The spawn let me arrive early to start setting up on the day of, and then I begged them to finish the decorations and put out all the food I brought... to make the party special! This place went above and beyond for me! They not only decorated, they laid out all the food for me, they put my vision to life. They were so nice and accommodating to us, as a group while we were there! They were absolutely amazing! Red light therapy 7/10: The worker was very clear with her instructions. It was a nice 20 minutes away from my phone. Chairs weren't too comfy in this booth. I had some time to sit down with my feet on the salt domes again, drinking my tea. Maaan, I would give the salt domes a 10/10 just by themselves. I tend to have cold feet so they made my feet feel LOVELY, especially with this cold weather. Zen bed 8/10: super relaxing, warm bed. Ocean sounds. Heated & weighted eyemask. I almost fell asleep. Coconut scalp massage + 30 minute custom massage 8/10: My masseuse was soft spoken and listened when I asked for a little more pressure. She even recommend that I try a deep tissue massage next time. She did a great job focusing on my neck which is what I asked for. Again, the bed was warmed. The room's lighting was very aesthetic. Really set the mood.

It was just all around clearly good at handling my hair. I have found some hair stylists did struggle with my thicker South Asian hair but she was good. Clearly has the experience. Also apparently she does make-up too. PRICE: for my haircut and blowout was $60 without the tip. The tips must be paid in cash I believe. PARKING: behind the building. And on Saturdays this place is very close to the Bel Air Farmer's market. Just saying you can get some nice flowers and a great cut together. So overall, I would really recommend this place. I try to come every few months for a relaxing facial. My experience today was not as pleasant as my other two visits. I've been trying out different estheticians to see which one I like best for my facial. I booked at a certain time to try one a specific esthetician only for a different person to be there on the day of my appointment, saying the original esthetician is doing massages all day. I guess my visit must have been one of the earlier ones bc there was no one water available; it's usually in the lounge area. As it was early in the day, I was surprised that there were no slippers my size (7), the tissue box was empty at the counter in the changing area, and there was nearly no toilet paper left. I hope these are all anomalies because my prior two experiences were more pleasant. Overall I'd give this place a 4/5 but if today had been my only experience there, it would have been a 3/5. I'm hoping my next visit will be more pleasant.

My wife typically gets a relaxing massage. So off I went and signed up with Pamper Urself. Upon my arrival, I really like the layout of where her massage room was set up. As I walked in, there was a ver pleasant smell of essential oil in the room. Of course, there was wind chime/flute type music. I always laugh internally at this music because if it's so relaxing why don't people play it all the time. Anyway, personal preference I know . When I met Lateeku she was very professional and personal. She offered me a relaxing massage or a deep tissue massage. Since we have been doing a lot of spring cleaning my shoulders and back we're kind of sore. So, I asked for the deep tissue massage and........ WOW!!!!!! She was no joke. Lateeku is not very tall but she could probably bend metal with her hand strength. She worked every knot out of every muscle in my shoulders and back. It was remarkable. The private room was very calming and relaxing while having my facial and I felt very relaxed when I left. Negatives: the facial itself didn't yield any results for me. I had a hydrafacial, with my main areas of concern being hydration and to help with the signs of aging. Unfortunately neither occurred. My face was smoother and brighter for maybe 2 days afterwards but it was also very tight and dry. The fine lines around my eyes and mouth were more pronounced and noticeable than they were before. I did see a temporary reduction in blackheads around my nose, but less than a week later, my skin was back to being dry, dull and flaky like it was before. UPDATE: Two weeks later and my skin is breaking out like crazy and peeling in some places. I have texture where I didn't have it before. It looks worse than before I went.
