Their spanish latte is so good! In the future I'd get it a little less sweet. To be honest, I think this coffee shop is a little on the pricier side. But overall the service and vibes are great This place is probably one of my favorite places to study and hangout. There are plenty of seats and charging spots.

Ugly hot chocolate

This location is very convenient so I occasionally stop by for a Spanish latte. My review is for my most recent experience. Service was crap and the baristas lack common sense. I tried using my $10 gift card and the computer was being slow so the barista tells me, "I'm not sure if this is going to work, is there actually money on this card?" It eventually went through. After ordering I waited awhile for my drink, then saw the cafe was getting busy so I went and grabbed a seat while there were still spots available. I kept going back to the counter to check on my drink and still nothing. I ended up waiting 25 minutes for my drink, and I shit you not, this was the ugliest drink I've ever seen. They ran out of clean dishes so they served my hot chocolate in a huge mug and didn't even give me a saucer. Since it was such a big mug, they only filled my drink 3/4 of the way and I couldn't even lick the whipping cream off the top. I borrowed a saucer from the couple sitting next to me to try and take a nice pic, but it was hopeless. I ended up asking another barista to re-make my drink in a to-go cup, which they should've done in the first place. Passionfruit hot chocolate: dark chocolate and house made passionfruit syrup blended with oat milk, topped with passionfruit cheesecake whipped cream & served with a passionfruit cookie. The drink itself was actually pretty good. I really liked the passionfruit whipped cream.

I don't usually go to Caffe Artigiano for hot beverages but this is in a hot spot in Burnaby Heights. I come here every now and then to get hot chocolate and sit and relax. They have big windows so if you like a lot of sun, you can sit all day with your laptop and work here. But if you're trying to stay away from the sun like I am, then this wouldn't be your spot. They offer a large seating area, good drinks and friendly customer service.

Caffe Artigiano is still one of my favourite coffee shop in Burnaby. Their Spanish Latte is always my go-to drink (half sweet).. so good! Their pastries are also delicious! Its location is conveniently in Burnaby Heights with street parking at the front and lot in the back. Lots of seating available both inside and out! The staff is always nice and friendly. A great place for a coffee date or if you need somewhere to study.

The one that tops the Starbucks in this city. Also the one Artigiano I know far away from downtown. I really love coming to this place, as the coffee is far up and above how Starbucks taste (Sorry to all you Starbucks addicted fiends!). And the place itself has a great feel, from the high ceilings, to the wood finish, and the very friendly staff, there are many things to like. The area where this place is located has definately grown in the last 10 years (Willingdon & Hastings), and continues to this day with new businesses and building being raised. I sometimes make the effort to actually come here, when I want a good coffee. The prices are a little higher than Starbucks, but the quality alone makes up for it, and you get a great place to sit around (very big and spacious inside), a handful of seats on the street, with tons of free street parking. They do not open late though, I think only up to 9, or 10 at the latest.

One of several coffee joints along the Burnaby Heights corridor. Parking is available on the side streets. The interior is surprisingly large - this place takes up 2 units instead of 1. As a result, there is a pile of seating, which is good. However, this place does NOT provide Wi-Fi. This is a big one. Looks like staying here for extended periods is a bad idea. Something to keep in mind, which is quite surprising. Minus 1 star. Lastly, my coffee tasted burnt. Ugh. Subtract another star. Guess I'll be hanging out at Waves across the street.

Fast service with plenty of tables to seat. I got half sweet tall Caramel Macchiato ($4.20 with tax) and somehow it tasted very much like Spanish Latte. However I liked it. It should've been bit bitter and mixed with caramel flavour. One of the washrooms was quite dirty. Therefore I'm giving 3 stars.

I always like this location more than others. It has 2 levels of seating with outside seating as well. The coffee is not bad. Staff are nice and helpful. Music and ambience is not bad either. Great place to chat and read some newspapers with the hubs. We were here on a Saturday afternoon in January and there were constant amount of people coming and going. We enjoyed a seasonal Naval Orange Mocha and it was tasty - just wish it had more orange flavour.

Cozy spot, in terms of decor, one of the nicer ones in Sunrise Heights in Burnaby. There's another cute one north of Willingdon but I digress. Loses a star for no wifi, despite their business reasons lol. Plenty of cushioned seating along the wall, compared to a Starbucks. One communal table on the right side.

This place couldn't get any more dirtier. Used mugs everywhere.

Not well taken care of. Clearly no one paying much attention to how clean it is here. Wow. Used mugs everywhere.

Oldish interior but very decorative. More of an old person spot in my opinion. Food was good tho!

My coffee tasted a bit burnt and somehow still wasnt hot either. Had high expectations, maybe it was just an off day.

I usually drink dark brew coffee or americano , taste was not bad, I would give 3 stars because their service and kindness weren't so good.

They have more than 35 different tea flavors and they don't make a show out of that :D Okay! the place looks so creepy for the outside, but nice and super clean from the inside! Their chairs are not that comfy but it's okey, The tea house, in addition to teas, offers wide rang of hot beverages (latte etc), pastries (cheesecake etc) and middle Eastern appetisers (eg. Humus). Of course their main thing is TEA! I had four different types and I was always blown away by it's magical flavor! to the extend that it made me hate other teas! it ruined me :S The Joint also have a ME grocery corner, the good side is that the place doesn't smell like other regular ME grocery shops :D very neat I have to say! They also have Sufi bookstore upstairs and they offer *free* SUFI meditation session every Wednesday @7.30 for 30 min. I tried the sessions twice, a small group of 7-10 from diverse ethnic backgrounds with nice music that they call "TASABEEH" and then you can have some tea before you leave. Really liked the place! check it out, esp the top floor. I gave it 4, though I thought it's more of 4.5 but I think the seating area could be improved to earn the full mark! Keep it up guys! p.s check Rumi's books upstairs, they're different !

If I wasn't heading to the fair, I likely would've loaded up on some more sweet treats The panini was pretty filling and had a nice amount of melted swiss inside after grilling -- I think it's solid but nothing special. The 0.5 docked from 4 stars would be because I was severely underwhelmed by the hot chocolate, not only it was scalding hot when I got it but it wasn't super rich or flavourful (a bit watered down to me). However, I would come back to try more pastries! I've had their cannolis previously and enjoyed them but this time, the limoncello puff blew me away! There was a spectacular amount of cream inside and it had a rich tartness unlike a regular lemon pastry (what I can assume is what limoncello tastes like despite having never had it before). The light glaze on top was sweet to balance the tart and it definitely has to be my new favourite cream puff in town
