Unbelievable. Staff and the doctor. We've been going to this office for over fifteen years and have NEVER had a problem. Just had a crown put in, my first, and felt ZERO discomfort. Throughout the procedure, they told me what they were about to do, what to expect, and the crown is perfect. A bit of discomfort that evening, but gone the next morning. Been coming here to see Dr. Leon Guerrero for MANY years I just LOVE her she's profesional and caring I had to move not by choice and still come to see her from MS/TN area. You won't be disappointed she's gentle and caring, she'll even ask you to let her know if at any time you're uncomfortable which is rare she'll numb you up right the first time and she'll give you a break if you need it. I spent a small fortune (for me) at a dentist in San Francisco hoping to have teeth that will go to the grave with me. After three years the crowned teeth began to snap off at the root line! Feeling ripped off, I searched all over for a dentist I could trust. My friends in Modesto recommended "Dr. Jennifer" to me. Although I live and work in San Francisco, I chose to have extensive dental work done here and am so glad I did! From scheduling to paying my bills to getting teeth extracted and finally having removable dentures installed, everything was flawless and I was treated respectfully and professionally. I had checked with Clear Choice and they estimated $52,000 for a whole mouth full of implants! I know Dr. Jennifer could have sucked more money from me but her treatment plan was sensible, realistic and thrifty. Moreover, it has left room for the future in case I decide on implants or if another crowned tooth fails. In the mean time, I am thrilled with my new smile. Nobody knows I have partials. I can't recommend this dental practice enough. They have the latest technology, the office is clean, they practice hygiene, and they have the two things I was looking for - skill and integrity! I was a patient of Dr. Guerrero for about 10 years. Sadly, my job relocated and I was unable to continue being her patient. This was disappointing because I have been to about 7 dentists in my life. Without a doubt, Dr. Guerrero was the best. Her staff was the best. The means by which she ran her office was unsurpassed in my experience. I had a horrible dental experience at a young age which scarred me. I hated dentists. I loathed even the most simplest procedures. Dr. Guerrero overcame my hang-ups and made me believe in what they do. Without reservation I recommend her for your dental needs. She is very attentive to the needs of her patients and she ensures her staff does the same. As an example, I have a small mouth and keeping my mouth open for extended periods of time hurts. Many dentists don't give a rip, but Dr. Guerrero would make sure I could rest my mouth until I was comfortable. There was no pressure of hurrying-up my appointment so she could move on to the next person. No pressure and professional through and through. read more

I am beyond speechless with the WONDERFUL experience I just had at Dr. Leon-Guerrero's office. I knew I needed a lot of dental work, but had put it off like most do. Partially because my insurance is garbage, and mainly because I don't like the uncomfortable feeling of a stranger messing around in my mouth. A good friend told me about Dr. Leon-Guerrero when I expressed my need for dental work on my front teeth. I knew I needed expensive work, mainly cosmetic for the front. I made an appointment and got in the same week. When I walked in I was greeted by a lovely smiling lady, who knew me by name even though I had never been there before. Very cool. She was SO friendly! This broke that nervous feeling right away for me. I filled out the necessary paperwork and was in the back within 5 minutes. The office is amazingly gorgeous and SO well kept. I could tell instantly that Dr. Leon-Guerrero really takes pride in her practice. Once in the back, a total sweetheart named Sherry asked me about my concerns, and told me what she would be doing before she did it. This is so important to me. She made sure I was comfortable the whole time. She is so personable and makes you feel like you've known her forever! She gently took my x-rays and Dr. Leon-Guerrero came in. I must say, I've never had the type of treatment from ANY dentist that I had from her. WOW. She is so thorough and really spent time weighing my options. I NEVER felt pressured, actually I felt like she had my best financial interest at heart. The only thing that is annoying and angers me is that I didn't go to Dr. Leon-Guerrero sooner. I wish everyone could have this type of treatment when going to the dentist. Thank you so much to the staff at Dr. Leon-Guerrero's office and to her personally. I used to love going here until most recently! I was in for a normal cleaning. The hygienist as rough! She pokes me twice which made my gums bleed. Doctor game in said thinks were inflamed. You think? I went home and my mouth developed blood blisters near both areas she poked. I went back was charge a ridiculous amount for her to tell me it was not their fault. I had a serious break out of Lichen Planus. This was never mentioned when the teeth were cleaned. She had to put me on a fungus medication and steroids for the pain. They wanted to clean my teeth more often? I went to an ENT to see what could be done about the Lichen Planus and he said what? Your gums look amazing. What happened was during the cleaning they caused your gums to be infected. I see no signs lo Lichen Planus at all! The anti fugal would not help anyway, which proves it was a infection. They lied to me to cover up what really happened. I will be leaving this practice an never have a nice thing to say again about any of their staff. read more

