Aruba did refund my daughter her payment . Never heard back from owner. One thing is when I booked another appt at the only time i had available I immediately got a call back saying it wasnt available after all. Maybe just a coincidence . But ill listen to my gut and find another spa. read more

3/2/2026 2 years later and I must say Josh still has it. The ladies are always so polite the store stocked up with new items including the magnesium bath flakes ( recommended by Josh and it was easy to use when I got home), jewelry, lotions the list goes on. All the suites weather it's tanning, massages every room is clean and inviting. Josh seems to always find a knot I didn't even know was there every time. Deep tissue is a preference but they have many options to choose from. A yearly treat that I will indulge more in the year for sure. read more

Honestly, I don't know. My experience was horrible. I had a great massage made my second appointment woke up early went to the spa and my therapist was not there. He said he never scheduled with me and it wasn't confirmed so he didn't think that I was coming. That's very unprofessional. I have a text that shows confirmation. The representatives at reception said he does this all the time so why is he still there? Even though I knew it was confirmed I gave him the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled. He said he would not leave until I called him back to confirm. I pulled over to the side of the road to reschedule my day so that I could accommodate his availability at 2 o'clock. I called back within 10 minutes to confirm that I rescheduled my other meeting and found out that he changed the time to 12 o'clock and he was not there. The person who answered the phone said that 2 o'clock was past the time he was supposed to leave for the day and that's probably why he scheduled me for noon which is crazy! I was not going to reschedule my day again and when he called me back because I was so upset he tried to tell me that he changed it to 12 o'clock because the time would've been better for me. I never said that I was happy with the 2 o'clock. I rearranged my whole day to accommodate him so I was done and I don't know why management didn't call me back and say something to me. I don't know why he still works there? I just think the people at customer service were fantastic but as for him and as for his managers, they have a lot of work to do to know how to provide customer service. I was so disappointed. read more

All the ladies who work at Aruba Sun and Spa are all very friendly and go out of their way to be of assistance to you. I get my facials done by Ashley and she always does an amazing job. I feel and look many years younger after my anti-aging facial. Yesterday they had a free wellness weekend. I was able to get a red light salt therapy treatment for free. That was a very helpful aid for my COPD. It opened up my air ways and I could feel it rejuvenating my lungs . I always have such an enjoyable experience when I visit Aruba Spa. read more

Nice spa but my massage therapist was more interested in talking than giving me a quality massage. She didn't give me enough of a deep tissue massage and kept me face down for most of the hour. Not enough on my legs, neck, and shoulders. She spent about 80% of the time lightly massaging my back even though I requested a full body deep tissue massage with hot stones as an add in. I may try again with a different therapist. read more

Love this place. I had no idea they had more than tanning beds. I got a facial, teeth whitening and a massage. Everything was great, the staff was very nice and professional. I will definitely be going back. I actually took my daughter a few weeks later for a facial on her birthday and she loved it too! I booked my appointment online and it was so easy. read more

This is my go to spot. I have now made it my mission to get a massage bi weekly or every three weeks with Mickey. She's very kind, listens and hits the spots that I need attending to. My shoulders have been very tense due to my anxiety and it's such a blessing to get a Swedish massage that I don't have to pay $140 for. The front staff has never given me any issues, just wish there wasn't a different person every time I go :) read more

Decided I needed a professional to wax my eyebrows on a whim because I had a bad habit of over plucking and I'm trying to grow mine in the way I want them lol. Tried to make an appointment online but for some reason my phone wasn't working with the "Captcha" thing they make you do (to make sure you're not a robot lol). So I called to make an appointment and to my surprise, they had an 11:15 the same day - on a Saturday! Price for a brow was is $16 which is reasonable in my book. The spa is surprisingly gorgeous inside. I guess I wasn't expecting such a pretty place in the constant friendship shopping center haha. Amanda is the one who did my brows and they turned out perfectly. She listened to me regarding how I wanted them to look and that I'm trying to grow them in. She didn't overdo it or under do it - they looked even better than I expected them to. I'm extremely particular about eyebrows so it was great to have a perfect experience. I'll definitely be going back to Amanda regularly for brow waxing. read more

I had another deep tissue massage from Josh Summers yesterday at Aruba. Josh Summers is an amazing massage therapist. His techniques are very effective. He is very professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is genuinely trying to feel better. I have lumbar pain and hip pain. He was able to pinpoint the issue and I feel so much better after. Each massage gets better results. It's well worth the money spent. Thank you Josh! I will be back for sure! read more

