I have been to Dr. Radovic twice and both times I had extremely positive experiences with the staff and the doctor

I've been a patient of Dr. Radovic's for almost a decade, and so has my wife. He really knows his stuff and has performed surgery on my toe, made orthotics for my shoes, and helped me deal with other foot issues. He's generally very friendly and all business, and the office runs a tight operation. Dr Radovic is the best! Honestly, he changed my life. I had lived with pain in my toe for over 20 years. My primary doctor over the years said it was athlete's feet. It wasn't until I saw Dr Radovic on 'The Doctors" TV show performing hammer toe correction, did I know it could be fixed. He diagnosed me and corrected my pain in my right foot. I just wrote an entire essay about how great Tracy is, she is worth a visit here! They are very professional, but she is a stand out! Every time I come in, she's so happy to greet me, she's really welcoming, and makes you feel comfortable as soon as you walk (or limp) in. Lol. The doctor is very warm as well, he diagnosed my Morton's neuroma and gave me options for treatment or surgery. I was referred to Dr. Radovich by my step-father...so glad he did. He diagnosed my pain issues and then my foot surgery to remove a bursa and bunion went great. I went to Dr Radovic seeking an alternative to foot surgery for a painful bunion. He's a very patient doctor and took time to review my case and present solutions. I last visited this business in 2017, and haven't returned for the following: I've been a patient of many doctors, and relatively speaking Dr. Radovic did not spend enough time and care with me as I expect to have with a medical professional. I intended to ask him in depth questions about my feet condition but never received a full conversation. His lack of face-to-face interaction disappointed me from the amount I was being charged to get one pair of orthotics (about $500 for one pair of insoles and the services). His facial expressions and body language showed me he wasn't willing to answer my questions. This was after I had my orthotics fitted to my shoes (which any person can do) on an extra billed visit, separate from the first and only necessary visit. It appeared as if he was holding secrets when I asked him objective subject matter questions. It seems like he doesn't appreciate patients that think about the solutions to their problems. Again, I've been a good patient of many doctors and this experience was unsatisfactory. If anyone has flat feet I recommend Dr. Scholl's orthotics you can buy online for $20. I attest to them being equally effective than the expensive orthotics I received from this business. There's a reason why that Dr. Scholl's is extremely successful! If any staff or even Dr. Radovic reads this, no offense intended but I must exercise my rights and disclose my experience. read more

Was not impressed. Dr. Radovic did not offer any clear advice for my issue. Did not provide any aftercare instructions after drilling my toenail. He applied Neosporin directly from the tube onto my toenail/ toe, touching it with the tip of the tube. I hope he didn't do that with his previous patient because that is a little gross, isn't it? He did not offer an explanation of the issue I was having or any course of treatment. I felt rushed out of his office. I can only imagine I will be even less impressed after I receive the bill. I put off bunion surgery for as long as I could. After consulting three different podiatrist, I decided to go with Dr. Radovic. He explained the procedure well and didn't give me false hope that I'll be back on my feet in two days. He was thorough with his explanations, and offered a much less invasive surgery than the traditional bunion surgery. The office staff is very friendly, helpful and informative. I wish I had done this procedure sooner and Dr. Radovic made it easy and as painless as possible. Thankfully the procedure itself is not nearly as bad as I was expecting and my recovery did take a while, the nightmare stories I had heard about bunion surgeries did not happen thanks to Dr. Radovic. I recently had foot surgery that involved all five toes. Dr. Radovic did the surgery and after care. He has been very professional and my toes are healing well. It is not a quick recovery, but I'm confident that I will eventually be able to walk better then before the surgery. This doctor knows what he's doing and is always professional. After subjecting Buttercup to several unsuccessful procedures on her ingrown toenail my brother referred us to Dr. Radovic to get this this problem addressed properly, I am so glad we followed his advice. Dr. Radovic was so a total professional, at one point my daughter lost her mind when she heard the price. He excused himself while I spoke to her; poor thing thought since she just turned 18 she was going to have pay. Just the same, the price was totally reasonable and I paid of course. He explained why she was getting the ingrown nails (bunions) and that he would need to remove a portion of the nail and put a chemical on it to prevent that part from growing back. He completed the procedure and provided a sheet with aftercare instructions gave her a very fashionable, picture a Herman Munster sandal, to wear for a few days. We were in and out the door in an hour. I would highly recommend Dr. Radovic he is great. read more

