Got some alterations done on a suit that my daughter needed for a school competition. Chose this place over others around because of mostly good reviews and the name being ASAP suggesting they can do rush orders. There is parking in the back of the building but the entrance is before the building and thru a rather narrow passage. A but tight for a big van. There is free municipal parking lot right before this building for bigger vehicles. Went in on a Thurs shortly before closing and requested pickup on Monday. Went in around 11am on Mon to pick up the clothes, but they weren't ready. Was told the person only works certain days and it is next in line. Come back after 200pm. They could have easily told me to return after 200pm on Monday when we left the clothes, but they didn't so i had to make an extra out to Wahiawa. The coat and pants fit well after the alterations, so that was good. The workers were very nice. Review would have been rated a 4 or maybe a 5 if not for the poor customer service about the pickup time. read more

Very unprofessional! Brought a dress in on September 17th. They said it would take a week. It's October 4th. The price we paid for the alteration of the dress was $151 bucks. My husband took the price. I wasn't there or I would have said absolutely not. We paid $6 dollars for the dress at Salvation Army!! I want to get a discount on the price because the event is already over!!! I will never use them again. Still waiting for the dress. Update: I called today, October 5, 2026. Called 3 times, no answer. On the 4th try, someone finally answered. I asked why I was never called regarding the dress I dropped off. The lady on the phone said sorry but we do not call customers. I asked her when the dress was done, she said last week. Still that is 2 weeks, not 1 like she stated it would be done!! Please do not use this company! read more

There was an alteration shop that was in Wahiawa for at least the better part of 40 years and their prices were reasonable. They recently closed and I took it to this shop, definitely exploiting the fact that they're the only alterations place nearby. Crazy ridiculous price to hem my pant. I hemmed 2 pants at the old shop for the same price as the one here. I'm finding another shop even if it's not nearby. read more

Forget the bad reviews--ASAP Alterations is officially our new go-to! My husband needed a fast fix after his usual spot closed down, and boy, did they deliver. The team was so friendly and handled his sewing and pressing request incredibly fast. When I went for pickup, the staff was just as welcoming. Total hidden gem. Quick tip: use the park-and-ride; it's an easy walk! We'll absolutely be back! read more

I figured I support local and try this place out since it's been in wahiawa for a long time. I dropped off 3 work pants to be hemmed 2 inches and paid $60 dollars. When I went back to pick them up they gave me a batch of clothes that wasn't even mine and my husband had to go back to get the right clothes. Then come to find out they didn't even hem my pants!! I got ordered two more of the same pants and compared them and it's all the same length same sewing ! What a rip off! read more

It was recommended and it was really easy on short notice. I got a dress for a wedding and it was too big for me. I took it on Wednesday and had it ready by Friday. I was so glad they squeezed me it. I highly recommend this place. read more

If you need alterations done ASAP, then ASAP Alterations is your #1 resource to go to! I had a last minute alteration that I needed the same day for a photoshoot. I was so unprepared for my biography photo because I literally forgot to have my most recent rank patches sewn own to my blues and I was panicking. I found ASAP Alterations on Yelp and gave them a try since I was in dire need of their service and prior reviews stated that they were super quick with their work. I was in Salt Lake at the time and they are located all the way in Wahiawa. I made the drive anyway and I'm so glad I did. They are located on the right side of the road when going into Wahiawa and they have a small parking lot that's a one way drive in on the side of their building. *** I actually called ahead before heading down to ask if they would be able to do it within the hour and they said yes. I called multiple places too before I finally made the choice to see them. When I walked through the door, the shop itself had an old "mom and pop shop" feel to it and didn't look the cleanest. The seamstresses were all Asian and the place looked kinda run down but I still chose to hand them my blues uniform and hoped for the best. I told the lady my basic needs and handed her the patches too. I only needed her to sew on 2 patches, 1 on each arm. I asked how long it would take and she said 30 minutes. **I was soo relieved to hear this!!** She then told me I could wait on the side and she gave me a chair to sit on. I played on my phone a bit and she went right to work. Before you know it, she was done within those 30 minutes and I was excited to see her bring the finished product over to me. She showed me her work and I was happy. For payment, the shop takes both card and cash. They had an ATM inside their shop too if you need one. This fast patch job only cost $25 or so and I tipped her too. I left the shop with my completed uniform and made it to my photoshoot on time with a successful biography photo taken. Although this shop wasn't in top shape, I would like to describe my experience with the common saying, "Don't judge a book by its cover." My rating is because of their great customer service and quick but quality work. While I waited for my uniform to finish, there were at least 5 other military service members that walked in to pick up their uniforms. This shop is really popular with the military personnel in the area and it shows. They didn't disappoint at all and I would come back for their services again. Thank you so much ASAP Alterations! read more

