Short Wait Time: 5/5 Technique: 5/5 Brow Threading: 5/5 Ambience: 5/5 Service: 5/5 This place is still my favorite spot for brows! They have a large parking lot with plenty of space, which makes it super convenient. They also offer a great rewards program, affordable prices, and the staff are always friendly. The owner, Aruna, is incredibly talented and really makes the experience worth it. Highly recommend!

Not gonna lie I'm always scared to go to a new threading place because I don't like when my eyebrows are too thin. However these people know what they're doing here. They're professionals. Threading is slightly painful but beauty is pain. They take walk ins so it was so convenient for me to come in and get my brows done. I swear it took less than 5 mins for my brows and my upper lip. I came in and walked out with gorgeous brows. So easy! I have super super sensitive skin so that always worries me after getting my brows done but it wasn't too bad this time just redness but no bumps and she offered me aloe Vera gel. My person was also so nice.

The worst threaded eyebrows I've ever had... what even are these shapes? (Yes I cried)

She was shy and kinda nice but sadly made my eyebrows very uneven and the complete opposite of what I asked for... I asked for thin arched brows and I end up getting blocky brows with the tails threaded off. Horrid. Now I have to wait another 4+ months to get them done again by someone who actually knows what they're doing... I guess that's what I get for trying a new spot in the area I just moved too lol. Here's what I was expecting them to look like versus what she did. (Both pics are me) Here's some advice: since you know how to thread well, please take an eyebrow shaping class because it's an art form that you don't have naturally.

I have been coming here for almost over 4 years and I don't allow for anybody else to thread my eyebrows now besides this threading studio. I feel like brows are a very touchy and personal thing. They make your face. So if you find somebody that works for you and stick to them. I love my brows and I like the natural polished look that she gives me! If you go ask for Aruna I definetly think she is underated and underpriced being that I use to pay almost 50$ at a threading shop that didn't even do a great job. Not to brag but she is also #2 in Los Angeles at places to get your brows done in the Los Angeles Time and Anastasia is #1 Go Figure! I told my friends and family and out of four people only one didn't go back everybody else are regulars now. I don't think it will hurt to give her a try and after you do make sure you let me know how you like them!

My eyebrows have been uneven for a long time and it drove me insane. I'd ask people for their opinions and no one knew what it was. The shape? The arch? Id stare in the mirror trying to figure it out by myself till I got dizzy. Then things changed. The first time I walked in, Aruna immediately said my left eyebrow was higher. I looked at her skeptical. She restated it with conviction. The second time I tested her a bit, hoping she wouldn't recognize me from before since she has so many clients. I asked her what made my brows look uneven. She still said "the left eyebrow is a bit higher, but it's okay! That's natural". I told her I had an eyebrow obsession and needed them to look perfect no matter what it took. The third time I went in was the charm. After she finished, I spent time in her chair not inspecting her work, but admiring it. Even though she was finished, she said "hmm...let me make the top of that one straighter". I didn't really know what she was talking about because they looked great to me. When she handed me the mirror, the eyebrows looked symmetrical beyond belief. BOTTOM LINE: Go to her. Trust her. The visual perceptual skills and hand eye coordination she has is impeccable. SHE DA ONE

I guess she forgot to thread the left one.

I'm so glad I found this location because I've been searching for a good threading studio in the Hollywood/WeHo area! I had previously been jumping around from studio to studio, unable to find one with both reasonable prices AND good parking. I stumbled upon Aruna's Hollywood Blvd location and LOVED it, but struggled with parking. So when I was told there was a new location in West Hollywood with parking, I was excited! This location is slightly more expensive than the other, but I suppose that comes with the real estate. I love how convenient it is, and if there is no line, I am able to get in and out in 10 minutes! read more

Aruna is simply amazing. She listens to you and does what you want, not what she thinks will look great on you like most other places. I just have her clean up the excess hair on my face and she is just amazing. Plenty of parking in the shopping center makes it convenient too. read more