I had bunionectomy surgery done by Dr. Radovic December 2014. My foot ended up worse than it was before, it has never healed; it never will. I live with foot pain being able to walk very little. My bunion was not the problem, it did not hurt, but it pushed against the second toe causing pain to that toe, the theory was that by fixing the bunion (straightening it out) and fusing the second toe it would help relieve the pain. The first solution the doctor offered which was a custom orthotic did not help. The first failure of this office was that I was not prepared before hand for what was to be done to my foot, this was a hard learned lesson, I know better now. I woke up with pins in my foot and the big toe pointing up 45 degrees. I though this was odd, but what did I know, I trusted the doctor. As time went by I also realized that the big toe had not been straightened out; if you look at images and youtube videos of the before and after results of this type of surgery the big toe is brought back to a straighter position. The second failure was that very little post-operative instructions were provided, only a one page document with some confusing and misleading information. Various follow up calls to the office for explanation led to even more conflicting information, I would be told one thing one time and another the next time. I gave it close to a year before going back to Dr. Radovic because a lot of the comments I read about this surgery is that it takes time to heal, often over a year. I went back to the doctor seeking relief for the pain twice. Both times the doctor just told me how well the surgery had come out almost as if proud of his work. However no explanation as to why I was in pretty severe pain. On the first visit seeking relief the doctor said that a new orthotic was needed because since the shape of my foot had changed the old one would not work (this did not make a lot of sense) since my insurance did not cover the cost it would have costed me $500 which I could not afford. I opted for having the old one refurbished for $75.00. On the next visit I told the doctor that the toe pointing up was causing problems because this led to the support of the toe not going to the floor and the weight that the toe would normally support was taken over by the ball of my foot, he said it was ME who was forcing the toe to point up, no explanation given as to why I was in pain. This is absurd, I was forcing my toe to point up for over a year? I ended up consulting with 2 podiatrists, both agreed that the surgery had a problem and both agreed that trying to fix the problem would most likely not result in a positive outcome and that I may end up in worse shape. One question that came up from both was if I was ever offered injection to try to ease the pain before going down the surgery road. It was not, I wish this was suggested by Dr. Radovic but it was NOT. I noticed that in all the sites where the doctor has received a negative review he has replied denying there might be a problem, ever single response seems targeted and discrediting the patient and putting the blame back on them. In one of my posts in Google reviews the doctor claims that I went to see him at his office some time ago with a traumatic injury to my foot and that I failed to follow up with him because my insurance had changed, this is a blatant lie, I asked the doctor to provide evidence of this happening which of as expected it went unanswered, I am still waiting. In the end I am sorry I ever set foot in the California Foot & Ankle or Footfixer like the doctor likes to call himself, for that mistake I live in pain for the rest of my day. I am a bit disappointed with Dr Radovic's assessment of my foot problem. Turns out, after three months of pain, that his diagnosis was incorrect. Not arthritis of the second toe but a cyst cause by a puncture wound that I had gotten in the same area. I told Dr Radovic about the injury and he was sure that was not my issue. I was sold orthotics which threw out my back and I needed 6 weeks of therapy and went through much pain....along with the foot pain. Soft tissue needs ultrasound, not an X-ray. I just had a sound wave treatment and the lump is GONE along with the pain. Always get a second opinion is my motto. read more

I had extreme bunion surgery with Dr Radovic. After surgery the foot looked great. With screws and a plate I did mucho PT and swam, etc. One year later I was on top of Everest with the repaired foot. But over 2 1/2 years my foot is really almost back to where it was!! I've gone in twice and Dr Radovic said he could go back in and fix it - after two cortisone shots. I cant do it. I actually cant understand it. In my world I do something right the first time (guiding people up Everest), and its incomprehensible to me that he wants to "go back in and fix it". I called to schedule an evaluation for my son to have his foot looked at. Before I could even tell the receptionist / Gatekeeper to find out what he needed. She asked what kind of insurance my son has. Unfortunately he has Medi cal. They dont take medi cal. So I asked what the cost would be just to look and give an evaluation. At the top of her head she said $250 for new patients. Just to give an evaluation for 15 minutes. That's 4 x the late of a top knoch Lawyer. This is whats wrong with the healthcare system and doctors like this. Please do not give your money and put your care in this practice. This is your typical money grubbing doctors office that does not care about people. Just MONEY. I told her I was willing to pay what ever it would take for any procedure. But it was the fact they have absolutely no empathy for someone ailing and needing help. They probably would have received plenty of money. Cash with no insurance red tape. Shame on this practice. I have been a patient of Dr. Radovic for almost 30 years. I originally went to him for calluses on my feet. I was on my feet all day at my job. Over the years Dr. Radovic has performed 3 surgeries on my feet. He has also treated me for ankle and feet problems. But the proof of Dr Radovic's sincerity was when I was bitten by a brown recluse spider. I went to my regular doctor who only gave me an antibiotic prescription. No one knew what I had--only a big red line in a vein in my leg and a huge infection on a toe. I called Dr. Radovic's office, asked if I could get an appt ASAP. He looked at the infection and had me admitted to a hospital and placed on IV antibiotics. After 3 days, blood work came back that I had a brown recluse spider bite. His proactive response saved me from a lot worse outcome of waiting a few days as the other Dr. had wanted to do. Dr. Radovic is thorough, kind, patient, and explains everything he does. I was in pain off and on for a year due to an ingrown toenail. It would infected off and on and would cause me a lot of pain sometimes it would not even allow me to walk on the foot that had the ingrown. I finally decided to get some help to see what I could do about relieving my pain for good. I had heard about Dr. Radovic and I decided to call him. I made an appointment within a week of my initial call. He was so nice and he made it so that I wouldn't feel the pain from the nail ever again. He was so helpful.
