Before I came to Dr Aziz, I had been struggling for about 20 months with plantar warts on my feet…read more I had seen a podiatrist and then a dermatologist before Dr Aziz, had two excision procedures as well as about 10 liquid nitrogen freezings, without any resolution to the warts. I chose Dr Aziz because she had good ratings and also could provide Swift microwave therapy. I was initially skeptical because Swift is not covered by my insurance, but I was desperate to try something after battling my warts for so long. After the first set of treatments (4 sessions), there was some improvement but the warts remained. However, after the second treatment of the second set (treatment number 6 in total), the warts significantly improved and shrunk. By treatment 7, the warts were almost entirely gone and the last treatment she declared me wart free (we still did a final treatment just to be sure). Along with the microwave treatments, Dr Aziz prescribed a compound treatment cream every night under a bandage to aid in fighting the wart and attack from the top surface. Clearly it was a success. Microwave therapy is MUCH less painful than freezing or surgery. While there can be an intense stinging for about a half second, it subsides within seconds and after a treatment there is very very mild soreness that goes away entirely within a day. In comparison, freezing for my larger warts caused throbbing pain for multiple days for each treatment that required me to stay home from work and take pain medications for about a day and a half to go about my day. Excision is also painful - not as throbbing as freezing but much longer recovery. Microwave therapy requires no downtime for me and I can walk out of the office after treatment with no issues (just minor soreness that doesn't affect walking). Dr Aziz and her staff are excellent - they always take the time to explain procedures and process and I never felt rushed. The office is clean, well kept, and well staffed. Overall fantastic experience!

I went back and forth with Fountain Orthotics for months on whether my orthotics were covered by insurance. Eight months after I was given the initial referral and going back and forth with them about my coverage, my doctor asked our insurance to change the provider. That was when they changed their tune and admitted that my insurance would indeed cover them in full. I had put in a deposit which took another 4 months to get back because even though they said they would automatically refund me the money once they received the insurance payment, I had to call them to get it back. Very frustrating!

The orthotics they made me are horrible and very poorly made. After only two weeks my feet hurt worse then they had in years. The orthotics have already begun to fall apart. I called and tried to get back in for adjustment and was told I have to give it more time. Is that so they can completely fall apart? Remind you the only give you a 90 day warranty. To top it off today I received I bill for another $254.00. So almost $650.00 dollars for some worthless orthotics I can't wear that are falling apart! I've been a customer here for around 15 years. I had an appointment back in October, 2016 for a brace/boot to wear after foot surgery. The appointment went good, the doctor was on time and helpful. The problem I have is with the billing department. I paid right after my appointment for the brace/boot I received and believed everything was good. A year later, with no contact by the way, I suddenly had a collections notice of owing more money. I have no problem with paying more... if I see the bill and understand why. This hasn't been the case. After spending hours with my health insurance company to find the claim details, we found it was an error and that I actually over paid.... that I shouldn't be in collections and that I should be reimbursed money. The thing is, I don't care about the small refund, what I do care about is that it's hurting my credit score now. On top of that, I spoke with someone on December 13, 2018 and was told I would get a refund and it would be taken off my credit report as a collection. And yet still no refund and it's still hurting my credit score. Just beware! It's been two years and a lot of energy.