Horrible! Needed a dress hemmed and cleaned for Sunday and dropped it off Friday. Kind of soon I know but they still said they could do it and that they would call when it was ready for pickup, never called and when I realized they were about to close I rushed over but the place was closed and empty on the dot. Waste of money and don't even have an outfit for a wedding on Sunday! read more

I needed to get my USMC Service Alphas Coat and trousers altered before I left Oahu. The service and staff were extremely helpful and prompt when it came to getting measurements done. I felt a hundred times better just seeing the alterations about to get done, in the mirror. For the quality work done in a very fast window, nobody can compete with the more than fair price and quality they provide! I highly recommend you do all your uniform alterations done here! read more

This place only works with military patches , looking for anything else best to go down the street, these old Filipinas don't care about locals . There over priced , rude and don't care about your requests ! PLEASE DRIVE DOWN THE ROAD AND SUPPORT THE OTHER ALTERATIONS! read more

Dry Cleaning for uniform inspection and promotion ceremony, or alteration for fitter and sexier look at the board, look no further than this location. It is conveniently located right outside the gate near Wheeler Army Airfield. You read the sign that says same day service, that is for real; though I personally have not tried the same day service. But when first sergeant says in the formation today, ASU inspection tomorrow, you already know where to go, it is in the name ASAP Alteration. I have had services done here few times, and I don't see any improves. Price is reasonable, obviously more expensive than other alteration across the Nation. Parking lot is on the side. It can get busy sometimes, but hey, that is life. The staff are very courteous and expert at what they do. I do support middle class businesses and this business is one of them. I will come back for more services. read more

$130 for just hemming, ridiculous. Don't go here unless you want to be overcharged and then given an excuse. There's cheaper options elsewhere, do yourself a favor and save yourself. read more

I went to get my favorite, bougie expensive baby sling refreshed at their dry cleaners before our trip to mainland and I want to cry because my husband handed me the white sling with blue green stains all over and completely different material quality. Just a heart sink. read more

ASAP Alterations is the place to go to take care of all your alteration needs. ASAP not only takes excellent care of the Military but they also take care of their local community. I needed a pair of jeans took up in the waist as well as hemmed. I needed them ready for next day pickup. The ladies their were professional and willing to assist me with my requests. When I picked up my pants, one word...perfect. I will always choose ASAP as my Alteration Specialists! read more

I picked up my husband's uniform today. They did not follow directions and stained his uniform. Never going back again.

I went to ASAP because my previous Tailor did not keep her word when offering to correct a mistake. Also got tired of trying work my schedule around hers. Kinda hard to pick up my items by 1pm when I get off of work at 3:30pm. Also tired of waiting 2 weeks for items to be ready. I drop off my items and pick up a couple of days later. Glad I switched. read more

I love this place . They are very fast and work is excellent. I have been in for dress blues before, suits , jackets and gotten them fitted. This place is the best in Wahiawa. read more

I used them few times, they are not only overpriced but prices are pulled out of the anus, and may differ depends on who you talk to or what day, for the same exact work. The quality of the job and customer service is questionable. The language barrier is hard to miss. I believe there are three reasons they were able to survive and thrive: location, location, and location; they are right outside of the gate and get plenty of business from service members who don't bother to shop around. read more

My husband needed his uniform dry cleaned and set up. He specifically told them to set up the short-sleeved shirt. He gave them all of his stuff in a zip lock bag so it was all together. He picked them up today and the JACKET was set up, but the rank was on the shirt and not the jacket. Also, he gave them one set of rank (for the shirt he needed set up) but somehow he ended up with another set of rank on the long sleeve shirt? He also ended up with an extra ribbon from someone else too. PLUS the shirt that was SUPPOSED to be set up was wrinkled. So in short: got his stuff mixed up with someone else's, set up the wrong part of the uniform, AND was wrinkled. Thankfully we got some of our money back, but still. He needed this last minute, and now he's having to set it up himself even though he paid for it to be done. read more

Place is horrible. People are unable to sew straight on name tapes. Got a hole in the asu top when making a rank change from e 4 to e5 making the top unserviceable . Pants alteration is also horrible with visible sew lines where the pants was altered.how this place has 4 stars remains a mystery and should be black listed. read more

I came here because I needed more room in the shoulder area of my ASU jacket. Another alterations place down the street told me that they couldn't do it, and that I would just have to buy a new jacket. ASAP was able to do it and they did a great job. The customer service was great. I used to go to the other place down the street, but after another bad experience I'm sticking with ASAP. read more

Great customer service. I come here to get my pants hemmed and for dry cleaning. The people that work here are really sweet and get the job done well. read more

ASAP Alteration - Yelp hours are wrong! Here are the latest as of 8/4/17 - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Wahiawa, Hawaii

They are quick and quality. They do sewing and sell your awards for your dress blues. Do name tapes and all you will need.