Bought a monthly membership on a Referal from someone that brings to the same gym I belong to. Best decision ever! Love their massages I've been to Mickey who does an incredible Swedish massage and today I saw Courtney who provided a deep tissue massage. If your debating if you want to try Aruba give them a try they are incredible!! read more

The place is clean and the employees are friendly. I got a massage there. Disappointed I actually paid and tipped for the massage. The massage itself was severely lacking: there was very little to no pressure, did not even touch my lower back or hips (which is where I have the most tightness and practically the reason I wanted a massage). Felt like someone was just petting me the whole time. I would have rather stayed home read more

This place is really impressive in terms of the number of different services they offer. If I lived in the area, I could imagine visiting here often or having a membership for some of the different services. I stopped by one night for just a single UV tanning session. The girl at the front desk was very friendly and super helpful in terms of explaining the different beds and what they had to offer. I felt as though the prices were very reasonable, especially compared to what I'm used to paying in NJ. The Sun Dash stand up tanning booth was very clean and gave me a nice, even tan. I would recommend. read more

I've seen some reviews on here and it's unfortunate to see their isn't more stellar reviews. I mean c'mon they remember your name, they know your tendencies, their incredibly intelligent and knowledgeable about the products. They give you a personal perspective of what they did to see if it helps you decide what your there for. they have tons of products and programs available and more. I have never felt so comfortable being in a setting where you take all your clothes off trying to get some color and know one's laughing at me,lol. Well, maybe they do it behind closed doors when I leave. Hahaha, jk, all kidding aside this is the best place to get sun, waxed, massaged, instant color, and more in Belair/Abington/Fallston. I've sent tons of people there, I've recommended them on my podcast, I've sent over social media-lites, as well as friends and family. There's a woman there, ashley, she is phenomenal and quite stunning, she knows what you want before you ask it. Like a psychic. Actually, all the woman there are gorgeous and highly intelligent with their own unique personality traits that need to be celebrated. They are fun to be around, and I will forever be a fan and customer of their work. Please keep making your clients proud and I hope all your success is rewarded daily, thanks for making me happy everyday. Your the best! read more

HORRIBLE front desk receptionist Britney had the worst attitude! I misunderstood over the phone a confirmation for the time today and was late granted a half hour It was a honest mistake and it was empty, I gladly paid the fee and wanted to reschedule and this girl treated me like I was Garbage, things happen, people make mistakes hunny your not the owner take it down a notch this isn't Pasadena . After speaking to my friends of mine, the front desk act pretentious to woman of color, which I also have a friend who had a similar experience. After discussing with my husband and my friend they said don't waste another dime. I really like the staff that do the actual services in the back, Very pleasant. Britney is unprofessional and really nasty. I am 42 years old not a kid I am not going to scolded Like a child. After I paid the late and cancel fee without hesitation she was acting like rescheduling was this huge hassle. F.y.i look up my profile and the last time I was booked and the time of the end where the transaction was. You can see I have waited extra time for services than what I was supposed to and was patient, did I ask for a discount no that's tacky like your attitude. I am not saying I should have gotten special treatment, I agreed to the terms I forfeit my deposit if I am late or no show but the attitude was over the top. Dirty looks have just gotten worse and worse, today was the last straw. don't judge books by there covers hunny w you got a lot to learn about life. Acting like a snob doesn't make a place look more high end it makes you look of ignorant. I will make sure to also tell every parent in my sons class and school who ask me all the time where I get my services done which I have referred I have said nothing but great things not anymore. read more

Today was the first day that I've ever had a problem with them but it made such an impact on me that they will never have my business again! As a new mom, it took me weeks to carve out time to book a massage. I called ahead to let them know I was running a little late (I am normally very early). I arrived at my appointment time on the nose to find that they had canceled it with no call to me... nothing! read more

We had a huge wedding weekend ahead of us. We went to another salon in the area the night before that hardly sprayed us. We were panicked so we called Aruba- they fit us in right in the morning, heather sprayed us and was AMAZING, and Lucy & everyone at the front desk could not have been better and kinder. This place is so amazing. Deserves 10 stars!!! Would recommend to anyone and everyone!! read more

Love this place! I've been here for tanning, brow wax, Brazilian wax, facials, massages, and love the little boutique items for sale in the front. Everyone is respectful and courteous. All services have met my expectations and pricing is fair. Amanda and Aimee are great and make you feel comfortable during waxes. Would definitely recommend! read more