I found this place by driving by and deciding to give it a shot after searching them on yelp. Went on a Monday afternoon, it was empty so I got in and out very quick. The lady who helped me was very friendly and she did a good job on my eyebrows , her hand was pretty light so the threading wasn't as painful. The only negative was that I had a slight cut But other than that i was pretty happy with my experience. I would go back. read more

I will NEVER go to another threading shop. Aruna Threading is my go to spot, Aruna does an INCREDIBLE job on my eyebrows and the price is just right. I was introduced to Aruna's studio by a friend in December of 2015 and have never looked back! My brows have never looked so good and I've never had so many compliments on them before! She has an incredible talent and knows what looks best/natural for you. She also employs really talented threading artists, so even if you can't get in to see her, you'll know you're in good hands. I found this place here on yelp and the reviews don't lie! This is truly a great eyebrow threading spot, the owner did my eyebrows and she was pretty cool and she didnt butcher them like some do. She also didn't do them in a way that I would need come come back in a week which I like. I highly recommend this place!!! read more

I've been here so many times the only place I would recommend to get my eyebrows done. Never have they left them to thin always perfect. They also now offer eye lash extensions which my sister got and they looked very nice. Would recommend to anyone. read more

I tried this place because of the glowing Yelp reviews. I had high hopes but I won't be back. I went in for brows and top lip. They started with the brows and it hurt. They caused little cuts in my skin and my brows were tender for the rest of the day. It shouldn't be like that! I didn't let them do my lip. read more

Aruna has two studio sites and I am a customer of both. Aruna and her staff are very talented. I recommend either location to everyone. I would not trust my brows with another studio. Both places are very clean and cute. I have fairly different shapes brows but they are able to make them match! Great spot. read more

I wanted to love this place and went to the new one on La Brea. But when I left I had spent 30 dollars and didn't understand why? The girl who did the threading may not have understood me. But even so - I asked for eyebrows, upperlip and one side - she did both sides - okay that's fine but according to the prices it was 10 bucks for the eyebrows, 6 bucks for the upper lip and 5 dollars per side - so that equals 26 bucks, I was charged $30 plus tip, and can't for the life of me understand how she came to that price? I even questioned it but she didn't offer any explanation. For that price, I should have gotten the full face? I just didn't want my cheeks or cheekbones touched. So while each individual thing is less expensive than say Ziba, in the end it cost me about the same price - and to top it off, she caused me to bleed a little on each side (which has never happened before!) - I saw her wipe something but wasn't sure and when I left it seemed fine until I looked in the mirror and saw trickles of blood! I have had threading and waxing done most of my adult life, I will think twice about coming here, unfortunately, as this is way more convenient than going to Ziba in Glendale. Too bad. read more

I love this place so much! Excellent and affordable eyebrow threading in a really convenient location. It's right by rite aid and chase so there's plenty of parking. It's a small, unpretentious place that did my eyebrows right away with no wait. And my eyebrows look better than after trying expensive west side "eyebrow shapers." read more

I'd only been here once before and I was so happy with the results... UNTIL TODAY. I got a lady who was on the phone when I walked in (didn't think much of it). I check in with the other lady working on dying someone's brows comes and greets me, guides me to a chair and calls the other lady in a different language (I'm guessing asking her to do my brows) and the other lady starts to work. THE THREAD SNAPS A TOTAL OF 6 TIMES ON MY BROWS THROUGH OUT THE ENTIRE APPOINTMENT! After the fourth snap (I should've reacted after the first or second) I ask, "why is that happening? I've never had that happen this many times before." The lady laughs and said the thread must be old or something. I didn't think that was funny. I should've asked her to get another thread instead. For some reason threading my brows hurt more than it should've. Upon inspecting my brows I realized there was a patch of hair missing. I let the lady know that wasn't there before and that I'm missing a few hairs in one spot. She offers to thread more until the patch is nonexistent. I said "No thank you, I wanted just a cleanup and that was it." I also had a little blood under my brows (which has NEVER happened to me before... even at this salon). I left unhappy, upset, missing a chunk of eyebrow hair, with a bloody (it wasn't a lot just a little, but still) pair of brows. As I was pulling out the parking lot I noticed the lady was back on the phone. read more

