Deciding to go with general anesthesia was the wise choice since it took under 1hr, after the surgery there was only slight swelling and minimal pain (Dr. Hutto gave me pain prescription but it wasn't necessary, I have low pain tolerance and that's saying something). They also did a follow up to make sure everything was healing well and if I have further questions to give them a call. They'll provide a care package after post op, (instructions, irrigation syringe, gauze, cold press) 10/10 recommended. Thank you MOS!

The front desk was so rude and treated me like I was a bank robber!! They initially told me they were running behind (not my problem) and that i had 5 minutes or they would have to reschedule!! They Kept looking at me, whispering at each other and made me very uncomfortable. I know good customer service is hard to come by at $20 bucks an hour, but again they should know how to treat people with kindness. I was promptly taken back for X-rays and Dr. Barber came and went over the plans for the surgery. I received phone calls and text messages notifying me of my prescriptions and instructions for the day of surgery. On the day of surgery, I arrived and was given great patient education by Vicki. She totally helped alleviate my anxiety by explaining what sounds or feelings I may experience during the procedure. The procedure took about an hour with the assistance of Mary and Vicki. Everything went well. Later that evening, I also received a text message following up to see how I was feeling. I have a follow up appointment in about three weeks. Overall, great experience.

The office was very clean and the office staff was courteous and friendly. It's nice walking in and having people smile and greet you. Dr. Walls is very kind and has excellent interpersonal skills. I was in and out in about 30 minutes and was able to schedule an appointment for oral surgery with only a 3 week wait. The surgery scheduler was kind and gave me a great range of dates and times. The procedure was only about $430 out of pocket (my insurance covered 80%) which was way cheaper than any other place in town. One place wanted me to pay $2,000 out of pocket. I went in for my visit for my teeth extraction on Monday and was out in under an hour. Dr. Walls played my favorite music while I was getting the teeth removed and my meds were done by the time I arrived at the pharmacy. I highly recommend Dr. Walls if you have teeth that need to be removed or want implants.

I have been a patient at Dr. Rosenbaum and Associates for roughly 20 years, which makes it…read moredisappointing to write this review, but the practice has changed dramatically and not for the better. Over two decades, I have seen more than 10 different dentists come and go. That level of turnover alone suggests there are internal culture issues. About 10 years ago, one dentist told me I had decay visible on an X-ray and recommended a crown. I agreed. After grinding my tooth down to a nub, he said to the assistant, "Huh, there is no decay." That procedure still cost me around $600 out of pocket even with insurance. I filed a formal complaint with the office manager at the time. That manager is no longer there either. In the past couple of years, the entire staff has been replaced. My longtime hygienist left, and I was assigned a new one. She was very young but polite and did a decent job. I would rate her about a 7.5 out of 10. The issue is not the individual staff members. It is the overall experience and direction of the practice. This office used to feel welcoming. Everyone knew my name, and I knew theirs. It felt personal. Now it feels like a corporate assembly line. Even the patient volume seems to reflect this change. Years ago, parking was difficult to find and the waiting room was full. Now there are plenty of open parking spaces and far fewer patients waiting. At every visit, they now require you to complete a full medical history on an iPad, even if you have been a patient for decades and nothing has changed. I found this intrusive and asked if I could opt out and simply notify them of any changes, especially since I was only there for X-rays and a routine cleaning. The staff member handing me the iPad rolled her eyes and walked away. Another staff member later told me they would not see me unless I completed it and claimed this was required by federal HIPAA law. After researching this myself, I learned this is their internal policy, not a legal requirement. In other words, I was misinformed. I would have absolutely disclosed any relevant health changes, particularly anything that could affect anesthesia, even though no anesthesia was being used that day. The interaction felt unnecessary, cold, and dismissive. After that visit, I canceled my next appointment and booked with a new dentist closer to my home. I am genuinely looking forward to a fresh start. It is unfortunate to walk away after 20 years, but this practice no longer feels like the place it once was.

My husband just went here today as a new patient with a DHMO plan. Yes, we know it's not a great…read moreplan but it came with his Medicare. I thought this office would be a good choice because I know the Dentist from a previous office. They sent him home with his treatment plan for a "deep cleaning" at no cost to him due to his plan benefits. However, they added on 2 services for antimicrobial rinses at $125 each. Where it is standard practice to do these rinses with this type of cleaning, it is absolutely not standard practice to charge a patient for these rinses and being on a DHMO or PPO plan is not allowed to be charged to the patient. When I called the office to question them about this the receptionist spoke to me at length trying to convince me otherwise. When I informed her I have first hand knowledge of dental billing practices from my 40 years in the dental field and that I would be reporting this to our insurance she then said she didn't see any permission from my husband in his file to speak to me about his treatment. I reminded her that they were fine to speak with me for his appointment scheduling, paperwork completion and on this call as well up until I told her this info. She said she will have the office manager call my husband to discuss this. I told her that would be fine as she will end up speaking with me. I text to ask for an email to send his power of attorney to and no reply as of yet. This is not an office my husband will be returning to for any services and frankly I am disappointed in these practices of charging patients this way that in my opinion are underhanded and take advantage of patients who have no knowledge otherwise.

The doctor informed me that it was a cyst and advised us to have the baby tooth removed. I let the office know that my son had history of intense anxiety when it comes to dental treatments, and if they are able to work with him, we could try to proceed. To my surprise, they pushed for treatment the following day, which was Halloween, of all days, or the next appointment was going to be much further out. Weighing between the two options, I brought my son in the next morning even though it was a kid's holiday. They brought my son in to start the treatment and demanded that we provide the team with our steam deck. I don't know why the doctor was very fixated on the steam deck but I handed it over. They could not figure out how to use it properly, and at some point, brought me into the room to console my son who was in full tears. Even though my son was in complete distraught, the dental assistant could only provide me with reasons why a clinic full of adults could not figure out how to calmly treat a 10-year-old who has a history of dental anxiety and it somehow failed because the steam deck and/or my son was incompliant. Once my son had a chance to calm down at home, I asked him what happened and he let me know that the doctor had asked him irritably if he wanted to waste my money by not cooperating. At that point, my son felt even worse and broke down crying inconsolably. I was surprised that the doctor disappeared shortly after failing to treat my son and never made an attempt to communicate about what had happened. And his dental assistant felt comfortable shifting all blames on an anxious 10-year-old in full tears. And when I request for a full refund of the nitrous oxide that was never administered since the treatment could not even start because they tried to bully my son into submission, no response or refund has been provided to date. They incorrectly spell my son's name on the account despite the fact that his name was provided in the intake forms. We also received a second opinion that the swelling didn't appear to be a cyst but an extraction would still resolve whatever that issue is. I am under the impression that my son was not accurately diagnosed, and the tooth extraction was the default remedy. Therefore diagnosing my son with a cyst would eliminate further need to diagnose his gum swelling. Considering how poorly the team handled a child with anxiety and possibly misdiagnosing my son, I would not recommend this office to any kids who aren't comfortable with dental treatments. I do not find this office meeting professional or ethical standards. It was a waste of our time and money. And a lot more unnecessary trauma for an already anxious child.

Healed quickly and with very little soreness at all, which makes me feel as though it was a quality job. Been a month and there have been no follow up complications. Easy to work with. Had no trouble scheduling. They helped navigate my insurance. It wasn't a complicated procedure, but stuff like that is never fun for anyone. My kid was a little nervous at the thought of having this done, but she felt fine from start to finish - I believe because of the way they worked with her. It was a very supportive and easy-going experience from start to finish for both of us and as a parent I highly recommend Dr. Walls.
