After being confused about there not being a buffet at the Hilton downtown, we ended up at Arthur's Bistro at the Hilton off of 75. The hotel is very nice and the dining room is open and bright. There were a lot of options for things to eat and a wonderful carving station with roast beef. There was also an omelette station and plenty of charcuterie, fruit, and pastry selections. The meal also included endless mimosas. The staff was very attentive and was quick to refill drinks and take away finished plates. I will say that I was a little surprised at the price of $39, for a once, every so often experience, though, it was worth the price as we were celebrating a birthday. read more

Stayed at the Hilton and received a coupon and thought "why not" because the stations and variety looked appealing. The dining area was clean and service quick. Had the pleasant surprise of a great live jazz singer, too. Why I gave this a rating of 3 stars is because the food is underwhelming, especially for the price. It lacks flavor. We kept needing to added spices or condiments and also some of the options didn't make sense for a holistic dining experience (e.g. where is the bagels and cream cheese to go with the lox, onions, etc spread? Or why not a vegetable to go with the fried chicken instead of two starches?). It's a nice try on the Hilton's part but unfortunately it's a miss and we won't try this experience again. read more

We have been to the Hilton many many times on Sundays also for holidays. Always has been a great experience, up until yesterday. We made a reservation, paid the deposit for the reservation. The hostess said they never had a reservation for us. My credit card had the deduction. They still sat us, their service was fine. The food was OK no bread no fruit and by the time we were to have dessert,they only had cookies left. For special holidays, the prices are higher. I feel it was a waste of money. I will have a hard time getting my husband to go back there, which is disappointing because it was a nice place to go after church. Always enjoyed atmosphere was always nice. read more

We were pleasantly suprised by this restaurant in the Ocala Hilton. We had a good breakfast of veggie omelet with hashbrowns. Also, really enjoyed the matbeled rye toast. Also had a nice dinner with my family. We enjoyed the margerita flatbread, harvest salad, a beef tenderloin. The salads are huge. Easily enough to share. The food was good but the service was even better. Our servers were Deion and Kristie. They were both very friendly and efficient. Good service makes such a difference and these two were both top notch. I have to say the restaurant was the best part of our stay at this hotel. read more

Definitely turned things around here. Great changes to the menu, service, quality, etc. heard they are planning on a face lift soon as well. David Lewis, Dave Erickson, and the rest of the staff are doing a great job. We had a nice meal and definitely will be back. Food is really good. Wife and I tried the Salmon and the Grouper. Waited 5 minutes with no line at the hostess stand while the hostess maintained the buffet line. There is no bus person so every table in the restaurant was dirty throughout our entire breakfast. I've been waiting ten minutes for the check and the servers are nowhere to be found. Eggs were not prepared as I ordered, home fries lacked flavor. Skip this place. read more

Worst Thanksgiving Buffet Ever!! First of all, it took 20 minutes to even get water/drinks and they brought the wrong ones. The prime rib, ham, turkey were Tasteless & Cold. Both my husband & I took a bite of the Cold mashed potatoes and bit into Full Cloves of Garlic. The salad was a Soup saturated with Caesar dressing and mushy croutons. The corn & green beans were Obviously canned. The fruit was literal mush, the charcuterie was hard, cheeses tasteless. The rolls and chicken were so hard that my husband & I Literally couldn't even bite into them. A menu was sent to my email which Supposedly showed 'The Menu' of what we'd receive. There was NO Omelet Station & No Chocolate Mousse. The Desserts tasted like the ones you'd get from a Discount store like the Dollar Tree. The mac & cheese was so hard that you couldn't scoop it out. The fries looked like they had been there since the day before, we were Not going to attempt to taste them. There was No Apple Crisp OR Apple Pie, much less Pumpkin Pie. We couldn't find ONE single item that was edible. There was No silverware at our table. My husband had to go look for some at another table and when I opened the napkin that they were in, the spoon was dirty. I researched all restaurants in Ocala and was impressed with online ratings. DON'T BELIEVE IT. This is a horrible restaurant. I was one of a few people in a line at the buffet commenting on the heat, the air conditioner was apparently not on or not working well. I Never complain but it was so Awful that I spoke to the manager who was very rude & dismissive. She said No one else complained, but I heard 2 tables near us talking about how poor the food & service was. It appeared there were only 3 servers trying to take care of 3 rooms full of people. The manager not only lied to us about no one else complaining, she said that She made all the food & all the items on the menu that were sent to my email, were there. I went back to all the different food stations & Confirmed that she was Lying. DON'T Wate your Time or Money at this place. $136 GONE. Golden Corral would have been a HUGE step up. read more

What a great time we had today. Arthur's Bistro's Sunday Brunch was great. George was out server and he is the best. We started with coffee and unlimited Mimosas made our way lol, Champagne with orange juice just for color. I had a fresh made omelette and prime rib to start with, Pam also began with an omelette and some fresh cooked jumbo shrimp (cooked perfectly), I asked for the Bloody Mary Bar but they do not have it any longer but George have the F&B director buy me one lol and it looked like a full meal, way to go guys!! We both went back for a follow up trip and tried the Boef Borgognone good needed more wine and time to simmer, I had a Rice Pilaf with chicken yumm tender and full of flavor, Pam had more shrimp and also more shrimp and did I say more shrimp. For Dessert we had Chocolate Moose and fresh strawberries so good. Sad, just sad. When we arrived on a Friday evening, there was only one other couple, when they left, one other couple came in. The $36 rack of lamb and the $34 NY strip were both covered with brown gravy, like that kind you get in the packet and mix with boiling water. The lyonnaise potatoes were practically raw. The wine, Meiomi Pinot Noir that was recommended by the waitress, was barely passable, really not good. I did not complain because my hubby made reservations and looked forward to taking me to a nice place where we had never been before. He heard it was good, I'm not sure who told him that. The salad was served without dressing; after waiting 10 minutes for the waitress to come back and then bring us dressing, well, it was a good salad. The rolls were good, warm with citrus butter. Go anywhere else, Chilis, Applebee's, anywhere is better that Arthur's, and it is very expensive! read more

The breakfast buffet looked mediocre, so my husband and I asked to order off the menu (the waiter apparently assumed we'd have the buffet). I ordered the Eggs Benedict Caprese and he had the smoked salmon. Everything was absolutely delicious. The eggs and the roasted potatoes they came with were cooked to perfection. My husband was impressed by how much salmon and capers came with his bagels. Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal. We definitively intend to return. read more

VERY unhappy. Went for an early dinner on New Year's Eve. Made a reservation for 3:30 and when we arrived we were told that the restaurant doesn't even OPEN until 4:30!!!!! We were offered an opportunity to order from the full menu at a table in the BAR!!! Because we were hungry, we decided to stay, even though I don't like bar seating when I have my 14 year-old granddaughter with me.
