Called for a quote on a Monday, Kelly came to give an estimate two days after my call. Their crew started work on my property that next Monday. They were awesome!!! I had used Artistic Arbor Gardens many many years ago and they were great then. We had so many trees to clean up, shape and cut dead wood. They had to cut down one of our Liquid Amber trees that was dying because of bad past Landscaper that said they knew how to trim trees. I learned a hard lesson in using an inexperienced landscaper/gardener. I will never get anybody else to do our trees. Artistic Arbor is the greatest and I highly recommend them! I recommend AAG because they are good at their work and communicate effectively to make this experience a win-win. They did work on a beautiful pine tree on my neighbors property. The owner of the company was great in working with me to protect my plants on my yard that could potentially be impacted by falling branches from my neighbors tree on to the plants on my property under the tree. Even with the precautions some of my plants were damaged and AAG was so thoughtful that they worked with me to make things right in my yard. This was a win-win-win. My neighbors tree, my plants, and AAG are all happy. If you're shopping around go with your gut and this review. I just called into your office and spoke to Bonnie, she confirmed your company was at my residence in may 8, 2023 and that the woman that did the quote and ultimately offered her services to my landlord to scare me off with her East county biker friends is named Kelly. When I told her the reason for my call was to speak to them about this issue because they only called me a liar online and didn't seem to have any interest in clearing up this safety issue, she asked me to hold and said I should talk to the owner that was there. The phone call was then disconnected and I called back thinking it may have been a mistake. I was then told that the owner was not there, that she had JUST left and asked if I would like to leave a number. I replied that I did not as I felt unsafe giving them that info after already being threatened by an employee there. I asked if she would like me to call back at a different time to resolve this. Exasperated, she responded "what it is you want us to do?" I said, " I don't know, I thought your company would like to take an incident like this seriously and discuss what happened instead of just calling me a liar online. So would you like me to call back at a different time?".. she said, "not really.. cause I don't know what time." And that is how they chose to end the call.. no apologies, no kindness, just "cover your ass". Customer gets threatened, then called a liar.. customer proves it was your business and they have not even an apology in their pocket. Very unsafe company... ***Please see attached pictures for my full review.*** I have only used Yelp to post kudos and positive reviews in the past, but at a certain point in time I feel that an experience with a company can be so unpleasant that one has an obligation to share their experience with other consumers. 16MAY2023 -My neighbors made me aware that a tree had fallen on our shared fence. Initially it was thought that it was a small/medium size eucalyptus tree, however, after further inspection it was found that it was only one eucalyptus tree limb. Both my neighbors and I have dogs, so it was an emergent need to get the limb removed and fence repaired. 17MAY2023 -I began contacting tree removal companies in the San Diego area and found several companies willing to do a next day removal of the limb. -I decided to proceed with Artistic Arbor Gardens, because they were closest to my residence and they said they would be available to complete the job first thing, next day (arrival time between 7-8 a.m.). I was initially quoted $500 to do it next day (18MAY) or $900 to do it same day (17MAY) via text. -Later in the day, the company contacted me again via text and said they would like to send an estimator out between 1-2 p.m. to look at the branches to verify the price. The tree was easily accessed through my neighbor's property, so I told the company that I would ask my neighbors if that time was okay for them. I sent the company this via text: "I asked my neighbors and am waiting on a response. If they (estimator) are okay going to go to the downed tree by themselves since I will be in a meeting (I was working from home) we can plan on that as the back up." My neighbors told me they would not be available until 2:30 to access via their property. I asked the company if they could do 2:30 instead, the company said they could not. I called the company to explain again that I would be in a meeting at that time, and that if the estimator comes at 1:00 they will need to navigate to the tree along the fence line on their own through some relatively thick vegetation (at times weeds up to around chest high), but still accessible--I navigated this same way the day before only knowing the general direction. We only have approximately two acres, so it is not difficult to follow the fence line and locate the downed limb on the fence line. The company said this would not be an issue, the estimator would be fine navigating on their own through thick brush/high weeds. Agreed then we can proceed with 1:00 time. -Estimator arrived at the appointment over 30 minutes late. -I was still in the important meeting but greeted the estimator at my gate when they called because they were unable to open a standard sliding gate hinge on their own. -I walked with the estimator to the backyard, while still in an important work meeting, answered questions, gave the directions on how to reach the tree. Tree is located less than 100 yards from where we were standing. The estimator walked approximately 50 yards away, and eventually turned around without following the fence line. While I was still in my meeting, I spoke again with the estimator, the estimator preferred to not go through the weeds/brush to view the downed limb, but instead go ahead and write the estimate and agreed to do the job next day first thing without viewing the limb. When asked, stated it would be complete by 12:00. -The estimator increased the estimate cost of the removal of the limb from $500 to $700, again without viewing the limb. Though costly for one limb, I agreed to proceed since I needed to work the next day to complete pre-deployment items and wanted to allow time for the fence repair. We both agreed to and signed the written estimate for the job that the estimator generated. -I asked if the company offers a military discount, the estimator said they would not offer me a military discount, though I am active duty. -I scheduled the fence repair company for arrival between 1-2 p.m. with a separate company and paid the full deposit. 18MAY2023 -The tree removal crew comprised of three individuals arrived at my neighbor's house at approximately 7:45 a.m. I greeted them there and walked with them down to the downed limb and explained again what was agreed upon with the estimator. The leader of the crew said they understood and were good to go. -I returned to my house to commence work from home. -Shortly thereafter, I received a text from the company: "We just got to finally get up to where branches are they are huge. It would take us at least 1/2 day to do it. We would have to charge more. But even if we did charge more we have to decline this job branches are sitting us poison oak. Our workers are extremely allergic I am so sorry. I am sending Guys away. Whoever you hire I would make sure they know that there poison oaks." -Understandably concerned, I immediately called the company. The job was agreed to be completed by 12:00, so I did not read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I was quoted a full day job. Workers left at 3PM. That's 6 hours for a job I paid 8 hours for. And to be honest that would be okay if the job was done. While it was by no means an easy job, they left trash and debris everywhere. They also did not complete what I asked them to do. Additionally they sent me an invoice on Friday, 11/5 that was dated 11/4. The invoice had no payment date or terms on it. In less than a WEEK I had a text from them saying they were at the county records office filing a lien on my home! This was the first message I had received besides the invoice less than a week earlier. Plus I had given them a deposit. If they could text me about a lien, they couldn't text me nicely asking for payment? Rude, no customer service and sloppy work. I would suggest avoiding them and working with a company that isn't quick to get litigious. read more

I'm at the top of Eucalyptus Hills, and yes, have those weed trees. I kept putting off getting them trimmed, until I realized that when a branch went, it would take out my neighbor's shed and damage his garage. Two other tree trimmers turned down the job as too dangerous. Artistic Arbor, recommended by my neighbor, was up for the task. When the crew got here, the climber, Hector, quickly got to work. I couldn't watch, sure that those huge heavy limbs would go crashing through my neighbor's garage.
