They are ballroom dance shoes, so the front part of the shoe bottom was worn, but the heel was not. When I picked up my shoes, he said I owed him an additional $20 for heel repair, which the shoes did not need. He said his worker told him that the heels were in bad shape, but they were not, or I would've asked for them to be repaired when I dropped them off. I am not dumb. I know what my shoes needed, and they did not need heels. If there was an increase in the charge, he could have asked me before the work was completed, and I would've declined the extra unnecessary work. Total scam. I do remember him being unfriendly the last time I came here for business. I thought I would give his shop one more try. No thank you. I will never go there again. FYI, I just did a quick Google search and this behavior is illegal under multiple CA consumer protection areas: Breach of Contract (Common Law) California Consumer Legal Remedies Act (CLRA) California Unfair Competition Law (UCL) It is also a Federal Trade Commission violation.

I was a cross country runner in high school and college...before I had orthotics I had 2 stress fractures...one on each shin. After I got custom orthotics I had no injuries ever again! I was running around 65-70 miles a week in college! My girlfriend and I went in to see Craig on a Tuesday (He is in the Tustin Office on Tuesdays and Thursdays). He examined both of us and sent our 'blueprint' (I don't know the right terminology) of the custom orthotics to his lab in Riverside. We immediately got our custom orthotics and have been obsessed with them ever since. My girlfriend has had a major surgery on her lower back, and after about 2-3 days of walking with the orthotics, got a ton of relief in her hips and lower back! I have had this second pair of orthotics from Craig for close to 2 months now (the previous pair lasted 14 years!), and am trying to get everyone I know to call him up for an appointment. For me, these orthotics make my body from the lower back down feel stronger and pain free. My girlfriend and I went on a vacation to Japan and South Korea 2 weeks ago with the orthotics and were able to walk a lot farther than we were able to before our orthotics! Please get custom orthotics from this place. We all need custom orthotics to ensure we are walking correctly.

The staff offered me the choice of a same-day appointment or one the following day. I chose the next day, and the scheduling process was incredibly easy and convenient. From the moment I arrived, everyone was welcoming and professional. Check-in was quick, and I was called back to the exam room within minutes. Shortly after, Dr. Yang came in, which I really appreciated because I wasn't left waiting like I have been at many other medical offices. Dr. Yang took the time to explain my options for treating my pinky toe. He explained the difference between removing the ingrown portion of the nail, which would eventually grow back, and performing a permanent procedure that involved numbing my toe, removing the nail, and applying acid to prevent it from growing back. He made sure I understood everything before moving forward. What impressed me the most was that I didn't expect the procedure to be done that same day. Based on my past experiences with other doctors, I assumed I would only be evaluated and then have to schedule another appointment for the actual procedure. Instead, Dr. Yang was able to take care of everything during my visit. I really appreciated not having to come back for a second appointment, which saved me both time and the cost of another copay. My entire visit, including check-in, the consultation, and the procedure was completed in less than an hour. It's refreshing to find a medical office that values patients' time while still providing exceptional care. I highly recommend Orange County Podiatry and Dr. Yang. This is more of a review on how they handled the insurance and billing part of getting my new…read moreorthotics. The orthotics themselves are good so far. I went back and forth with Fountain Orthotics for months on whether my orthotics were covered by insurance. Eight months after I was given the initial referral and going back and forth with them about my coverage, my doctor asked our insurance to change the provider. That was when they changed their tune and admitted that my insurance would indeed cover them in full. I had put in a deposit which took another 4 months to get back because even though they said they would automatically refund me the money once they received the insurance payment, I had to call them to get it back. Very frustrating!

Before I came to Dr Aziz, I had been struggling for about 20 months with plantar warts on my feet…read more I had seen a podiatrist and then a dermatologist before Dr Aziz, had two excision procedures as well as about 10 liquid nitrogen freezings, without any resolution to the warts. I chose Dr Aziz because she had good ratings and also could provide Swift microwave therapy. I was initially skeptical because Swift is not covered by my insurance, but I was desperate to try something after battling my warts for so long. After the first set of treatments (4 sessions), there was some improvement but the warts remained. However, after the second treatment of the second set (treatment number 6 in total), the warts significantly improved and shrunk. By treatment 7, the warts were almost entirely gone and the last treatment she declared me wart free (we still did a final treatment just to be sure). Along with the microwave treatments, Dr Aziz prescribed a compound treatment cream every night under a bandage to aid in fighting the wart and attack from the top surface. Clearly it was a success. Microwave therapy is MUCH less painful than freezing or surgery. While there can be an intense stinging for about a half second, it subsides within seconds and after a treatment there is very very mild soreness that goes away entirely within a day. In comparison, freezing for my larger warts caused throbbing pain for multiple days for each treatment that required me to stay home from work and take pain medications for about a day and a half to go about my day. Excision is also painful - not as throbbing as freezing but much longer recovery. Microwave therapy requires no downtime for me and I can walk out of the office after treatment with no issues (just minor soreness that doesn't affect walking). Dr Aziz and her staff are excellent - they always take the time to explain procedures and process and I never felt rushed. The office is clean, well kept, and well staffed. I started my journey with OC Sports & Rehab at their Lake Forest location in March to address ankle…read morepain. The pain was hindering my daily life and was making it difficult to train for my Mount Whitney climb in August. I explained my pain to Angelina and Theresa and they developed a wholistic plan that centered on not only removing my pain, but enhancing my performance to make my Whitney climb as painless and easy as possible. Every session has been met with such friendliness and willingness to help me. I have been to several therapy clinics over the years for various things (knee, elbow) and I can confidently say the service I have received here has outpaced the other facilities, and I have nothing negative to say about those PT clinics, this staff just goes above and beyond every single day. Theresa and Angelia are knowledgeable and that is obvious on your first interaction with them. But what sets them apart is the level of friendliness and caring they share day in and day out. They are examples of what healthcare workers should be. They treat the PERSON, not the ailment. In addition to the care I have received on the table, the administrative care I have received is also worth mentioning. Daniela has been so patient and kind with me. I work from home and as a result sometimes I have last minute meetings and scheduling shifts. She has always been accommodating and does her best to meet my scheduling needs. And a friendly face right when you walk in is never a bad thing! As my Mount Whitney hike draws closer, I feel more prepared and confident than I would be without their help. PT has been something I have looked forward to over the last few months. The entire staff is always warm, welcoming, and professional. Teresa, Connor, and Angelina were all great to work with throughout the process. Teresa was especially knowledgeable and took the time to really listen to what I was experiencing, while Connor and Angelina were always supportive, encouraging, and attentive during sessions. I always felt like the team genuinely cared about my recovery and progress. What I appreciated most was how personalized everything felt instead of being put through a generic routine. The exercises, hands-on treatment, and overall guidance were clearly tailored to what I needed, and I saw a very fast improvement in my shoulder recovery and mobility because of it. I'd absolutely recommend them to anyone dealing with pain, injuries, or mobility issues and would definitely return again if needed.
