen to your concerns. They will not only tell you your treatment that's needed but will show you and explain why. Very neat and clean and they make you feel comfortable. Staff is always kind from the front to back staff. read more

I would not recommend anyone to go to this dental office, I sent my dad here to get approval for dentures in May and was told it would be 4-6 weeks approval. In June, I was told it was denied. I never got a notice by medical that it was denied. They resubmitted this, and still haven't gotten approval. I called them back on 8/18 asking for some sort of reference number because if medical denies you, you would definitely get a denial letter. I finally was able to call medical, they verified that it was approved back on 6/12. I then called the office today, and the receptionist has been very rude and lacks customer service. When someone complains, or let out their frustration, the person should listen. Myra cuts you off and doesn't listen, makes you feel unimportant and not valued. Not to mentioned, she laughed, and I told her it was not funny to laugh and she said she was laughing at the situation. She needs some serious training. That was very rude and disrespectful. I will probably be taking my dad elsewhere. If they don't want our business because it is medical, thats fine. We can go somewhere else. I asked to speak to the manager or the dentist and she said the manager was not there and the dentist do not talk to patients on these kind of issues. She also said medical doesnt tell them when its approved, which is a lie. if they tell you its denied, then they tell you its approved. read more

Ascend dental is such a good spot to go to especially if you have medical, very clean and fancy office. Workers were great with my three year old - even gave her an award with stickers for having no cavities! Very nice people. Definitely recommend ! read more

As a former dental assistant I would not recommend this office. Run Away! My last cleaning appointment, I let Dr. and assistant know my concerns, I have a chip on my tooth and kept addressing it to them and they had no care in the world. Didn't even let me know if I needed treatment. Also wanted to add that half way through my cleaning both dr. and assistant stop and tell me my insurance isn't active? Would've been nice to know before sitting in the chair. Won't be going back there again! read more

Should have wrote this review sooner. Went to this dentist when I had to get a root canal back a year and a half ago. Had medical at the time so they seemed like a good option. Since I finally got new insurance went to a new provider in the Bay Area. When the last visit I had with ascend dental care they told me I needed 3 root canals and as one would think over time they would get worse. When I seen my new dentist they stated I had no cavities and no root canals. This place is just looking to make money I find it appalling any company could do this to you beware. read more

Went here after my childhood Dentist Dr. Dibari retired and I guess sold his practice. Not a fan of the new office. I initially went in because a tooth was bothering me. I walked out with a diagnosis of early stages of gingivitis, was told that my gums were receding and that I was already on my way to developing gum disease. They then proceeded to lay out a plan for me to keep going back to them to prevent these things from getting worse. Something just didn't feel right and it put me off from going to the dentist for almost over a year. Over a year later I found a different dentist at Bluewater Dental. Dr. Nguyen at Bluewater saw me and said my teeth and gums were all perfectly healthy but that he'd need to do a new groundbreaking procedure to help me with my tooth pain: a filling and toothpaste for sensitive gums. Dr. Nguyen said to give it 2 weeks and if I was still experiencing discomfort to let him know and then he'd have to try something else. A few weeks later, though most of my issues had been resolved I was still experiencing some discomfort with my tooth, so I went back to see Dr. Nguyen. He checked me out and said the filling looked good and to try this: put a bit of the toothpaste for sensitive gums on my finger and rub it onto my tooth where the filling was twice a day, for 2 weeks. I tried Dr. Nguyen's recommendation and since then, over 1 year later, I have not had any issues with that tooth or my gums. Do with this information what you will, but imo there are far better options than this office. read more

My experience here was awkward and uncomfortable, thanks to Dr. Ruben Santos. I went in and everything was going smooth until Dr. Santos said he was going to put fluoride in my mouth. I asked him in the nicest way if he could not do that and he initially said he has to. Then, realizing that it's completely my choice to whether I want fluoride on my teeth or not, he rudely goes on telling me that there are no proofs that fluoride is bad for you but if I don't want it, it's my choice. I kindly told him I understood his point of view but I just wanted to be on the safe side. He strangely got really offended and said, "You want to stay on the safe side, so you're saying that fluoride is dangerous." I tried to explain to him what that phrase meant but he just repeated the same thing. He also said, "If it was dangerous, I wouldn't have given it to my daughter." He is very unprofessional and made me feel very uncomfortable. Why does he even care, it's my mouth! I ended up asking for his personal email so that we can clear things up because I didn't want to make things awkward for my next appointment. I sent him a respectful email but never got a response and I just decided to keep my cavities and to cancel my next appointment. My sincere advice to everyone is, DO NOT GO HERE!! read more

Initially I had gone to Dr. DiBari who occupied that office for the longest time, sadly he retired and Santos, husband and wife took over! So today was actually my first time going to the office with these two new doctors! First off, I was running late, and I called the office, i'm not quite sure who picked up but the staff is so friendly, warm and welcoming. I remember Stefani from Dr. Dibari's office and she is so sweet and nice. She even remembered me and asked about my family. Overall, the whole experience, from start to finish, from customer service to the cleaning to x-ray to drilling and filling. I was pleasantly pleased with everyone there. They wont take you in even if your 5mins late. I have broken tooth an scheduled last week along with a really bad cavity that is affecting thw nerves in my gums . Turning away from customer that has an emergency is disrespectful I dont recommend this place to any one! read more