At the recommendation of a friend, I went to Dr Guerrero for some general dentistry I was overdue for. She had a great chairside manner and did a good job. Then I let her talk me into some cosmetic dentistry, and it didn't turn out well at all. She didn't glue the cap on a front tooth correctly and it fell off within a week, and she put in a bridge to cover a missing tooth rather than a post as I asked for (I was paying out of my pocket, I want what I want), and it was installed incorrectly. She overcharged for prepwork that was already done, when confronted by this she got ugly. Very ugly. I ended up at another dentist to redo most of the work. She's ok with general dentistry, but go to a cosmetic dentistry professional for cosmetic work. read more

I had been taking my family to another dentist in the area for 24 years but when he quit practicing I had to find another dentist. Because I was very happy with my previous dentist I was quite skeptical of any new dentist. Oh, how wrong I was. I went to Dr Leon Guerrero in the early 90's when I lived in Modesto. I moved up north and didn't want to drive the seven + hours to get to her office so I tried to find another dentist. I AM SO SORRY I DID. After trying numerous dentists I have come to realize that I made a huge mistake. Seven hours is not to far for a GREAT dentist. I am calling her office to see if she has any openings for new/old patients, I will wait for an opening if she doesn't have one. If you don't have a dentist or you have a bad dentist (there are many out there)call Dr Jennifer Leon Guerrero. You will save yourself pain, time, money and get beautiful teeth...and feel safe and secure knowing you have the best dentist in Northern California. Updated - July 2, 2015 Dr. Leon-Guerrero now can make crowns for implants right in her office. I am totally annoyed at the review given by Russ N.. His review is so far from any truth I have seen with Dr. Leon-Guerrero's office that I am skeptical Russ N. is a real person. I have been going to Dr. Leon-Guerrero for about ten years. Dr. Leon-Guerrero and her office staff have NEVER been anything but professional. The doctor has performed beautiful, detailed work on my teeth - and because of bad dental care in my youth, I have serious issues. Dr. Leon-Guerrero has always patiently explained all the options and the possible outcomes. And she listens carefully to what I want to accomplish - which is why Russ N.'s review is suspect. She is excellent "with the needle" as my friend Paul says about her. (He goes to her even though she is out of his insurance network and it costs him extra - and he is usually extremely frugal). She has even come in on weekends when I had an emergency crop up. I can always reach her by phone, and her staff is delightful and very good at what they do. Her entire staff has been with her as long as I have been going to her. I think that says a great deal about her as a person, as well as a doctor. Her office is also very modern and state of the art - although I have a brother in Malibu whose dentist can make the artificial teeth right there in the office, and she doesn't have that. read more

I live in Tuolumne County, but it is so-o worth the 75-minute drive to have my dental treatment done by Dr. Leon-Guerrero. She is the best dentist I have ever had (and I'm 68 years old and have seen, probably, 10 dentists in my lifetime). Her support staff of dental assistants and hygienists has to be "The A Team" of dentistry! (Sherry, Susan, Martha, Mary, Jennifer, Keri and Amy -- I LOVE ya!). My family were patients of Dr. Guerrreros for years until four years ago when she told us that my child had 4 cavities. 1 year earlier she said my child had two cavities i was surprised because she hadn't had a cavity before and had great oral hygiene but i believed her and. paid her to fill the alleged cavities This time i took her along with the x-rays from Dr Guerros office to another dentist who said she had no cavities. Confused and wanting to get to the bottom of this i took her to yet another dentist who also said there were no cavities. to this day she hasn't had a single filling cavity nothing. She continues to have her teeth cleaned every 6 months had her wisdom teeth out a couple years ago but perfect checkups. Hmmm what a mystery. read more