It'd been a long time since I had my eyebrows threaded so I thought I'd try this place out since it's not too far from home. Parking is not the easiest thing to find unless you park above or below the plaza, so parking in front of the area can be a bit difficult. So, service... I was asked to sit at one of the stations and then I told the person that I wanted them to be cleaned up and shaped but to leave it on the thicker side so I can continue to shape them in the future. Well, she cut some of the hairs, which is standard. Then she threaded lightly above the brow only to clean it up and not shape it. Then she barely cleaned up the arch area and asked if I was ok with the service. Honestly, I could have cleaned up with tweezers, but whatever. So then she does the same thing on the other side. And that was it. She didn't thread them to the point they were shaped, they looked barely cleaned up but there was no finesse to them. I don't think I'll go back. I truly wanted to like them. I went there because I saw the pictures so I figured they'd do a decent service. It was meh or sub-par at best. 3 stars because of the business cleanliness and sanitation practices.

It was a bit stuffy when I first came in, but they put on the air conditioning and that helped. I put some rose water on my brows and face afterward, which was nice because a lot of places only have aloe. They don't have a rosewater which is something I enjoy. I have the lady by the name of Malti. She was polite. They also sell different eyebrow products, although I did not pick up anything; so I can't speak to that. I did not use the restroom so I cannot comment on that either. If you are in the area, I would recommend coming here. Plus, it's very close to target if you need to shop and it is right next-door to a coffee bean if you want to enjoy as a delicious treat at the same time.

My experience began on a less than ideal note when Aruna arrived ten minutes late to opening hours. While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, I had hoped that a more timely arrival would set a positive tone for the visit. However, my concerns continued once we began the threading process. When my mother sat down, she was met with sheer disappointment. In just three minutes, her eyebrows were threaded, but they were not shaped as expected. The rushed nature of the service left her feeling unsatisfied, as if her needs were not adequately addressed. Similarly, my own experience mirrored this dissatisfaction. I too felt rushed throughout my service. As someone who works in the beauty industry, I am acutely aware of the importance of dedicating sufficient time to each client, particularly for services such as eyebrow threading, which typically require more than just a few minutes to ensure precision and care. A standard service usually deserves at least ten minutes of focus to achieve a satisfactory result, and I was surprised at how quickly the session seemed to conclude. Moreover, the feeling of being rushed led me to feel that I had overpaid for the services rendered. I believe that customer satisfaction is crucial in our industry, and it is vital to spend adequate time with each client to ensure they leave feeling valued and happy with the results. Unfortunately, my experience at your studio did not meet these expectations. This was my first visit to Aruna Threading Studio #2, and given the circumstances, I regret to say it will also be my last. I only discovered your studio due to a commendation in the LA Times, which raised my expectations. However, my experience did not align with the quality one would anticipate from a highly regarded establishment. I hope you take this feedback constructively, as I believe that addressing such issues can significantly improve the customer experience for future clients. This is by far the best threading studio in LA. I was coming and going to different places for a few years and kept feeling down with how my brow shape kept getting messed up. I had a hate love relationship with my brows up until I came here. Ever since I found this place my brows have been perfect. It is located right next to the Rite Aid in a small plaza and there is parking which is a huge plus! I hope this place never gets closed down. Make sure to also communicate with the associate in what you want exactly, they do their best to give you the best results. Give it a try, you won't be let down! read more

My daughter's best friends mother told me to give this place a try. Sure glad I took her advice. I had the perfect eyebrow wax and other areas were done discreetly and very professional. The women that work here are more cheerful than most places in this industry. It is a trek for me after work, but it is more than worth it. Eyebrows are were cleaned up. Only problem is that they use really cheap threads. I ended up getting knicked right below the left eyebrow in this picture and they also knicked the right side of my face where there wasn't any hair next to my mole. Change the threads or take your time next time. read more
