We were greeted by the giant saltwater aquarium, which my boys went bananas over. Inside of the children's area, there's a plaque that provides the tank information. Also in there are so many fun areas to read. There's a lighthouse, huge tree, dinosaur skeleton, space ship, and much more! There are also plenty of places to sit and read, both quiet and more in the thick of things. Lots of tablets as well. And friendly staff. The library also has a really nice selection of books in certain languages. I wish they had Thai, but it was nice to see representation! I also really appreciate the audio tour. I didn't listen to it this round, but the fact that it's there and that there's so much on display really makes this library special. There's a dedicated YA area that requires a school ID to get into. They also have newspapers and a really snazzy reading room! Next time, I'll use it. While they have swag and books at the book shop, there was no one volunteering there when we went, so we didn't get a chance to go inside. Oh well, that just means we'll have to come back.

The interior is modern, bright, and aesthetically pleasing, making it such a relaxing place to spend time. It's peaceful, well-maintained, and simply a great space to read, learn, and unwind. My favorite part is the children's area. The aquarium is always a hit, and I love the prehistoric theme with the dinosaur fossils and the fun ceiling design. It makes the space feel so imaginative and inviting for kids. The library is also thoughtfully laid out with dedicated areas for children, teens, magazines and publications, plus an extensive collection of books on the second floor. There are even study rooms you can reserve ahead of time, which is a great feature if you need a quiet place to work or study. Parking is convenient since it's next to the sheriff's station and shares a large parking lot, including basement parking.

FYI to anyone inquiring about private venue rental for this place, they DO NOT allow any children's…read moreparties. It's not listed anywhere on the website so save yourself the time of checking. We used equipment that was already provided by the venue and just plugged in our thumb drive to do presentations on a really large projector screen so it was super easy. Parking was easy and sufficient. Staff was very nice, accommodating and attentive throughout the booking process and all the way through to event day and after. We had a great experience and would totally recommend this venue for any occasion! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

The whole park is clean and well maintained - no trash scattered on the ground and parking lot. During the week there are not a lot of people exercising and playing sports. The only time I have seen it pack is when people stop by to eat their lunch at the tables. There are not a lot of tables and chairs to hold a party so you definitely need to bring your own. There are no coverings for the tables and very little shade. The playground is never full and they have a variety of equipment to play from. If you want to train your dog I suggest this park as I have not seen plenty of pets walking or playing. You can have a whole grass area to you and your pet to train and exercise during the early hours before crowds arrive. The parking is small and I have seen people park in the neighborhoods across the street - be careful you do not get a parking ticket. This park is not in street view and you will miss it if you are not familiar with the area. The location is towards a neighborhood which is nice as there are little traffic and parking is easy. I would skip this park for nice, professional photography there are no beautiful landscapes or art anywhere in the park. All you have are trees (which are very little in the whole park) and green grasses.

The park has a dirt track that's wide enough so that people can shuffle or sprint here without interfering with one another. The trees and plants are also gorgeous, and there are signs everywhere explaining why these particularly (local) species were selected and how the local watershed works. There are large concrete benches/stairs on the southern end of the track, so there's plenty of space to sit and watch even if you're not joining your exercising friends. The community center looks cool, and there's a Little Free Library out front that I like to use. It's so random that this is here!
