When we starting the idea of a pool, we asked around Dalton and Artistic came back over and again. The process started quickly and then sat for 30 days, a few days activities and 30 days a day or two of activity and without much communication from their new construction group based in Chattanooga. This is a painful part of the construction part. Worse was the lack of any forecasting for activity. Just radio silence. That created a conflict as we were finishing the project. Permit pulled in February and completed the pool October. Communication today should never be a problem. Not with texting. The end product is awesome, which is the most critical for us both. The pool lines work well with the house and deck and integration to the housing lines. The work, for the most part, has been very good/ excellent. We used the Jandy Floor Cleaner pop ups and so glad we did. They work to make the cost of ownership (maintenance) less so. It does an outstanding job. I highly recommend it. Totally. worth it! I have spent the past 9 months trying to learn about how to operate the pump properly to accomplish the preventive daily and quarterly maintenance needs. It is an impressive system and the after sales service and warranty guys have been outstanding to say the least. William has been working with me for a while to get through the shake down process of day in day out trouble shooting. Recently a service man, Andrew came out. He made a service call to address the Saltinator issue that was giving us false readings of 12,750 - which is impossible. And took the information he needed to get this part replaced (warranty). We were out of town and he let me know whey were coming to replace it. Great, tight communication. I like that. But this guy goes above the call when he also replaced the main pump. He got that taken care of before I was aware of it being defective. That's integrity and ethics. Andrew is a great reflection on the organization. He is professional, efficient, explains it well and gets it handled and moves on. After all that, the filter tank developed a problem like the next day....I sent the pics to William and they also took care of that, like the next day! He made a decision to get the entire unit replaced instead of just the problem part. I feel the support from William and Andrew are why I give a 5 star. We signed on for a custom pool with Artistic in July of 2020. Nearly two years and approaching HALF A MILLION DOLLARS later, we have very little to show for it. In fact, as of today, we are still awaiting completion of our pool. Not even the tiling or interior has been done yet. Additionally: 1. Our front yard was destroyed and has looked like a war-zone, complete with a Porta Potty, for almost 2 years now. 2. Most days it's a ghost town here and weeks have go by without any progress being made. Leaves have continued to pile-up and it looks like a glorified skate-park ramp. 3. Promises continue to go unfulfilled and deadlines are consistently missed. 4. We have followed up with them nearly ever single day -- at times I feel like we're the GC. 5. Issues are escalated to the owner, but that seems to have made little difference over the course of this project. I understand and empathize with the fact that there may be a massive labor shortage -- however, I am not so sure that is the issue here. We have learned through their sub-contractors that there is very little (and poor) communication to them and many of the subs find themselves frustrated and outside of the loop in terms of when and where they need to be on-site or even what the status of the project is. It is clear to me that they do not have the capacity to take on and manage the projects they are selling. We simply want the same level of customer service, quality, and consistency that was promised to us when we signed our agreement. All we want is for this project to be completed in a timely manner. However, if you're asking me what our experience has been as of today -- I'll summarize as follows: If there was an option to leave ZERO stars here I would. At this point, I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. read more

Be careful and or watch to see if what you're paying for is what you're getting with their weekly metro Atlanta (suburban) service. The weekly pool cleaner was checking off all the "cleaning" items on the list that he left for us. But, after watching him on a few occasions we noticed he was here and gone within 10 minutes and didn't do most of the items. A water analysis (test) and cleaned the skimmers, that was ALL he did. We made decision to go elsewhere with FULL service. Just a warning to all. read more

I HIGHLY recommend getting your pool built by Artistic Pools! I work with another pool cleaning company, and every single pool that I have come across that was built by Artistic Pools basically CLEANS ITSELF. Once you get a pool built by Artistic, it will be easy to maintain. You may not even need a cleaner. If you're in an area where pine straw or leaves fall in year round, a Dolphin cleaner or Polaris would be a great investment and you cam save money on a regular basis pool cleaner. read more

Artistic Pools did a decent job in building out out pool area 15 years ago. since then they have been servicing our pool. They were supposed to come weekly but now it's at best every 2 weeks. The pool is literally green. The filters were black. They have completely lost their interest and ability to service pools. read more