I came here to get my backpack strap fixed and a pocket restitched it came out perfectly and fast before work and at a reasonable price . This is the place you want to go for all your alteration/sewing needs! read more

Just got a botched uniform job here. Word of advice... Pay after, or else they'll charge you more for them to "fix it". The language barrier is a huge thing. I was told that they understood something completely different. Now my brand new uniform is trash. Ouch $$ read more

I took a brand new pair of Madewell jeans in for a stain to be removed. When I got the jeans back a few days later, the original stain was gone however, a brand new stain on the front of the jeans had appeared. It seemed as though the metal zipper somehow had its color removed and had run onto the jeans. The leather tab on the back had been completely destroyed, with the stained leather's coloring running onto the jeans. Very poorly taken care of & I would not recommend trusting your pricey clothes here. read more

My wife went here and bothered her pants were slanted and one leg shorter than the other ruining 2 $70.00 pair of pants. The squabbled over it and tried to say my wife's leg was shorter than the other but they measured it to begin with and her leg is not shorter than the other. Almost didn't give her her money back wanted to only give her half. They do a lot of military uniforms and there gonna squabble over $35.00 read more

I'll never come here again. Lost my name plate, work wasn't done on time even though I brought in my stuff the day before and I asked for rush service and arguing about where my badges go let me know that I'm done with this place. They were cool before I deployed. Don't know what happened.. read more

Great customer service I have been to them numerous times with 0 issues. They dry clean my uniform fast and comes out perfect every time! Also I usually pay the lady to setup my ASU's with all my awards and she does it quickly and to standard thanks read more

Husband brought uniform for our army ball, set up was supposed to be on jacket, not shirt. Missing items, and still had to pay. Never again.

Went in to get two simple pants shorten. One pants was shorten 1inch more than where it was pined and the other pants is all the way up to my lower shin. Wtf First and last time. Enter at you own risk read more

This place is horrible I should've checked yelp before even taking my daughters highschool winterball dress here to do one little thing (bring the slit from 5 inches above the knee to under the knee) they said they could do it for three dollars then when we picked up the dress charged $15. I don't mind paying the extra if it was worth it but just to close up five inches on a dress and then give a quote in the beginning just baffles me. Mind you the stitching isn't even clean it looks like a beginner did it. On top of that my daughter spotted a hole when we got home above the stitching. They're the worst!! Never ever ever going to them again. They deserve zero stars F for no effort read more

Decent customer service and they do on the spot alterations and 24 hour dry cleaning, which comes in handy. Called a few places and they were one of the only places to do it. read more

For the alterations I had (sewing military patches on a new uniform and tapering the jacket) and dry cleaning, I am surprised by how much I paid! I honestly thought the cost would be HALF of what I paid. If you're military, just stick to the base alterations/dry cleaning. read more

Never coming here again, lost my name plate, unit ribbons and signal crest. Still had to pay for all of it.

OVERPRICED! I went in there for measurements only. That's it. Nothing more than them to measure 5 different spots. They didn't even have to write it down. Just tell me what it was. The first lady said $5. Which to me seemed reasonable. Then another lady came out and said $15. She was very rude. Even the first lady knew that was unreasonable. I left without my measurements. They didn't seem to care. I would've paid $5. He'll, I probably would've paid $10... but come on! $15 for 3 minutes? Complete ripoff. Obviously a failing business. read more

Prices for dry cleaning non uniform items are very high. They do quality alterations and repairs and are always very nice and friendly.

Went here after it was recommended by one of the guys at Aloha Dry Cleaners. I assumed since Aloha is so awesome and their staff so great that this place they recommended would be too...but not so much. They're pricing is extremely unpredictable and often times irrational for the work done. You can have the exact same job done on different days and pay 8$ for one and 17$ for the other. On a similar note, they will charge almost 20$ to sew something that I watched them sew in the spot in les than five minutes with maybe 4 stitches total...that's a labor rate of 240$ per hour...which is absolutely ridiculous, especially given then many other businesses in the area that offer the same services. read more
