Anyone familiar with baked goods can easily tell the difference in texture and quality. Frankly, I would much rather pay a higher price--even $4 or $5 per loaf--for guaranteed freshness than pay $3.50 for a compromised product. Suggestion for the business: Consider moving the bread display to the customer area so guests can select their own loaves. This would eliminate transparency issues and ensure customers get exactly what they expect. I hope management addresses this quality control issue.

I called the restaurant to let them know what happened, but no one responded or made any effort to address the situation or follow up with me. Serving someone meat that goes against their religious beliefs is a serious mistake, and serving spoiled food is unacceptable.
