The total hands-on treatment time was extremely limited. I was placed on a heat pad for approximately 10-15 minutes, briefly instructed to perform a few movements, and then most of the remaining time was spent printing exercise sheets. There was minimal direct supervision, minimal therapeutic engagement, and little professional attention devoted to my condition. In addition, my appointment began 20-30 minutes late. After being taken to the room, I waited again without assistance for approximately 10 minutes. This reflects poor time management and lack of organization. For comparison, I previously underwent shoulder rehabilitation at California Rehabilitation for six months. Their sessions were structured, focused, and typically lasted 40-45 minutes with active therapeutic involvement. Yesterday's session did not meet that standard in any measurable way. Given the limited session time, lack of therapeutic concentration, and overall inefficiency, I do not believe continuing treatment at your facility is appropriate. Please cancel all of my upcoming appointments immediately. I would also like the General Manager to contact me directly regarding this matter. I believe there are clear concerns about quality of care, professionalism, and staff training that need to be addressed. I expect confirmation of cancellation and a follow-up call at your earliest convenience.

My goal was to regain 100% range of motion so I could resume my normal activities including my exercise regimen comprising dumbbells and chinning bar. I had spoken to a neighbor older than me who had a torn rotator cuff repaired and could not reach up much above her shoulder. That was not for me. I knew that young people and sports people required 100% restoration while old people probably did not care as much. My research of Dr. Labovitch revealed that he was a sports medicine physician. Sports people with an injury don't want to have any limitations after treatment, so that was the best sign that Dr. Labovitch was the orthopedic surgeon for me. When I went to his office, I gained my ultimate confidence when his waiting room was filled mostly with young people. My surgery was successful, and although it took a bit (maybe 9 months) of expected rehab effort on my part, done partly at home, I regained 100% range of motion, and my arm and shoulder felt no different from the way it was before my accident. I had several subsequent visits to Dr. Labovitch for different issues, and each time his diagnosis was perfect and my recovery complete and uneventful. When requiring PT I always went to California Rehabilitation & Sports Therapy at 36 Mauchly in Irvine, run by Anthony Bisaccia, who is very competent, has a great team, and is wonderful to work with.

I have been a patient of Advanced Physical Therapy off and on for three years. I have predominantly seen Justin Fesler and have always received excellent care! The office staff were always so pleasant and I never felt like I was just another patient. Everyone, especially the therapists were always very attentive to my well being as a whole and not just the injury or issue I was being seen for. I have had knee issues ongoing since highschool as a result of an injury and have periodically received physical therapy at various facilities when the pain is aggravated to a point where walking and climbing stairs becomes continually painful. I had such a flare up 3 years ago when I was first seen by Justin. Immediately I realized that the treatment I would receive this time would be far different that what I received historically at other facilities. Instead of a predominantly exercised base treatment plan Justin combined exercise along with other techniques; ART (Active Release Techniques) and Strain Counter Strain that greatly reduced my pain almost immediately! For the first time someone actually explained to me in layman terms what was wrong with my knee and what I could do to proactively keep it healthy. I was amazed at how quickly I completed my course of physical therapy. In the past I would continue with treatment for several months with my pain never completely resolved. This time I was symptom free in just 2 months!! I remained symptom free for more than 2 years by following the stretching and exercise guidelines Justin gave me when I was discharged!! I was recently involved in a car accident and suffered a jolt to my right knee and whiplash to my neck and shoulder. I once again returned of course to Justin for treatment. The whiplash was resolved in just a few treatments and my knee is currently well on its way to being symptom free once again. I am comforted by the fact that no matter what ailments my body decides to throw at me as I age I have a fantastic physical therapist to go to for treatment. I would highly recommend Advanced Physical Therapy to anyone looking for therapists that will provide you with a comprehensive healing approach to what ever issue you are currently suffering through. No matter what it is I guarantee they can fix it! L Zrimsek Rancho Santa Margarita, CA read more

Advanced Physical Therapy of Mission Viejo is most probably beyond any expectation I had in relief for my pain. Over the years various physicians have sent me to physical therapists for a number of ailments. For approximately 14 years I had increasingly more pain and problems with a lower lumbar medical condition. I was given choices of surgery, injections and physical therapy. I started with the injections which gave me almost immediate relief, but along with the injections I needed to also get therapy and learn to help myself with this ongoing problem. Dr. M. referred me to Advanced Physical Therapy to continue my treatment. To use the word "miracle" is just about what it has been for me and my pain. I never ever thought there was real help for my ongoing pain. Almost every movement brought pain. It took a while but i found out that surgery is not the only option for back pain/problems. Give Advanced PT a chance to prove you can feel better! Justin Fesler is on the cutting edge of the practice of physical therapy! He has made it possible for me do those every day things without pain. He teaches a person what to do at home to help themselves with their problem. I feel improvement with just about every treatment. If medical equipment is needed he will suggest it and Diane will lead you through the process of obtaining it. Through all of these steps I can daily have relief from my pain. From the moment you walk into the office, you are greeted with kindness by Diane, given help with billing, etc., by Lorie, assisted by Sean, Brook and Chris, and anyone else on staff to assist in your treatment! You get the feeling that you are important to everyone there. The facility is clean beyond expectation, fully organized and from the first time always I felt like they truly cared about my pain and wanted to help me!! I also know that once my care plan is complete and the time comes that I might need help again, they are just a phone call away!! Thanks Justin and Advanced PT of Mission Viejo!! DB read more

I've been coming to Advanced Physical Therapy to manage a neck injury and prepare for upcoming rotator cuff surgery, and I couldn't be more impressed with the care I've received. From the start, the staff has been warm, supportive, and incredibly knowledgeable. My therapist, Paul Konopasky, developed a customized prehab program that has helped me improve strength and mobility in my shoulder while reducing neck pain. I feel much more confident going into surgery knowing I've built a solid foundation with their help. The facility is clean, organized, and welcoming, and every session feels productive and encouraging.
