We have nice floating bamboo flooring throughout our condo. A large section in the kitchen was…read moreruined by a slow, unknown refrigerator water leak. I had extra boards/materials left over from the original installation years ago. I called a local Camarillo flooring store, which advised they could not do a repair, provided some other misleading info, and provided an expensive quote for unwanted replacement tile or laminate (which would not match the rest of my home). So I found and called Jim. He stopped by at our arranged time, looked at all the damage, took an inventory of the extra boards in the garage, and said he could fix it. I was a bit doubtful at first based on all the false information I received previously. We scheduled another appointment for the work the following week. Jim showed as scheduled, and in about 4 hours all the ruined boards were removed, new flooring seamlessly installed, side moldings replaced where needed, and he also fixed a few other gaps with boards in other areas of the house that had creeped over the years. Simply outstanding work, at 1/5 the cost of the store quote for flooring that I did not want. I highly recommend Jim! Outstanding guy. Let him look at your job before going to a retail flooring store, as I'm sure he'll give you great advice/recommendations as he did for me.
