Names were exchanged and the elderly driver went on her way. The next day I took her car to a local body shop for an estimate on the damage. They wrote up an estimate of $1600.00. Being diligent I went to a second body shop, FIX AUTO at 58 Racine Road. A young man, Brian Holliday came out looked at the damage and said I can buff it out for you. I asked how much and he said nothing. The paint is not damaged, just a rubber mark.Come back tomorrow. I returned today, Wed March 8 and true to his word Brian buffed it out and when I offered him some cash he refused to take it. Who in this day can say they didn't get jammed up by a body shop??? I just got a ticket today (Dec 14 2021) for use of plate not authorized for vehicle. Sonyia told me herself via text that my old plate I was using on my Chrysler was good for use on my new car(honda). I do have text messaging proof of everything. I called the dealership to speak to Sonyia but all she did was laugh, I asked to speak to her manager/colleague Rodney and he did the same, laugh, which I also have a recording of them both laughing . I almost got my car towed away and now I have to pay a $140 ticket for a mistake the dealership made. I am a single mom who currently can't use my car for work because of this and Sonyia and Rodney thinks it's funny. I would be very mindful of purchasing a car from these people if I was you. They are crooks. It has been a horrible experience from start.