Artistic pools has been in business for over 50+ years. That's one of the reasons we selected the company to provide us with a backyard pool. Unfortunately, the company has great difficulty delivering on contractual services. After eight frustrating months into the process and 12 actual work days, we have a cement pond, coping, rock wall, and a huge mess in the backyard. Finishing the pool during this summer (2021) doesn't seem to be a priority for Artistic pools. We are extremely disappointed with their lack of interest in finishing our pool, not to mention we are out $100k! read more

Our experience is consistent with the other negative reviews. Please read them before working with Artistic Pools. Although the company was formed some 50 years ago and may at one time been a fine company, the current 3rd generation owner has created a company of false promises, poor customer service, poor supervision, unprofessional employee communication, poor followup and on and on. The sales and design personnel were good, other than falsely telling us the project would take 4-6 month. We have little positive to say about our experience after the contract was signed. We are 2.5 years into a $300K project in Atlanta and work has yet to be completed. This is NOT a Covid issue. Work under poor supervision and communication had to be torn down and rebuilt. Months went by without work being done despite a contract that states any delay of more than a few weeks would receive notice and reason. This is the classic situation where the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing nor does it care. We are at the end stage and found that Artistic had submitted false designs in order to get the initial permits. We have prepared for legal action and have spoken to other clients in the same situation. Do not use Artistic Pools. read more

If you are thinking about Artistic Pools I would highly encourage you to reconsider. There is a theme with the recent reviews and that has been our horrible experience as well. We contracted with Artistic Pools in March 2021 and now approaching September 2022, the pool is still not finished. The sales person flat out lied to us about timing (he said it would take 2-3 months once they started digging...it has been 8 months and we still have a cement hole). They claim to have the best masons in the business but the tile they have laid is uneven and there are loose stones. I have been reaching out to them about completion and no one seems to have answers or they have excuses. It is just a very poorly run business and the owner has claimed for months that these are "unprecedented" times. I get that and am sympathetic to labor and supply chain challenges but if you find yourself in that situation for over a year, it is time to make adjustments to your business. Perhaps start by not overselling and then under delivering. I don't want others to have the same awful experience and very poor service...do your due diligence at least but I will tell you the headaches and disappointment with Artistic Pools is not worth it. read more

Wow! I should have read the reviews BEFORE using Artistic Pools, Inc. in 2019 for my home's pool. I called 3 companies for consultations and quotes. One never called back/never showed up. One showed up, the owner himself (or he claimed), talked BIG talks about himself and his company, then never followed up with quotes as promised; never heard a peep from him. That left me with Artistic Pools' response. The entire build process was "fine" at best. The wait was mainly due to (Sandy Springs) approval. BUT, once the pool is done and especially if they gotten all the money from you, GOOD LUCK hearing, seeing these people ever again. I contacted their office for various follow up reasons and questions that any first-time pool owners would typically do (how to do this / that when there is no manual, a lot were simple how to questions, etc.), and I'll get "we will get someone to get back to you ASAP" and I'll never hear from anyone. They promised someone would come to finish some cosmetic, "minor" touchups once pool is done (and paid for) ~ NO ONE ever showed up; NO ONE ever followed up. As first time pool owners, we have learned a lot and know what to do next time and who not to use. I hesitate to recommend Artistic Pools, Inc. if there isn't many choices out there but I will not recommend them for follow up, customer service, customer relations...Once they get your money, you'll never hear from them again. Sad for an owner to decide this is how he runs his business which is take the money and run; don't care about referrals, reputation, relationships, etc. read more

We got our pool put in a couple of years ago, and to this day they have not finished the tiles around the pool! We actually had to spend money and hire a complete other company to properly finish it! Some of the tiles were coming up and uneven! You would think for an established company, the service would be much better! We have called and called with no avail! They basically just gave us the run around! If you are going to spend thousands to get a pool like we did, please make sure you choose someone that will actually finish the job! It's like after they get your money, they don't care! And by the way the whole company is family owned and ran, so nothing will happen to rude employees that lie and make broken promises! read more

Artistic has been building/working on our pool for the past 23 months . Cannot get them to come out and finish their job or cannot get them to come out and give an orientation on the maintenance and upkeep of the pool. Have called the superintendent in charge of building our pool numerous times with only promises to send someone out to finish job. Have also contacted the owner of the company but was just more or less blown off by him also. I have paid this pool company in full (approximately $200,000) and expected them to complete their job in a professional manner. Would never ever recommend this company to anyone even though the pool itself is beautiful.. The company has very poor customer relations. I do not know how they ever won the awards that they received. read more