I am very impressed with the Norvelle tanning offered here. I have always gone to palm beach for the VersaSpa system but I like the spray tan at Aruba much better. An added perk is that the VersaSpa was $45 per session, the Norvelle session is only $25 with a better result. The booth dries your tan instantly so no worries about getting dressed after the session. No streaking, just make sure to exfoliate before you go and the girls said not to use any moisturizer or lotion on prior to the session. Having said that, I like that they did not push any of the Norvelle brand lotions on me. I did see them on a display and I really am interested in how they could improve the tan because it is already such a nice result. An added bonus is the customer service. I was unsure about what level to choose and the girls up front talked to me for a long time about it. They were so sweet! read more

nicest spa and tanning salon in the area. It's clean with great tanning equipment/ options. They offer amazing products and gifts to shop for. Brittany is super sweet and knowledgeable, she has great tanning tips! The bulbs change often, always new and bright. If you go to the spa and get a massage ask for Courtney. She's the only massage therapist and esthetician you could ever want. You leave feeling so relaxed. read more

Been going here for years and won't go anywhere else! Started tanning here 10 years ago and everyone has ways been friendly and helpful. It's beautiful and I feel like I'm in a spa. I've had a few massages as well and I highly recommend them. Just recently I had an evening massage and got stuck in traffic. I called to say I'd be late and the masseuse was kind enough to wait. When I got there, I apologized and every staff member welcomed me and told me to relax. It's the best of the best! read more

I never usually write reviews but because of the amazing staff I just had too. Everyone is very friendly here! This by far is the cleanest salon I've ever seen/been too. Recently I came in to just get information about tanning as I just moved back into the area, Paige walked me around showing me all of the beds and explaining them to me, she was very very resourceful and personal, she didn't make me feel obligated to buy anything like a tanning salon I used to go too. She also took the time to answer all of my questions without making me feel uncomfortable. After that experience I will 100% come back to join!! read more

I went to the spa today and it was wonderful!! I had a Swedish massage by Ladona and reflexology massage by Minia. Both ladies did a wonderful job. I've been going to Aruba spa for about a year now and I'm so glad I decided to stick with them. I prefer to use Courtney for my massages. This place has an awesome monthly program - really good price and great cancellation policy! That being said, I lost my debit card in November and as a result, cancelled it. Of course, this was the card used for my monthly fees, and therefore no longer went through. I called to let them know this, they said no problem, they couldn't take a new card over the phone, but just to bring it next time I came in... Fast forward to April - I guess I didn't really need to be tan in the dead of winter - and I went in last night dreading how much I would owe them. Much to my surprise, the girls behind the counter were absolutely sweet and instead of the normal "well you signed this contract", they simply said you haven't been here so we're not charging you, we`ll just get you re-set up - but please try to fix it earlier if it ever happens again. What great customer service! I will never look to go anywhere else now. Another plus - salon is VERY clean and nice - almost to the point where it seems out of place in middle of nowhere MD :) read more

This tanning salon is by far the best. I drive 30 minutes out of my way just to go here for tanning for 7 YEARS now. The beds are always clean, the front desk is super helpful, nice and never pushy with buying products or monthly plans. The decor is trendy, and in the 7 years I've been going I've only had to actually wait for a bed just a few times and only for a few minutes, it's extremely rare because they are such a large location. And the prices are to die for! I pay as I go each time! No need to sign up for a monthly plan which I love! I will continue to drive happily 30 minutes out of my way for Aruba! read more

I have only been a member for a couple weeks. During that time I have only been able to use the level 3 stand up stall twice which is what membership is paying for. I went in Friday, 5/29/15 and was told it would be 8 minutes before I could tan as someone was using it. So I waited and the I was told that I had to wait 15 more minutes as someone had called in before I got there and they got the stand up Level 3 ahead of me. I stated I did not know you could make reservations. They said it wasn't a reservation. They told me the other Level 3 was not working. After trying to understand that it did not matter that I was there first the employee offered me a Level 4 bed. So I agreed. Then she said it would be another 5 minutes or so before I got to use that bed. I wondered what if someone had called in for that bed and that could bump back again. I did not tan as I had already spent over 20 minutes and should have been out by that amount of time so I could make my other plans on time. Very disappointed. Sent from my iPad read more
