Elite Touch Builders

I finally got around to fixing a pocket door that was off the track. I messaged few places on Yelp and Elite Touch was one of the first to respond. Their price was also very reasonable. After few messages back and forth, we scheduled a time. Yuriy messaged me first that he was on his way and he came exactly on time. The repair required him to remove the door trim to access the door hardware. He had to charge me for that which I had no problem with. He completed the job, and also showed me why the door was off and how he fixed it. He cleaned up and I couldn't even tell that the door trim was removed and reinstalled (despite him not having paint either). Payment was by Zelle. Very impressed with the work and professionalism. Definitely will look to use them for future.

AMAZING Experience with Elite Touch Builders - they were super fast to respond, extremely helpful…read morewith clear and detailed instructions, and were able to get in and complete the task within about 24 hours. Service - relatively simple, quick, and cheap job - replacing the screen on a screen door. Elite Touch was HAPPY to take the job, and did not treat me anything other than as a VIP client. They scheduled the job for the following day. Yurri was our man - and he was very impressive. Kind, knowledgeable, very fast and efficient - he made the entire experience seamless. He is also incredibly skilled, able to do plumbing, drywall, bathrooms/showers, and even able to replace a screen on a screen door in about an hour. Prices were very competitive, the service was impeccable, and I will certainly be doing business with them again!

Paul's Windows

Paul's Windows

Montecito Heights

(This review includes a response to the business owner's reply)…read more I had a deeply disappointing experience with Paul's Windows, and I want to share it so that other homeowners know what to expect before working with this company. I reached out for a small bedroom window replacement and had one key requirement: that the new window, once installed, provide a minimum clear opening height of 13 inches. The sales associate, Art, confirmed via text that the manufacturer (Crystal Pacific) said it would: 13.1875", in fact. That was fine by me. But when I asked for that specification to be confirmed in the contract, in writing, Art refused. Let me be clear: I wasn't asking for a personal warranty on the product. I simply wanted confirmation that the installed window, as ordered and managed by Paul's Windows, would meet the functional requirement I had clearly communicated. Art repeatedly deflected, referring to "what the manufacturer said," but was unwilling to take responsibility for the result. When I asked for accountability, he became dismissive and eventually walked away from the job. I contacted Paul directly, hoping for a more professional response. Instead, I received a generic brush-off and a claim that the window wouldn't meet the specs, which contradicts what their own sales associate had already confirmed. Worse, Paul didn't acknowledge or engage with any of the valid concerns I raised around basic customer service, transparency, or professional responsibility. Ultimately, I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I was hiring a company to manage a job and deliver a specific result. If something went wrong, say, the manufacturer provided a window that didn't meet the spec, it would be on the contractor to resolve it, not on me to go chase down the supplier. That's what any responsible company would do. But Paul's Windows made it clear they don't see it that way. If you're okay with vague communication, contractors who won't stand behind their own work, and potentially being left to deal with problems on your own, maybe this company is fine. But if you want clarity, professionalism, and accountability in writing, then look elsewhere. § Paul's response below is a classic damage control move -- polite on the surface, but full of deflection and quiet rewriting of events. To clarify: the window in question would have met the required 13" clear opening. That wasn't in dispute. Art, their sales associate, confirmed that in writing and was fully prepared to proceed with the job -- until I asked for a simple written accountability. That's the moment everything fell apart. Paul's follow-up misrepresents the timeline and sidesteps the core issue -- not whether the window would fit, but whether the company was willing to stand behind the result they were being paid to deliver.

Really affordable pricing to replace 4 of my windows! Art provided a quote for one window and then…read morecame out with an installer to measure 4 windows and provide another quote. After signing the contract the windows were ordered and arrived in about 3 weeks. The installation team worked quickly and Art was there to see it complete. Retrofitted the windows to fit in my existing frames to avoid having to work on the wall. Added the grids to match the style of the old windows since I have a condo and HOA would probably have an issue if not everyone's windows matched since it's a shared building.
